the MANDERLEY , seems to be a place which have mixed characteristics . its a Gothic place but not only Gothic ..reminds castles in Scotland , or beautiful English places in the countryside...i think that only the maitr could close this

so the celebrity { Davis } falls in love with the fake ......

Jean Cocteau....here we have a very talent man . he is an author mostly , i think { not sure} that he honored with a NOBEL prize .
anyway was and a great filmmaker . this film is something political and erotic drama , we must not forget that all , back in these ages were "explorers of a young phyhanalysis " its a recommended film

and now in the scene Bob Dylan ....parts of the life of this famous songwriter . a very difficult to filmed ,stuff , with the danger to lost the control . but Todd with a brilliant cast
give us a very good film

Sidney Lumet is over 80 years old and a legend ...he has filmed 35 or 40 films ...

when i went to the theater to see this movie
full of scepticism ....I MEAN I have seen all the "holly monsters " of German directors ,,
but the movie was so good ,so perfect ,so i thought that if cinema of Europe can product such movies ,we have still hope
