Dazed and Confused
A personal favorite and the ultimate coming of age story. It's funny, it's original, it's true and it's happening. I can watch this movie over and over and I hope you'll watch it too.
6
Little Miss Sunshine (2006,  R)
7
Philadelphia (1993,  PG-13)
Philadelphia
A groundbreaking experiment, wonderfully showing one man's, if not society's, struggle. Well worth seeing with open ears.

Eagle vs. Shark (2007,  R)
Eagle vs. Shark
I desired to see this movie because of my addiction to Flight Of The Conchords and without doubt, this movie continues the spontaneous lovability of those eccentric New Zealanders. The outfits and appearance of almost every character in the movie is worth seeing itself but if that isn't enough, never fear. With waggish dialogue and shocking characters, this movie is great. For anyone with a dry sense of humour, this movie is for you. **NOTE: This is one of those movies that while watching, isn't incredibly funny, however looking back, this movie is great.**
9
Garden State (2004,  R)
Garden State
KILLER soundtrack and sweet philosophies (including those of B.F. Skinner and Tears for Fears). When I first saw it I liked it but looking back, I realize that I love this movie. I can't get around how good the acting is and how funny the dialogue is. I strongly recommend this movie to anyone.
10
The Triplets of Belleville (Les Triplettes de Belleville, Belleville Rendez-vous) (2003,  PG-13)
11
The Breakfast Club (1985,  R)
