Spider-Man (2002,  PG-13)
2
Cold Mountain (2003,  R)
Cold Mountain
The chemistry between Kidman and Law is breathtaking but watching Zellweger as the rough, feisty and loudmouthed Ruby was a real treat. She makes Kidman look like a deer caught in headlights most of the time. Also I wouldnt miss any masterpieces from Anthony Minghella who directed The English Patient and Talented Mr Ripley. He makes films in the most beautiful locations! It is a real pity that the gifted director had passed away. Anyone who enjoys watching the Civil War period/epic romance movies, would treasure this one. I find this a well crafted film from start to finish.

The Notebook (2004,  PG-13)
The Notebook
A celebration of deep, profound love. Even my hubby who shys away from love stories was misty eyed, he blamed it on dust and what's not, of course.
4
The Phantom of the Opera (2004,  PG-13)
5
Australia (2008,  PG-13)

Atonement
How old do you have to be to tell the difference between right and wrong? The Quote. Brilliantly directed and acted
10
The Duchess (2008,  PG-13)
The Duchess
I enjoyed watching Keira Knightley in Pride and Prejudice, Atonement and now this wonderful period piece biopic.
Every man in England is in love with her- except her husband - quote. The marriage between Lady Georgiana Spencer and William Cavendish, Duke of Devonshire, was an arranged union, coaxed by her mother Lady Spencer. She is trapped in a cold, loveless marriage, her husband played marvelously by Ralph Fiennes whose main interests is his hunting dogs and a male heir. Its an emotional drama worth watching especially if you are a fan of historical fare.

WALL-E (2008,  G)
WALL-E
Pixar's done it again. Touching and very entertaining
12
Witness (1985,  R)
Witness
Listen, lady, you take my picture and I'm going to rip off your brassiere and strangle you with it." was one of my favourite scene from Ford in this movie.
To me, this was more of a love story, a forbidden romance than a cop drama as the story unfolds. Ford was fine in Raiders and yes he still puts up a decent performance here. I find the romance between the characters Book and Rachel is not convincing enough. Kelly Mcgilis was not making any effort here.
13
An Officer and a Gentleman (1982,  R)
An Officer and a Gentleman
I ve got Richard Gere's navy white vision seared into my cornea and brain, I can t remember anything else
14
Say Anything... (1989,  PG-13)
15
Ghost (1990,  R)
Ghost
This is a classic with a story so romantic and unique. One can never tire of. I trully enjoyed watching Whoopi Goldberg spin her magic here.
16
Pretty Woman (1990,  R)
17
Frankie & Johnny (1991,  R)
Frankie & Johnny
An honest love story with a moving ode to loneliness. Michelle Pfeiffer in my eyes is one of those true beauties of Hollywood, but here she plays and ostensibly plain, cynical and depressed waitress. She has had her fair share of destructive relationships. She has shut herself down emotionally and rather stay home with her VCR and send out for pizza. So naturally she is dubious of Johnny's romantic intentions. Pacino plays this charming" I don t want to date but I want to love and be married" character Johnny. I have seen so many of Pacinos' films involving crime and drugs, so I was surprised by his choice of role here. He does have a real flair for comedy though. This is not a sweep you off your feet kind of love story but rather an optimistic and a realistic one.
18
Indecent Proposal (1993,  R)
19
Legends of the Fall (1994,  R)
Legends of the Fall
Great epic drama, all the actors are absolutely brilliant esp Anthony Hopkins.
20
Reality Bites (1993,  PG-13)
21
The Specialist (1994,  R)
22
Romeo + Juliet (1996,  PG-13)
Romeo + Juliet
Stylish and visually brilliant, this modern adaptation of Shakepeare's classic. Can t expect any less from the bold and flamboyant one, Director Baz Luhrmann gave this 400 year old play a comtemporary shake .DiCaprio and Danes are amazing as the star crossed lovers. An interesting movie, combining Shakespearian dialogue with modern imagery. Movie quotes from Romeo: Did my heart love till now. Tempt not a desperate man.
23
Jerry Maguire (1996,  R)
24
Titanic (1997,  PG-13)
Titanic
The Titanic. Unsinkable, it was claimed until an iceberg changed everything. I don t think I will ever get bored of this movie. When it came out in 1997, I saw it for the very 1st time, I was in awe. Still am. The cinematography and the special effects kept me riveted. It gives you the feeling of almost being there on the ship itself. A visual grandeur indeed. The 2 leads were superb, amazing chemistry. To date, my favourite scene is where L.DeCaprio and Kate Winslet flying at the ship's front. The sinking of the great ship is no secret and certain scenes were so hauntingly sad .Every creak and groan of the ship was audible when watching it on a good quality DVD.
25
Starship Troopers (1997,  R)
26
Meet Joe Black (1998,  PG-13)
Meet Joe Black
Truly captivating piece. Brad Pitt + Sir Anthony Hopkins = brilliance
27
Practical Magic (1998,  PG-13)
Practical Magic
There's a little witch in every woman. This tagline always brings a smile to my face cause its true. Its a playful, just slightly spooky movie. Sandra and Nicole shares an amazing bond as spell casting sisters

Wild Things (1998,  R)
29
Coyote Ugly (2000,  PG-13)
30
Quills (2000,  R)
31
Moulin Rouge! (2001,  PG-13)
Moulin Rouge!
Quote: Tell our story Christian, that way I'll-I'll always be with you." .
Magical, stunning and so romantic. It is about a poet who falls for a beautiful courtesan, whom a jealous duke covets. Kidman and McGregor were formidable but Kidman dominated the movie.Who knew that both of them could carry a note in this musical. Both of them were destined to play the role of the poet and courtesan. Outstanding costumes and art direction too. Most memorable Musical soundtrack:Come what may. Gave me goosebumps.

Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980,  PG)

From Here to Eternity (1953,  Unrated)
35
The Last of the Mohicans (1992,  R)
The Last of the Mohicans
Action, romance, war, and passionate, intriguing drama. An epic to be reckon with.A timeless tale of the 18th century frontier and the virtue and tragedy that results when the uniquely different cultures of the French, English, Native Americans, and colonists collide. Daniel Day-Lewis and Madeline Stowe were brilliant here, they delivered their roles as Hawkeye and Cora Munro.
36
Casablanca (1943,  Unrated)
37
Gone With the Wind (1939,  G)
38
The Big Easy (1986,  R)
