Most Overrated Movies

The most overrated movies, based on their place on imdb top 250 (where they don't belong). They still might be good (hell, even great) films, but they're by far not as great as everyone wants to make you believe.

Didn't expect anything, almost didn't even see it. But quite funny for some parts. Great homage to Michael Bay and his great action movies.

I just watched this for the first time (after Wall-E) and while Wall-E wasn't that good at all, this one was awesome.

Again, what a disappointment. How people can say this is "another special film by Pixar" or anything like it, is beyond me.
The first 30 minutes were cute and cool (that noone spoke), but overall there wasn't anything special at all. The message, while true, was presented so cheap and bland.
And after all the human beings are still nice and all, just a little bit lazy, hu? Ya, right.
I expected an animation movie which is great for kids AND adults, which it unfortunately wasn't (Sure, there are people saying "oh, this 2001 homage was so great" and stuff like that, but ya..). There are people talking about "underlying themes" and social commentary... All I have to say about that. Ahahaha... good one. Well, good for you that a superficial message like that is enough for your taste.

One of those reaaaally overrated movies. Might have a good screenplay and stuff (yadadada), but what exactly has this to do with a movie? (expect for some parts of course). Definetely nothing I would pay for to see on a big screen.

There Will Be Blood (2007,  R)
There Will Be Blood 3.5 Stars
Let's make a slow, long film where almost nothing happens, awful music not fitting the scenes at all (ooh, there's so much meaning behind that you just don't get, and all the political stuff, duude) and everyone will scream "Masterpieceeeee!!". Oh man, since when is a film a masterpiece if it has nothing extraordinary? No great score, no great cinematography, no great story.
Yeah, great actor(s), but besides that. Ah well, still a good film of course, but far from a masterpiece.
The last about 20 minutes though were brilliant.

    What's funny about that? ;)
As I wrote, they're still great movies (most of them anyway).
