Titanic (1997, PG-13)
There's no doubt in giving it 5 stars! Titanic got all what this movie needs, good acting, good script, good scores (though the song My Heart Will Go On has weird lyrics), the setting, the special effect, and the emotion. Titanic will drag you into the situation, you'll see the great picturization of sinking ship and how passengers are struggling to save themself. one of the most touching thing is the grandma-grandpa scene and the mother with two children scene. it pictures how they give in fate because they have no chance to save themself (remember the crews prioritize the safety of first class first). in this movie you will also see that how much money you have in your pocket will not save your life. and that human race has nowhere to run. that when humans are close to death, it is time they start to look for God. Titanic isn't just a romantic movie about love between Jack and Rose. That's what makes it the highest grossing movie of all time. It is hard to beat the record of Titanic for it is hard to pull all aspects together in one movies. |
