This was an excellent film!.My New Year's resolution was to be completely open to seeing anything this year,to move out of my comfort zone. This movie had me in the corner scared to press the play button,Now I don't even really know why.It was amazing Felicity Huffman is awesome.I Love her the most in Desperate Housewives and WOW did she do an EXCELLENT job with this.It wasn't as "bad" as I thought it was going to be at all.In fact on the sirprising side it had many very funnt parts and a well written And acted story.I am totally recommending this one,for when you are ready for a little adventerous walk.=)

Suicide Kings (1997,  R)

Snow Cake
This movie is powerful,,I am now a huge Alan Rickman fan him and Sigourney Weaver are are a tremendous force in this brilliant film. Why did I never hear about this movie till last week?I don't understand why this didn't get 10 Oscars!Amazing ,AMAZING acting on Sigourney Weaver's part as an autistic mother that loses her daughter in a car accident,Alan Rickman (not wanting to spoil anything) is there with her to pick up the pieces of her life. seriously this is a beautiful MUST see film, alot of very funny moments too.Oh,and I will never ever play scrabble the same way again,I like their set of rules MUCH better. SEE IT SOON! =)

i very much agree taht 'transamerica' was overlooked. but i don't agree with 'brokeback mountain'. ask ANY gay man born after 1970 if he's seen it. you will hardly get a no-unless he lives in a big city and doesn't lust after jake gyllenhaal(something i don't understand).

great list. I am especially glad that AMERICAN HISTORY X was included in this list because it really is UNDERRATED. its like nobody i know has watched the movie or remember any promotional stuff. edward norton is one of the greatest actors of his time and he has proven it time and again in his movies. he was exceptional in this one. very different from all his other roles. the story is really captivating and yet sad at the same time.

I've heard of a few of these flicks but most just didn't grab me. If I'm not engaged by a trailer or the poster I'm not gonna go see it--and there is no way in the blue hell I'll go see a flick about gay cowboys. Could be that I'm a Horror/Sci-Fi movie buff, but to be honest none of these were worthy of being made in my opinion.
