Reservoir Dogs 5.0 Stars
This movie was spectacular in my eyes. It was Quentin Tarantino's first movie that he wrote and directed, which suprised me because of how brilliant it is. The acting is fantastic and very believable even if the storyline is a bit farfetched at parts. The dialogue grips you at every word that is said and is accompanied with unique and gripping direction. This movie is definetly one of the best movies of all time in my book and definetly will be remembered.

From Dusk Till Dawn (1996,  R)
From Dusk Till Dawn 5.0 Stars
One of my favourite horrors of all time, another film which has truly earned the right to be called a classic. I loved the fact that it isn't a horror until about an hour into it, then suddenly vampires come out from no where and weirdly it works.

I love Rodriguez's work and this is no exception. In my opinion this is his best work to date, despite it's low budget. I also love that Quentin Tarantino get's to show his acting here as he's not been in much. He also wrote the screenplay for the film which I don't think it would have been as good if he didn't.

The storyline before the vampires appeared I thought was very interesting. And I would have loved to have seen what would have happened if in fact the vampires didn't appear.

The acting here is superb on everybody's part, especially from Clooney. Who'd have thought he could pull off such a good bad guy but there you have it. I also like Juliette Lewis so that was an added bonus.

Overall an amazing film in my opinion. Some disgusting parts but it's done so comically that it doesn't freak you out. Go and see this if you haven't already, you won't regret it.

The Big Lebowski (1998,  R)
The Big Lebowski 5.0 Stars
I can only think of one way to describe this movie; "Far out man!" This movie is utterly fantastic, virtually perfect in nearly every way. Jeff Bridges gives a masterfully played performance as the wonderfully memorable 'Dude', which Bridge's potrayal of him can be admired in so many ways. Every one of his line's virtually are incredibly quotable, I was very surprised he pulled off this character. John Goodman is also fantastic as his post-vietnam buddy who seems to be angry at everything around him. I was a little dissapointed that Buscemi wasn't on screen more as I really like him. The storyline is so simple yet outrageously far-fetched that you can't help but be glued to it the whole time. It was told in such a way that you think to yourself 'Did I really just see that?' It's amazing what the Coen brothers can do with such a small amount of storyline. All I have left to say is that the Coen brothers have done it again with one of the most well crafted films of all time. I swear you will be quoting this film at every turn after watching this and in the end, always remember, "The Dude abides."

Con Air (1997,  R)
Con Air 4.5 Stars
One of my favourite action films of all time. I am sad to say they don't make action movies like this anymore; why oh why? The cinema is a lot worse off without top notch action movies like this.

From start to finish you are hooked on whatever is going on whether it be the over the top action, surprisingly funny dialogue or nail biting tension. This is one of the few big budget, box office smashes that are actually worth there hype.

They couldn't have cast this film better, they got it absolutely spot on. Nicolas Cage is just a perfect lead and this film and many others give me a strong reason behind why he is one of my favourite actors. John Cusack also is brilliant here, he plays the perfect good guy cop. And as far John Malkovich, I'm am surprised to say he stole the show from Cage. Everything I have seen him in he has been the highlight of and this is no exception. The rest of the cast do a great job here too, managing to not steal the show from any of the leads.

It is weird that this film isn't talked about more considering how high a budget it has. And all that money definetly paid off.

An absolute delight to watch from start to finish. Perfectly cast, stunning action sequences and simple yet effective storyline. Top notch stuff!

Pulp Fiction (1994,  R)
Pulp Fiction 5.0 Stars
This is my favourite movie of all time. It has everything a movie should and more. Fantastic acting, directing, screenplay and greatly developed characters. I am an massive fan of Quentin Tarantino and he certainly delivers here. The movie contains some of the most memorable moments in movie history including the Ezekiel 25:17 speech given by Jules Winnfield played by the amazing Samuel L. Jackson and the well known Royale with Cheese quote. The cast of this movie is utterly fantastic and they work together like no other cast I have ever seen. You haven't lived if you haven't seen Pulp Fiction and I suggest you definetly do if you haven't already. This movie is in my opinion the greatest movie in history it would be lost without it.
