Leo D'Caprio is excellent in this film. Fascinating and entertaining. A little long and uncomfortable for some, but a really great film :)

Chaplin (1992,  PG-13)
Chaplin 5.0 Stars
Excellent! :D An awesome cast and an excellent story! :) Robert Downey Jr. is awesome at playing Chaplin. While this is a great movie based on Chaplin's autobiography, I felt it was missing some of the deeper parts of Chaplin. He was a producer and director of his own films as well! While it is clear he is more than his slapstick character, I am intruiged at the purposes behind his ideas for his films which I felt this film only touched on briefly. But, I will guess I will have to watch his films to get more of an insight into that.

Wow! What a diverse, original and empathetic piece of work! I can see how this is not for everyone, but I certainly enjoyed how it mixed genres, made you wonder, had a fictional climax that kept you thrilled and still remained touching in its realistic side of subject matter.

Loved this!! Love the time period. the plot is super interesting about a screenwriter who gets into an accident and loses his memory only to find himself in a town where everyone thinks he is LUKE who has been gone for 9 years. Is he Luke? Meanwhile there is a historical illusion regarding how screenwriters were attached by government authority regarding their communist views. Very intersting and a charming tale! :)
