Review:
All i got to say is:oh my god, what a movie. This is most spectacular, brilliant and influential western movie of all time with non-stop action and legendary perfomances.I was never a huge fan of westerns(just my father)but after i watched The Good,The Bad and the Ugly,i got hooked to Spaghetti Westerns, the genre created by the legendary Sergio Leone. The unique style and visual of this movie influenced a lot of directors including Robert Rodriguez with Desperado and Quentin Tarantino with Kill Bill vol 1 and 2 but can never be equal to the master that is Leone.

Flixster - Share Movies

Clint Eastwood was absolutely amazing in the movie. He took once again his immortal role of Blondie, the most relentess and toughest gunfighter of the West. This is the role that made Eastwood the living legend that he is today, inspiring a lot of bad muthas in the silver screen.Nothing will beat Eastwood´s classic image with the hat, the cigar in the mouth and the gun in hand. Now that´s a badass in my opinion.I loved Lee Van Cleef in the movie as Angel Eyes.I first met him in Escape from New York but he´s a constant presence in the westerns. He will be always remembered as the West´s most toughest villain.

Sergio Leone is one hell of a director. He has such a unique style of filmmaking which is amazing. He´s the Kubrick of westerns in my opinion. The standoff scene between Blondie,Tuco and Angel Eyes is one of the best scenes of the film and also of cinematic history. That scene is so intense and spetacular and with Ennio Morricone´s amazing score makes it even more amazing. This movie grabed a lot and too bad they don´t make this kind of movies anymore. The Good The Bad and Ugly is the definitve western movie of all time and a landmark of cinematic history just like Raiders of Lost Ark for the adventure movies and Die Hard for the action movies.

This is no doubt of mind one of my favorite movies ever and i hope to see more Spaghetti westerns just as spectacular as this amazing masterpiece. The ultimate bad ass movie ever made by the master Sergio Leone.

Directed by:Stanley Kubrick
Cast:Keir Dullea,Gary Lockwood,John Ashley,Allan Gifford
Genre:Science Fiction
Year of release:1968
Runing Time:142 minutes

Plot:
2001 is a story of evolution. Sometime in the distant past someone or something nudged evolution by placing a monolith here on earth (presumably elsewhere throughout the universe as well) Evolution then enabled man to reach the moon's surface where he finds yet another monolith, one which signals the monolith-placers that we have evolved that far. Now a race begins between computers (HAL) and man (Bowman) to reach the monolith-placers, the winner will achieve the next step in evolution, whatever that may be.

Review:
I was interested to see 2001:A Space Odissey because i ve heard great things about this movie and also i m a huge Stanley Kubrick fan. When i first saw it,it was very hard to describe how did i feel because this movie blew me away and i was extremely focused(that rarely happens,actually).2001 is one of the beautiifull and visually stuning movies of all time and a landmark in science fiction. If you think that Star Wars was a revolution, think again because 2001 is a unique movie and personally no other sci fi movie will achieve perfection like 2001 did.

Flixster - Share Movies

2001 s plot is kind of simple. It starts right in the beggining of mankind back in the time of cavemen and monkey scene was phenomenal and takes to the year of 2001 where a man called Bowman explores space with his computer HAL.Keir Dullea is a actor i ve never heard before but he gives a great perfomance in this masterpiece.Bowman is very intelligent and at the same curious, questioning himself if there life way beyond space.2001 takes the audience to the a whole new world and the music is magical and envolving that grabed me in the first minute. The visual effects are the best i ve ever seen and a landmark back in the 60 s and a very original plot aswell.

Stanley Kubrick is definetly a master of cinema.2001 is the first and only science fiction but Kubrick managed to create a stunning masterpiece along A Clockwork Orange,The Shining and Full Metal Jacket.Kubrick s inspiration is very influential in other future sci fi masterpieces like Star Wars,Alien ,Blade Runner,Encounters in the 3rd Kind,ET and the upcoming Avatar.

2001:A Space Odissey is the most influential science fiction movie of all time and a stunning masterpiece courtesy of Kubrick that gained a special place in my life.Rest in Peace Mr.Kubrick.Your movies will live on forever and 2001 is no exception.

A Clockwork Orange
Appy-polly-loggies. I had something of a pain in the gulliver so had to sleep. I was not awakened when I gave orders for wakening.-Alex De Large

Flixster - Share Movies

Director:Stanley Kubrick
Cast:Malcom McDowell,Patrick Magee,Mihcael Bates,Warren Clark
Genre:Science Fiction,Thriller
Year of release:1971
Running Time:130 minutes

Plot:
Alex, a teenage hooligan in a near-future Britain, gets jailed by the police. There he volunteers as guinea pig for a new aversion therapy proposed by the government to make room in prisons for political prisoners. "Cured" of his hooliganism and released, he is rejected by his friends and relatives. Eventually nearly dying, he becomes a major embarrassment for the government, who arrange to cure him of his cure. A pivotal moment is when he and his gang break into an author's home: the book he is writing (called "A Clockwork Orange") is a plea against the use of aversion therapy, on the grounds that it turns people into Clockwork Oranges (Orang is Malay for "Man"): they are not being good from choice (sentiments later echoed by the prison chaplain). The film reflects this: many bad scenes in a Clockwork Orange are accompanied by jolly music; if we are to experience them as we should, we have to do it consciously, by realising they are bad, and not because the director tells us so through the use of music and images.

Review:
I didn t know what to expect about A Clockwork Orange because it looked such a violent and disturbing movie that bothered me at the beggining but as a Stanley Kubrick,i decided to watch this movie on TV and boy, this movie is absolutely stunning and it blew me away big time.A Clockwork Orange is one of the most shocking, disturbing, contorversial and definetly brilliant films of all time, showing a shocking vision of a futuristic and dystopic Britain.I really enjoyed this movie and i knew that A Clockwork Orange is a stunning masterpiece.

Flixster - Share Movies

Malcom McDowell delvers a stunning, disturbing but briilaint perfomance as Alex De Large.Alex is a young delinquent who loves to create havoc with his friends in the streets of Britain but he went too far when he accidentaly kills a woman with, well,a penis statue. He gets arrested and he is subimted into a behavior modification therapy that changes his personality and makes him a peacefull person but the modification will make a impact in his own life and existence.McDowell s perfomance is absolutely brilliant because he looks so damn scary but at the same time very vulnerable and realistic aswell. This is probably Malcom McDowell s most memorable and popular role yet.

Stanley Kubrick is one of the greatest directors of all time and i have no shame to say that.Kubrick shows all his brilliance and talent no making this amazing movie. The camera work is definetly one of the bests i ver ever seen in a movie that makes a Clockwork Orange such a enjoyable movie.

A Clockwork Orange is a stunning masterpiece and definetly Kubrick s most contorversial and shocking movie but is such a great movie and deserves the title of one of the greatest movies of all time.Masterpiece.

Review:
There s no other movie that changed the history of cinema and the culture like Star Wars did. This enjoyable space opera became one of the most sucessfull movies of all time and started one of the greatest sci fi sagas of cinematic history.Star Wars is a one impressive movie with revoluctionary special effects, memorable characters and of course,John Williams s fantastic score. The Empire Strikes Back may be my favorite but the original started everything and became a culture phenomenon.

Flixster - Share Movies

Mark Hamill is fantastic as Luke Skywalker because he starts to follow his heart and becomes a real hero with the wish to become a Jedi Knight.Hamill is such a fantastic actor and too bad Hollywood didn t appreciate his talent.I love him as Luke and i always will.Harrison Ford is so cool as the cocky and arrogant space pirate Han Solo.Harrison Ford started his fantastic career thanks to Star Wars and later with Indiana Jones and proved to be the actor that we love today.Harrison steals the movie big time.Carrie Fisher is soo lovely as Princess Leia. She s not just only talented but sexy and strong as well.Sir Alec Guiness is oustanding as Obi Wan Kenobi and he s indeed amazing. But who really dominates the movie is one of the greatest cinematic villains of all time:Darth Vader(with the fantastic voice of James Earl Jones).

George Lucas s direction was fantastic. He may not be a great director but he changed cinema with Star Wars.Lucas will always be remembered as the father of the culture pehenomenon known as Star Wars.

One of the most revoluctionary and fascinating sci fi movies of all time,Star Wars will always live on for more 30 years and won his place in the history of cinema as the film that changed the movie industry forever.

Review:
The Shining is one of the most scariest and intense horror films of all time.I m not a huge fan of the genre but The Shining made me see how good the horror films are.Based on the novel created by Stephen King(who didn t enjoy it),The Shining is more a phsycological thriller because is about losing your sanity and becoming a threat to your family and this movie explores very well the human insanity.Anyway, this movie is one of all time favorite and a powerfull experience.

Flixster - Share Movies

Jack Nicholson delivers one of the scariest perfomances and probably the best of his career as Jack Torrance.Torrance is not exacly your typical villain. He s just a regular guy who loses his own mind and tries to kill his own family.Nicholson is one of the best actors ever and there´s no person who could play that role better than Nicholson because he was scary but at the same time.He also creates one of his most famous quote ever:Heeeeeeere´s Johnny!!!.Shelley Duvall was a little annoying for me because she was a bitch to me.Always crying and screaming all the time.No wonder why Torrance wants to kill her.Danny Lloyd was kind of weird but scary too, specially in the Redrum scene. He was creepy as Jack is but in a nice way of course.

I absolutely love the legendary Stanley Kubrick. He was the main reason that i love the Shining. His direction is brilliant and intense at the same time.Kubrick is indeed the master of cinema and movies like 2001,Full Metal Jacket and A Clockwork Orange are other ounstanding masterpieces of this legendary director.

The Shining is a intense and unforgettable horror experience and of my faves of the genre along A Nightmare on Elm Street,Friday the 13th and The Exorcist.A masterpiece courtesy of Stanley Kubrick.

Review:
In 1977,Star Wars changed cinema forever and became a worldwide phenomenon.Now,3 years later, the battle between the Empire and the Rebel Aliance continues in The Empire Strikes Back, the second installement of the legendary space adventure trilogy. This was the first Star Wars movie i ve ever seen and made me enjoy the series.Empire is very different for the previous movie because while the first movie was a enjoyable space adventure movie, this one is very dark, strong and very emotional which are the factors i love in this amazing movie.

Mark Hamill gives a more mature perfomance as Luke Skywalker and he left his innocence behind thanks to the moments that will change him forever like his beggining of his Jedi training with Yoda and his first confrontation with Darth Vader.Mark IS Luke Skywalker and he was great in this movie.Harrison Ford brings once again his coolness on Han Solo but at same time gives such a great perfomance like always does. Before the massive impact of Indiana Jones in 1981 with Raiders of the Lost Ark,Ford left his mark on Star Wars and he´s the real hero of the series in my opinion.Carrie Fisher was absolutely stunning as Princess Leia but at same time very emotional.Frank Oz makes his first appearence in the series as one of the most important characters of the movie:Yoda, the legendary Jedi master that will train Luke for the the final battle against the Sith.Billy Dee Williams was great as Lando Carlissian but i didn t like when he double crossed Han Solo but David Prowse dominates as Darth Vader along James Earl Jones s fantastic voice.Vader is obessed to take Luke to the Dark Side of the Force and even with his shocking revelation,it wasn t enough to Luke accept to join Vader.Vader is one of the greatest cinematic villains of all time and he proves it in the movie.

Irvin Kershner directed masterfully the movie that the way George Lucas couldn´t never do and the script was well made. The Empire Strikes Back has the most emotional and memorable scenes of the entire series including when Leia says:´ I love you´and Han responds:´ I know´,which is such a beautifull moment of the movie and Darth Vader´s shocking revelation as Luke´s father, which is the best scene of the movie.

Personally,no other Star Wars movie can beat the Empire Strikes Back because is and still is the best Star Wars movie of all time and an excellent improvement of the original movie.Masterpiece.

With no doubt one of the greatest movies of all time and an absolutely phenomenal film.More than just a tribute to the 1930´s adventure serials,Raiders of the Lost Ark changed the adventure genre forever.I watched Raiders back at 2005 on DVD and it become my all favorite movie.Personally,no movie will beat this classic in my opinion and Raiders of the Lost Ark has everything i love in a movie:action, comedy, great scenes and a memorable character. This is the movie that will never die.

Harrison Ford delivers an amazing perfomance as Indiana Jones. He was born to play Indy.Ford gives the attitude, the personality and the charm that made Indy a legend and he also gives humanity to him on making his laughable fobhia of snakes very realistic.I love Harrison as Indy more than as Han Solo of Star Wars because he ´s so cool and he always gets in very diferent situations.Ford is legendary and Indiana Jones was really made for him. I love Karen Allen as Marion Ravenwood because she is the only woman that can handle Dr.Jones.Allen is a great actress and very strong as well.Paul Freeman is excellent as Indy s arch-nemesis Rene Belloq. What i love about Belloq is he knows Indy better than noboby and he ´s always one step of him.Belloq is the best villain of the series along Irina Spalko of the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.Ronald Lacey is preety damn scary as Toth,John Rhys Davies is so funny as Sallah and the late great Denholm Elliot is unforgettable as Marcus Brody.

Steven Spielberg´s direction made this movie a instant classic.I´m a huge of him since ever and he created such iconic scenes as the famous boulder chase which is the best action sequence of all time and my favorite scene ever.

The sequels may be good but Raiders is where everything starts.Like a rollercoaster,Raiders of the Lost Ark doesn´t stop every second and offers the audience a great time. The greatest action-adventure masterpiece of cinematic history, the adventure has now a real name:Indiana Jones.

Harrison Ford delivers a fantastic perfomance as Deckard, the ex-cop who is asigned to kill fugitve replicants.Ford confessed that Blade Runner is the most complicated movie he s ever done in his brilliant career.Deckard is very different from Han Solo and Indiana Jones but Harrison nailed the part perfectly. He gives such a charm and vulnerability to Deckard that makes his perfomance very realistic. For me,is Harrison s best perfomance and i couldn t imagine this movie without him.Sean Young is absolutely stunning as Rachael and her perfomance is preet decent. She s a mystery in the beggining because we question if she s or not a replicant. The chemistry between Deckard and Rachael is really electrifying and a must see aswell.Rutger Hauer is the best actor in the movie with his fantastic perfomance as the leader of the replicants,Roy Batty. That perfomance is truly deserfull of a Oscar.Hauer dominates the movie specially in his remarkable speech in the ending, probably one of the best endings ever made.Edward James Olmos didn t show up a lot but his presence is very powefull and so his perfomance. We also see Daryl Hannah for the first time as Pris but she was even better in Kill Bill,

Ridley Scott directs his most remarkable masterpiece, setting a new standard in science fiction just like he did with Alien in 1979.Scott directs masterfully this movie, showing a darker side of his personality that i could feel.Blade Runner shows how great director Ridley Scott is and he showed it with Thelma and Louise and Gladiator.

Blade Runner will go down in history as one of the greatest masterioieces of science fiction along 2001,Star Wars and Alien. This is such a phenomenal movie that will live on forever no matter how many years.Thank you Ridley Scott on creating one of the greatest movies of all time.Masterpiece.

Review:
Since i watched the fantastic new Star Trek movie directed by J.J Abrams,i realized that series isn´t that bad after all.So i decided to watch the original series and i started with Star Trek 2:The Wrath of Khan, which is in everyone´s opinion, the best of all Star Trek original films. When i first watched The Wrath of Khan,i got the feeling that it was amazing, brilliant and fantastic. The Wrath of Khan is most powerfull of the saga because is very emotional and dark as welll but at the same time is really fun to watch.I did enjoyed the new one but this is The Empire Strikes Back of Star Trek.

Flixster - Share Movies

I really enjoyed William Shatner´s fantastic and powerfull perfomance as Admiral James T.Kirk.Shatner makes us like Kirk because is so funny on dealing with his mildage crisis and very heroic as well.I gained respect for Shatner because he is the original Kirk and you got to respect the original.Leonard Nimoy is absolutely fantastic as Mr.Spock.Like i said before,Spock is my favorite character and i was sad because he dies in the end by saving the Enterprise.Spock´s death is the most powerfull scene of the movie and the sadest because is really hearbroken on watching Spock diyng.Ricardo Montalban will go down in history as one of the most charismatic villains of the series and of the history of cinema as Kirk´s most deadliest enemy,Khan.I really loved Khan because is a egomaniac baddie and also he is such a evil and menancing character.Khan dominates the movie from the beggining to the end, even when he is defeated,Khan is still evil. What a memorable role by Montalban(Rest in Peace).

Nicolas Meyer´s direction was fantastic and he shows what Star Trek is always meant to be.Along J J Abrams,he is the best director of the series, showing the true spirit of Gene Roddenbey s vision.

Star Trek 2:The Wrath of Khan is without doubt of my mind the greatest movie of the series and one of the best sequels ever made.Great masterpiece of science fiction.

Genre:Crime,Gangster
Year of release:1983
Running Time:170 minutes

Plot:
After years of diplomatic silence between the United States and Cuba, Castro opens the port of Mariel Harbor, Cuba, to thousands emmigrating to the United States in search of the American dream. Shrewdly, Castro also unlocks the overpacked prisons, allowing hordes of criminals to join the refugees. Tony Montana, a small time hood, is one of them. In Florida, Montana connects with gangster Frank Lopez, and guns his way through the sun washed streets of Miami where he finds power, wealth and passion. He kills Lopez and marries his mistress, Elvira. Montana, better known as "Scarface," soon becomes the leader of a bloody cocaine-smuggling empire but at a terrible cost to his sister, Gina and his loyal friend, Manny. However, like that of others before him, Montana's reign is brief and a violent end is guaranteed as rival gangster compete to become the next drug lord.

Review:
No movie has made a massive impact on myself like Scarface when i first saw it back in 2004.This is absolutely one of the greatest movies of all time and one of my personal favorites actually.Based on the 1932 gangster movie with the same name and directed by Howard Hawks, this version is even more violent and updated but briliantly directed by Brian DePalma with a intense script by Oliver Stone.Scarface is simply phenomenal and one of the greatest classics of gangster movies.

Flixster - Share Movies

Al Pacino delivers a amazing and oustanding perfomance as the ruthless and psychotic cuban gangster Tony Montana which according to Pacino,he was inspired from the original version.Tony Montana is one of the coolest and bad ass movie characters of all time because he´s very honest and loyal to his balls and word but his greed takes him to extreme actions that could make his own destruction.Pacino was phenomenal in the movie and perhaps the role is the most popular role of his career. Not a bad debut for Michelle Pheiffer. She was bloody gorgeous but i still prefer her in Batman Returns. One of the actors i liked the most was Paul Shenar as Alejandro Soza. What i like about Soza is that he´s a respectable buissenessman but he´s one relentess bastard if some one tries to double cross him.One of the scenes that i don t like at all is when Tony kills his best friend Manny right in front of her sister.I mean is shocking because i would never kill my best friend.

Brian DePalma is one of the greatest directors ever. His technique of filmmaking reminded me of Sergio Leone´s style specially in the close ups to the character´s face but he created a one hell of a epic gangster movie just like the Untouchables.25 years after the release,Scarface changed the culture forever and inspired a lot of hip hop stars to do whatever it takes to get to the top.

One of the greatest movies of all time,Scarface taught me a very important lesson:The World is Yours.A oustanding masterpiece of cinema that will live on forever in the history of cinema.

Review:
The final battle between the Rebels and the Empire colides in the Return of Jedi, the third and final part of one of the greatest sci fi sagas of cinematic history. What a brilliant ending for Star Wars because is an excellent mix between the excitement and action of a New Hope and the darkness and emoton of the Empire Strikes Back.Either way,is a excting and fun movie for the die hard fans of the series.

Mark Hamill is once again fantastic as Luke Skywalker. In this movie,Luke is more stronger and wiser and finally he s a Jedi Knight.Hamill s perfomance was amazing and emotional specially in the scene where Luke refuses to turn to the Dark Side.Unfortunately, this was the last time Hamill appeared on the big screen to dedicate to animation.Harrison Ford is cool as usual as Han Solo.Ford was great as usual and he has become a huge movie star thanks to Raiders of the Lost Ark and Blade Runner.Carrie Fisher was sexier than ever as Leia and in this movie focus a little more in the romance between Han and Leia.Ian McDiarmid dominatedsthe movie as the Emperor Palpatine, who is the real villain of the film.I couldn t believe he was 39 but he was so brilliantly evil and David Prowse was great as Darth Vader, who becomes more a victim than a villain.

Richard Marquand s direction was amazing and good as Irvin Kershner in the previous film but a little better than George Lucas. He managed to maintain the excitement of the first two movies and he did a good job.

The Return of the Jedi is an enjoyable ending for the series, remaining as one of the best threequels ever made.May the Force be with you.

Review:
Oh boy,i absolutely love Ghosbusters since i was a kid and 2009 is a year of celebration because one of the most funniest comedies of all time celebrates 25 years since it s release and Ghostbusters is one of those movies that will never die in my opinion. This movie is very remembered by his amazing cast, great special effects and Ray Parker s catchy song but if you want to some fun,who ya gonna call?GHOSTBUSTERS!!!!

Bill Murray steals the show as the funny but sarcastic Dr.Peter Venkman. Is really cool to see Murray at his best because he is one of the most funniest actors of all time.I can t stop laughing with him because that s impossible.Venkman may be interested in getting girls instead of catching ghosts but he s the heart and soul of the team and a natural leader.Dan Aykroyd is another comedy genious in the movie as Ray Stanz.I love his face expressions, freaking funny aswell.I loved Harold Ramis as the group s egged brained Egon Spengler.I had no idea tnat was him but even with his serious look,he is so amazing.Wow,i loved Sigourney Weaver as Dana Barret. She was great but she s even better in Aliens.Oh can t forget Rick Moranis as the retarded Louis Tully and the first appearence of two of the most emblematic characters of the movie:Slimer and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

Ivan Reitman is one of the best comedy directors of all time.He made Ghostbusters such a funny movie that the audience can have a great time and still today,Ghostbusters is such a phenomenon around the world that will never die and it will continue with the long awaited third installement.

Ghostbusters is still one of the most funniest, entertaining and spectacular comedies of all time, conquering audiences of all ages.Personally,it won t have another amazing comedy just as fun as Ghostbuster.A classic not only of the genre but of cinema history,Ghostbusters is one of the best movies ever made.

In 1984, a legend is born and the name is The Terminator. What a great start of one of the most legendary sci fi series of all time and boy this is one of the best movies of all time. The Terminator became a landmark of science fiction and 25 years later since it´s beggining,it still thrills the entire audience and no matter how great is Terminator 2,T1 started the unending battle between man and machine, becoming one of the greatest classics of science fiction.

Arnold Schwarzenegger became one of the most iconic action heroes of all time thanks to his amazing perfomance as the most deadliest killing machine of the future,The Terminator. He nailed the part perfectly and honestly no other actor would play the role.Arnie makes the Terminator such a dark, menancing and relentless character that it has no limits, feelings and fears. And of course one of the coolest quotes of all time is born:I ´ll be back.Arnold dominates the entire movie from the beggining to the end.Linda Hamilton gives a great perfomance as Sarah Connor.Yeah.she ´s kind of scary in the beggining but she becomes more stronger and tougher like in the second movie.Michael Biehn is great as Kyle Reese and he has a great presence in the movie.

James Cameron began his legendary career thanks to Terminator. He brings his amazing direction with energy and intensity, which would be his trademark in his next movies(Aliens,T2 and True Lies). The effects are great and cheesy but hey,it´s 1984.

One of greatest classics of science fiction,The Terminator is one of the movies that will never die and not even Terminator Salvation will beat this masterpiece. The Terminator is one of the most legendary science fiction masterpiece of all time and also one of the best movies of the 80 s.

Robert Zemeckis s direction is magical and he delivers an amazing energy in the movie that makes the audience watching Back to the Future over and over agan. The main star of the movie is definetly the time machine, the legendary Delorean.

To get rid of her recurrent nightmares about the alien creature, Ripley prepares for a final battle with the monsters - and this time, there are hundreds of them out there.

Review:
This time,it s war!!There are few sequels on movie history that can be even better than the original and Aliens is the right example.I always loved this movie because is an amazing classic and a an oustanding improvement of the original movie directed by Ridley Scott in 1979.While Alien is a scary space horror movie,Aliens is a spectcular space action movie with adrenaline, intensity and brilliance aswell. This is one of the best action movies of all time and one of the greatest sequels of movie history.

Sigourney Weaver delivers an excellent and improved perfomance as Ellen Ripley. She looks even better than in the first movie.Sigourney is one of the greatest actresses of all time and she s the original action lady of Hollywood.Ripley is one of my favorite movie heroes because she dominates a genre dominated by men but she left her mark as the most iconic female hero of all time.Ripley is much stronger in this movie because the events of the first movie affect her mentally but she faces her own fear like she knows best.Sigourney became a icon thanks to Ripley.Michael Biehn was great as Corporal Hicks but i like him more in The Terminator,Bill Paxton is soo cool as Hudson. He s the most coolest character of the entire movie and Jennette Goldstein is a badass as Vasquez.Carrie Hehn is so adorable as Newt and i love the scenes with her and Ripley .And of course, the aliens were fantastic and this movie marks the first appearence of the Alien Queen.

James Cameron is indeed one of the greatest directors of all time.He really directs Aliens with his signature and he makes a bigger and better movie than in the first one.Cameron is one of the best reasons that i love this movie and his other movies aswell and he will bring another masterpiece with Avatar.

The Untouchables is a incredible film and one of the reasons that atracted to watch this movie is because i love gangster movies and this movie is on the same level as The Godfather,Scarface and Goodfellas. When i was a kid,i got a litlle uncomfortable with the violence of the movie but now i m all grown up,i absolutely loved The Untouchables and the idea of one man has the courage to stand against corruption. The Untouchables is definetly a masterpiece and no other movie of the genre can reach the same level of Brian De Palma s crime epic.

Kevin Costner delivers an amazing perfomance as Elliot Ness, the federal agent who swore taking down Al Capone.Costner is perfect as Ness and proves to manage the role perfectly. What i love about Elliot Ness is the fact that he s a man with principles and rules but he soon realizes that the only way to face Capone is hunting down with no mercy. This is probably Costner s best roles but i m curious to see him in Dances with the Wolfes.Sean Connery gives a memorable perfomance as Jim Malone which earned him his first Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.Malone becomes not only a father figure but he s also the heart and soul of the group.Connery delivers here one of his best peformances of his career, proving that he s not only the best James Bond,he s one of the greatest actors of all time.Robert DeNiro was phenomenal as the legendary gangster Al Capone.I didn t recognize him but boy he was amazing.DeNiro is one of the greatest actors of all time and he shows here why.Capone is a little different of the other gangsters. He basically looks more a buisness man than a criminal.Well a honest criminal who won t hesitate to take down his enemies. The other actors were amazing including Andy Garcia as George Stone,Charles Martin Smith fantastic as Oscar Wallace and Billy Drago sinister as Frank Nitti,Capone s henchman.

Brian De Palma directs his ultimate film and probably the best movie he has ever done since Scarface.De Palma is a genious and he managed to create a memorable crime epic like he knows best with memorable scenes like the train station gunfire and of course Ennio Morricone s amazing score.

The Untouchables is one of the greatest movies of all time and probably of the 80 s.An american classic that will alwalys live forever as one of the most stunning crime epics of all time and i hope Mr.De Palma delievers more masterpieces like The Untouchables.Classic piece of cinema.

Bruce Willis delivers an oustanding perfomance as John McClane and he s not your regular killing machine like Schwarzenegger or Stallone.McClane is a regular guy like everybody and nothing goes right in his life.He s scared of flying, his marriage has collapsed and he s not dressed for the christimas party at the Nakatomi Plaza.I love Willis as McClane because he makes him such a nice guy but at same time heroic and a complete badass.Even in the moments of tension,John maintains his sarcasm and sense of humour aswell, which will be his trademark along the series.McClane will wish to spend a nice Christmas at home.Alan Rickman dominates the entire movie as Hans Gruber.I had no idea that was him when i first saw the movie but wow Rickman was phenomenal.Hans Gruber isn t the typical villain actually. He s just a guy with ambitions and he also has a sinister sense of humour.Rickman will go down to history as one of the greatest cinematic villains of all time.

John McTiernan directed the film with brilliance and control, estabilshing a great revolution in action movies.Die Hard gives a great balance between the action and comedy and few movies weren´t able to do it.

If you want a good example of an excellent action movie,Die Hard is the one.The greatest action movie of all time and also a classic of it´s own,Die Hard sets a new generation of action movies and deserves to be at the list as one of my all time favorite movies.

A decade after Sarah Connor destroyed the original Terminator, a second unstoppable killing machine arrives from the post-apocalyptic year 2029. But this time his mission is to stop an even deadlier Terminator, the T-1000 , made entirely of shape-shifting liquid metal and determined to kill young John Connor, the future leader of the human resistance. Sarah, John, and the Terminator counter by going after the scientist responsible for developing Skynet, the computer system fated to destroy humanity, leading to an explosive and spectacular clash with the fate of humanity in the balance.

Review:
Back in 1984,The Terminator became one of the biggest classics of science fiction and turned Arnold Schwarzenegger and director James Cameron to superstars.7 years after the first movie, the war against the machines continues in Terminator 2:Judgement Day,the follow up of the 1984 classic.I first watched T2 when i was 6 years old and is very special to me because is one of the most phenomenal, spectacular and brilliant movies ever made, proving to be by far more superior than the original.Where many sequels failed,T2 prevailed with a better storyline, improved special effects and amazing action and intensity.Terminator 2:Judgement Day is one of those movies that is impossible to beat.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is back(like he promised)as The Terminator but this time he s sent to protect the Connors.Arnold has proven that he s the greatest action hero of all time and he proves once again with his fantastic perfomance as Terminator.Like in the original,he s still deadly and unstoppable but he becomes more connected with the humans.Arnold is in my opinion the heart and soul of the series and he will always be the Terminator.Linda Hamilton also returns as a much stronger and tougher Sarah Connor and boy her perfomance is amazing.Sarah changed a lot since she survived the attack of the first Terminator and the birth of her son John. She looked like a pshyco in th beggining of the film but she becomes much stronger and determined to protect her son and gain his love.Linda was phenomenal and she was way better than in the first movie.Robert Patrick dominates the movie as T-1000.This new terminator is much deadlier and unstoppable than his predecesscor and looks preety undestructable.T-1000 s mission is to kill John Connor and nothing will stop him to achieve his goal.Edward Furlong was awesome as John Connor. He reminded me a little of Bart Simpson because of his sense of humour.Ed s perfomance was great because John is practically a target before he was born and becomes very strong to fullfill his destiny.

James Cameron delivers another spectacular ride like he knows best.Cameron is the only man who directed two sequels that are better than their predecessors(like Aliens). The action sequences are the best ever made in a movie and nobody knows action better than Mr.Cameron.

Terminator 2:Judgement Day is one of the greatest action movies of all time and a oustanding masterpiece and a excelent follow up of the first movie but way better than Rise of the Machines and Salvation.Masterpiece of James Cameron

Review:
The Shawshank Redemption is one of most beautifull and touching movies i ve ever seen in my life.I got the movie as a present of my French teacher and she said that i will enjoy the movie and she was right. When i first watched The Shawshank Redemption i just wanted to cry because the story touched me a lot and i enjoyed this amazing movie every second.I doubt that will make such a beautifull and inspiring movie as The Shawshank because this movie has a unique magic.

Tim Robbins delivers an amazing and brilliant perfomance as Andy Dufrense, who is accused to murder his wife and his lover.Andy is sentenced to 20 years in the Shawshank prision where he deals with the crooks, murderes and even the prision guards until he gets friendly to Red.What i enjoyed about Tim Robbins is the fact that makes Andy such a interesing person and gives great deepness in someone who is in prison but he never gives up hope and who wants to achieve his own dreams.Robbins s perfomance is worth of an Academy Award but he gets rewarded with his another great perfomance in Mystic River.Morgan Freeman is one of the best actors of all time and he shows here why as Red,an convicted who becomes Andy s best friend.Morgan s perfomance is absolutely great because Red is a guy who lived all of his life in prision that considered his house untill he meets Andy,he gets a new meaning in his own life,The chemistry between Robbins and Freeman is one of the best things of the movie because they are two guys who are trying a new meaning in the their life. The other actors were fantastic including Clancy Brown and Bob Gunton.

Frank Darabont directs this movie with such a brilliance and realism that made this movie a stunning masterpiece. His direction captured the story and the characters in a way that is overwellming.I m really curious about A Green Mile but this Darabont s best movie yet.

The Shawshank Redemption is one of the greatest movies of all time and personally one of my all time faves. This movie is so beautifull and inspiring that really touched in my heart and is inspired me to never give up in my dreams.Stunning mastepierce.

Plot:
Jack Traven and his partner Harry Temple are SWAT team explosives experts in Los Angeles. They're called in to free a group of office workers from an elevator that's trapped between floors in a downtown high-rise. Howard Payne, an explosives expert who used to be with the Atlanta, Georgia bomb squad, has promised that they'll all be blown to bits unless he's paid off. Traven and Temple rescue the hostages, but Payne escapes. Later, while Traven is out getting coffee in his neighborhood one morning, Traven witnesses a city bus explode, killing several people. Traven picks up a nearby ringing pay phone, only to hear Payne warn that another bus, filled with innocent commuters, has been wired with a bomb. When the bus reaches the speed of 50 miles per hour, the bomb becomes armed, and if the bus drops below 50 after that -- or if any passengers are taken off the bus, or if the ransom isn't delivered at the appointed time -- the bomb will explode. Traven alerts the bomb squad and goes after the bus, boarding it as it speeds through rush-hour traffic on a Los Angeles freeway. One passenger, a thug fearing arrest, pulls a gun and accidentally wounds the driver, so passenger Annie Porter has to take the wheel while Traven makes radio contact with headquarters and plans a rescue. Annie is perfect for the job too, because she is currently without her license because of a speeding ticket. The bus must be kept moving faster than 50 MPH, so it's given a police escort that clears the way until it can be rerouted onto an airport landing strip. Then Traven, Temple, and Payne begin a deadly game of cat and mouse. Temple tries to figure out where Payne is hiding, while Traven tries to figure out where on the bus the bomb is hidden and, once he finds it, he tries to figure out how to disarm it

Kill Bill was the movie that the movie fans were waiting back in 2003 because is Tarantino s fourth movie. When i first watched Kill Bill,i wasn t suprised on liking it because is a masterpiece and i m a huge fan of Tarantino.Kill Bill is such a spectacular and bloddy story of a woman who seeks revenge of those who left her to die.Very influenced by the martial arts of 70 s(specially by Bruce Lee movies),Kill Bill is one of the best action movies i ve ever seen in my life.

I absolutely loved Uma Thurman with her fantastic perfomance as The Bride. The Bride reminded of Clint Eastwood s Blondie in The Good,The Bad and the Ugly because she s a mysterious character.Uma is way better in Kill Bill than in Pulp Fiction because she really kicks ass in this movie.Probably her defining role.Lucy Liu was another sexy and deadly babe as O-Ren-Ishii,The Bride s first traget.I loved the scene where she cut the headed of one of the mob bosses. She was absolutely fantastic,at least better than in Charlie s Angels.Other actors were fantastic including Michael Madsen as Bud,Darryl Hannah was awesome as Elle Drive and of course the return of legendary actor David Carradine with his fantastic perfomance as Bill,The Bride s mentor and final target.

Quentin Tarantino delivers another great masterpiece.Like i said before,Tarantino is a genious and has proved with Reservoir Dogs,Pulp Fiction,Jackie Brown and the upcoming Inglorious Basterds. The action fight scenes are spectacular specially the famous showdown between The Bride and Crazy 88.

Kill Bill:Volume 1 is one of Tarantino s best movies along Pulp Fiction and a masterpiece of action movies. One of the greatest movies of 2003 along The Lord of the Rings:The Return of the King.

Robert Downey Jr.is absolutely amazing as Tony Stark aka Iron Man.He´s a great choice because he makes Tony such a sarcastic and funny guy but at the same time troubled and tortured.I really love the scene where Tony makes the armor and the hilarious tests as well.I couldn´t imagine this movie without Robert Downey Jr. because no other actor could make Tony Stark very realistic like Downey does. What a comeback for this fantastic actor and i hope to see more from him.Jeff Bridges was amazing as well as Obadiah Stane. He makes Stane a egomaniac and sadistic villain even when he puts the Iron Monger armor he is such a menace.I also liked Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts(god, she was so sexy)and Terence Howard as Jim Rhodes was great.

Jon Favreau´s direction is absolutely fantastic. He makes such a entertaining and funny movie on keeping the action and comedy together and the visual effects are spectacular, specially the scenes where Iron Man flies.

Iron Man is one of the best movies ever made and also one of the coolest comic book adaptations ever made along The Dark Knight and Sin City. While i m waiting for the sequel,I will not get tired of this spectacular rollercoaster that will please all the comic book fans.

James Gordon and newly appointed District Attorney Harvey Dent. But a new threat has now emerged into the streets. One represents the symbol of hope and uses his own shadow to bring the peace and order he has yet to accomplish doing.

Review:
I was very excited to see The Dark Knight because i enjoyed Batman Begins and it was great to see my favorite superhero back to the big screen in a huge way.I also was curious about Heath Ledger s perfomance as The Joker right after his shocking death. After i walked to the cinema,i wasn t excepting The Dark Knight to a be an oustanding masterpiece. This movie was definetly 2008 s best movie and puts other comic book movies to the shame because not only sets a new standard in the comic book genre but is such a phenomenal movie .This is the Batman i wanted to see and deserves to be on the list of the greatest movies of all time.

Christian Bale delivers once again a excellent perfomance as Batman/Bruce Wayne. His perfomance was fantastic, showing a more darker and tortured Batman while he tries to end crime in Gotham City and the same time his presence atracts a lot of freaks like the Joker.Bale is by far the best actor playing Batman since Michael Keaton and he is simply phenomenal.Heath Ledger (Rest in Peace)was absolutely amazing and phenomenal as The Joker.Ledger delivers one of the greatest and the most legendary perfomances of all time.He shows a Joker like we have never seen before:a dangerous ,maniacal and phsycotic criminal who doesn´t care about the money and also takes Batman to the limit. No disrepect for Jack Nicholson but Ledger gives here his finest perfomance ever and he totally deserved the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. And of course the rest of the cast were amazing including Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent aka Two Face and the lovely Maggie Gyllenhall as Rachel Dawes. She was way better than Katie Holmes.

Christopher Nolan is an amazing director. He has not done a bad movie yet and thank god for that.Nolan made a film much darker than the previous one and the script is amazing and of course maintains the spirit of the comic books.

The Dark Knight is one of the best movies i ever seen in my life and i m so proud of this movie just i m proud of Batman Begins and honeslty is very superior to Tim Burton s version. The Dark Knight proves that Batman is truly back and better than never.Thank Nolan and Bale and RIP Heath Ledger.

Suddenly, there is an emergency at Vulcan and the newly commissioned USS Enterprise is crewed with promising cadets like Nyota Uhura, Hikaru Sulu, Pavel Chekov and even Kirk himself thanks to Leonard McCoy's medical trickery. Together, this crew will have an adventure in the final frontier where the old legend is altered forever even as the new version of it is just beginning.

Review:
Star Trek is one of the most emblematic science fiction sagas of all time.I know Star Trek but i wasn t a huge fan because it was so damn lame and wasn t fun like Star Wars.when i heard of new ST film directed by JJ Abrams,i felt that is something special about this movie and i was right.Star Trek blew me away when i saw in the theaters and is one spectacular ride. Not only respects the legacy of the original series but takes the legend to a whole new direction.Star trek is the most spectacular sci fi adventure since the orginal Star Wars.

Chris Pine delivers an amazing perfomance as James T.Kirk, the legendary captain of the Enterprise.Pine was phenomenal and he s truly a great successor of William Shatner.I liked the idea of Kirk being a rebel and not a complete dork.Chris makes Kirk a cocky and reckless guy but he becomes a real man and a true leader aswell.Chris Pine is a great actor and he will definetly become a huge star.Zachary Quinto is absolutely amazing as Spock. He portrayed the role with the same class and talent of Leonard Nimoy.I liked the scene where he beats Kirk and he soon realizes that he s more human than vulcan.Zack is a talented actor and he s a worthly successor of Mr.Nimoy.Eric Bana was absolutely scary and intense as Nero.Nero is such a phsycothic romulan who wants revenge for the destruction of his home planet.I loved Bana in this film more than in the Hulk. The other actors were great including John Cho as Sulu,Zoe Saldana as Uhura(i m so in love with her),the hilarious Simon Pegg as Scotty and Karl Urban as Bones McCoy.It was great to see Leonard Nimoy back as the original Spock. He s truly the heart and soul of Star Trek.

JJ Abrams has done it again and he shows how a Star Trek should be done.Abrams managed to mix the excitement and fun of Star Wars with the realism and emotion of The Wrath of Khan.Abrams is truly a genious. The visual effects are amazing and Michael Giacchino s amazing score gives a great energy to the movie.

Star Trek is one of the greatest movies of 2009 and the best summer blockbuster of the year.I hope they makes more good ST movies as good as this one.Star Trek is back ready to boldy go where no other movie has gone before.Mastepiece of science fiction.
