Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus (2006,  R)
Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus
Exquisite, daring and original but it goes too far from reality without really illuminating the life of the mysterious photographer.

Robert Downey Jr. is a genius (then again, we all knew that already). Nicole Kidman's take on Arbus is both touching and compelling. However, I would have preferred a more realistic movie instead of a fable. Arbus' photos are very intriguing, but the film doesn't concentrate on her work. The film never really succeeds in diving into Arbus' mindset, it just scratches the surface.

A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints (2006,  R)
A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints
A lively and raw coming-of-age story that is a bit over-indulgent and slightly amateurish. It's always a pleasure to watch Robert Downey Jr. Also, the young cast - especially Shia LaBeouf and Channing Tatum - are convincing. However, the story and its characters are a bit too shallow, which prevents the audience from really caring for them.
111
Zodiac (2007,  R)
112
Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End (2007,  PG-13)
113
The Indian Runner (1991,  R)
114
Money for Nothing (1993,  R)
115
Golden Balls (Huevos de oro) (,  Unrated)
116
Fearless (1993,  R)
Fearless
Peculiar, deep, unforgettable. It dealt with fear of death and fear of life in a compelling way. However, the film was very slow paced too often. Sometimes things got a little too weird, which distracted you from the story. The ending was very heart-stopping.
117
Swimming with Sharks (1994,  R)
118
The Usual Suspects (1995,  R)
The Usual Suspects
Amazingly stylish, meticulous and elegant puzzle with exceptional storytelling. Bryan Singer's direction is on target and the cast nail their parts.

Kevin Spacey's subtle performance is mesmerizing and Benicio Del Toro pretty much steals every scene he's in.
119
Joyride (1996,  R)
120
Basquiat (1996,  R)
121
The Fan (1981,  R)
122
The Funeral (1996,  R)
123
Excess Baggage (1997,  PG-13)
Excess Baggage
I have one question: why was this film made? :D It's totally useless. Alicia Silverstone's character annoyed the hell out of me. There was nothing to help to relate to the character. I just wanted to reach out and hit her. :D Just watch this yourself and you'll get the same urge. Well, I guess the purpose is that she's annoying, but it just gets too distracting. And, well, TOO annoying. :D

The story was pretty pointless, boring and ridiculous. The execution wasn't spectacular either. The only thing I really liked was at the beginning when Benicio Del Toro's character steals the car. It was a well shot scene with good music.

Benicio was pretty awesome all the time. Well, he always is. The delivery of his lines and his body language were very amusing. Then again, I'm pretty biased when it comes to him. :P

There were some brilliant moments between Benicio and Chris Walken, but unfortunately their talents got wasted.

125
The Hunted (2003,  R)
126
Things We Lost in the Fire (2007,  R)

Amores Perros (2000,  R)
