What a piece of s**t!
I had kind of high expectations when I started to watch this, sine I love Sherilyn Fenn and Julian Sands otherwise. But this was just pathetic.
Julian Sands fails misserably at trying to speak with an american accent.
Sure Sherilyn Fenn looks hot as always, but that doesn't help much when you got a hack directing.

A good and interesting story that makes this an excellent adventure film.
Sure the special-effects may feel a little outdated if you compare it to monster-films of today, but who gives a f**k?!
Harryhausens creatures are awesome. Combine that with a great score and an outstanding cast and you'll end up with a most memorable film.

Takashi Miike's adaption of Akira Kurosawa's Yojimbo is nothing less than awesome.
If you want to see Quentin Tarantino once again prove that he is a lousy actor, this is for you. On the other hand, he is the only downside to this film.
The visual treats in this film are many. The set is fan-fucking-tastic and the score is ace. The best part though is that they are speaking jap-english!!
