Pride and Prejudice (2005,  PG)
Pride and Prejudice
Time and time again I choose Elizabeth Bennet as my favorite heroine, Darcy as my favorite leading man and Pride and Prejudice as my favorite movie.

This is by far my favorite movie of all time. Kieara Knightley is brilliant, and Matthew Macfayden is awesome! ( I got it on DVD this weekend).
2
Twilight (2008,  PG-13)
Twilight
I just saw this movie last night (11/22/08) lol and never have I been so in love and captivated by a film. Edward was everything and more than I expected him to be. I absolutely fell in love with the Bella. The Cullens were flawless and the villians (especially James) were brilliant. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect the film to be this perfect and riveting. To all who have not seen Twilight, I say: "Go see it, it will change your life!"

The Polar Express (2004,  G)
The Polar Express
It took me a long time to finally see this movie, but it was well worth the wait. I was glued to my seat for the entire duration; I did not want to miss a second. This is the sort of movie that shows you what Christmas is all about from the heart of a child. I was touched, truly touched and amazed. The Polar Express is a movie for everyone to see- young and old, whether you celebrate Christmas or not. It will really fill your heart with joy.

Persuasion (2008,  Unrated)
Persuasion
This puts a whole new meaning to the term "true love waits."

I think I like this almost as much as I like Pride and Prejudice. My lord it is a beautiful movie. My heart went out to them both, I think I might have died had they not ended up together. The kissing scene at the end is brilliant!
5
A Beautiful Mind (2001,  PG-13)
A Beautiful Mind
Every once in a while there comes a movie that reaches out and touches your heart beyond all reason and explanation. This is one of those films.Russell Crowe's performance as John Nash is stunning and heart wrenching. I have rarely seen an actor portray the life and mind of someone else so beautifully. This film has become an instant favorite of mine and an answer to so many of life's unanswerable questions.
6
Titanic (1997,  PG-13)
Titanic
ohhh Leo-deCaprio
7
The Painted Veil (2006,  PG-13)
The Painted Veil
I loved this movie, it touched my heart. Kitty and Walter's story is a beautiful and tragic one. A must see!
8
Atonement (2007,  R)
Atonement
I loved this movie so much. my girl Keira was in it , it wasn't overly dramatic and I loved the sad ending because it was realistic.
9
A Walk to Remember (2002,  PG)
A Walk to Remember
Sweetest movie ever. I think I cried.
10
Slumdog Millionaire (2008,  R)
Slumdog Millionaire
My best friend recommended this movie and she has never stared me wrong before and she didn't this time. This was one of the most interesting films I ever seen. The concept, the idea of destiny and knowledge coming from the live one has lived and not formal education or whatever is what I believed all along. I applaud the creator of this brilliant and touching film. Slumdog Millionaire relates to all of us, everyone should see it.
11
Revolutionary Road (2008,  R)
Revolutionary Road
I don't know what to say about Revolutionary Road. It is everyone's nightmare to get trapped in a life they dread. This is DiCaprio and Winslet together again for one of their finest moments. After seeing this film I was horrified and numbed. Revolutionary Road is startling, riveting, and a must see.
12
Nights in Rodanthe (2008,  PG-13)
Nights in Rodanthe
At first I thought this was simply another 'chick-flick', but I'm not exaggerating when I said I cried. How could a love so beautiful just vanish without any explanation or reasoning? I had never expected this film to conjure up such strong feelings within me, but it did. I was all at once amazed, distressed and enlightened.
13
The Magic of Ordinary Days (2005,  Unrated)
The Magic of Ordinary Days
Love comes softly, with a lot of patience, kindness and strong faith. Love will come.

Ray and Libby's story is one that is touching and absolutely beautiful. I felt both of their pain and rooted for them on their entire journey to love. I loved it!
14
Tristan & Isolde (2006,  PG-13)
Tristan & Isolde
This is so touching, and yet sad at the same time. I loved it.
15
Love Actually (2003,  R)
Love Actually
I think this movie is absolutely brilliant. In my head this is how love is; how it occurs between people. It isn't some grand-thing, it is chance occurrence that turns into something beautiful.
16
Something New (2006,  PG-13)
Something New
This was such a sweet movie. It reminds me of my boyfriend and I . Interracial dating can be difficult and even scary at times. But if you truly love the person it's worth it.
17
Love and Basketball (2000,  PG-13)
Love and Basketball
I used to hear people talk about this film back in middle school and I was always curious to see if it was really as good as they made it out to be. Well, I've seen it now and it is. I loved the beauty and simplicity of the plot and the characters. Two young lovers, bound by the game they both love- what more could one ask for?
18
In the Land of Women (2007,  PG-13)
In the Land of Women
This movie was all that I expected it to be and nothing at all like I thought it would be. I really enjoyed it. Adam Brody was brilliant, as was Meg Ryan and Kristen Stewart. It was a chick flick with actual substance and meaning. Truly worth watching.
19
Hope Floats (1998,  PG-13)
Hope Floats
I've seen this movie a couple times and each time it has been enjoyable. Sandra Bullock always makes her roles seem so natural and effortless that one cannot help but enjoy watching her. Having Harry Connick Jr and Gena Rowland tag along for the ride doesn't hurt either.
20
Becoming Jane (2007,  PG)
Becoming Jane
Anne Hathaway has definitely matured as an actor since her days on "The Princess Diaries." This was a brilliant film and I must say James McAvoy wasn't bad himself.
21
North & South (,  Unrated)
North & South
I really enjoyed this movie. It is such a timeless romance and so passionate. The only problem I have is that it ended so abruptly. I would have loved to see Thornton and Margaret marry and what not. It also needed a better explanation of their feelings at the end (like why was Thornton so happy at the station all of a sudden?) It was a great movie, except for the short ending
