This suvival-horror tale is full of suspense and gore to keep you glued to the screen! Although it varies from the graphic novel it's based on, it still manages to maintain the essence of the story. The vampires are brutally vicious and have no seductive or sexual appeal as the traditional vampire making them a menacing killing machine . Ben Foster's performance is short and sweet giving life to such a despicable and pitifully tragic character. Overall, this vampire movie is thrilling and stands out on it's own among such a prolific genre. Oh, and it's gory and bloody as hell!!
