Jeremy (1973,  PG)
Jeremy
When I always have a romantic mood during viewing, I find Jeremy as a quiet example of teen romance on how a boy meets girl, boy hangs out with girl, boy loves girl, and then...boy loses girl. Pretty sad, huh? Well, I can say this is quiet image of a character winning a girl's heart, even during a cello performance. It brings a good impression on me although teens today supposedly wouldn't find any interest for the lack of sex-related materials while grown-ups today could be wrong. And I wasn't alive in the '70s, yet I would find the film more sweet and innocent than nowadays. Featuring the great acting performances of Robby Benson as Jeremy Jones and Glynnis O'Connor as Susan Rollins.

Charlie Chan: The Scarlet Clue (1945,  Unrated)
Charlie Chan: The Scarlet Clue
This is a good mystery-themed film of the '40s era, and here in The Scarlet Clue Charlie Chan takes his case on soap opera radio. Black and white in quality.

Sometimes They Come Back (1991,  R)
Sometimes They Come Back
Sometimes They Come Back has a gang of high school hoodlums rising from the dead to finish the job on the teacher whose brother was killed in the past. It's a great horror tale of revenge.

The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (TV) (1998,  Unrated)
The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (TV)
As with the original 1974 film, armed men hijack a subway train and demand a million-dollar ransom for the passengers. But I knew there was something missing from Pelham 123...I have no idea. It's still an OK film.

Czlowiek z Zelaza (Man of Iron) (1981,  Unrated)

Never Say Never Again (1983,  PG)
Never Say Never Again
When I watched this I wondered if this title was officially ever part of the James Bond collection because the weirdest thing about Never Say Never Again is...I couldn't find it in the 007 reference guide. I was like, "What, no blood red-shot opening, no trace of the James Bond instrumental theme?" But with its release year the same as Octopussy's, it's still fun to watch, even with Sean Connery being too old to play the good-looking secret agent yet he can still flirt with the women. Here his assignment is to save the world from nuclear terrorists, with Largo, Blofeld, and Fatima bent on destroying the world. And 007 is not far from death due to very good action and fighting sequences. BONUS: In a secondary role that surprised me years before being Mr. Bean (oh my!), Rowan Atkinson makes a memorable appearance here. :)

Wargames: The Dead Code (2008,  PG-13)
Wargames: The Dead Code
Welcome to The Dead Code, the deadliest game you'll ever play. Will Farmer hacks into a restricted government defense system called Ripley, which is designed to appeal to potential terrorists, while engaging in an online terrorist simulation game in which his hometown is the target. But with his identity, family, and friends jeopardized, Will's only hope in clearing his name is to beat the odds of fighting Ripley in a race of time. He'll have to complete every level before Ripley unleashes total annihilation. Starring the great acting performanced by Matt Lanter, Amanda Walsh, and Nicolas Wright.

Originally made as a nuclear war simulation back in the 1983 original film, Wargames: The Dead Code now uses a similar scenario but uses terrorism by rogue groups in its place as its main plot, starting with Will's online gaming to win the prize money for a school trip. I can say that Matt Lanter does his great acting performance just as Matthew Broderick did with a matching role: the computer hacker. When the makers of this film do mention Ripley as its villain, it's obviously an Alien reference to me. And what about the "Play with me, baby" dialogue? It's repetitive, but it sounds too seductive-sounding. The new Wargames definitely does its great action sequences as our main character is on the run from the law, which made this exciting and unusual for the typical direct-to-video sequel.
