The Bourne Supremacy 4.5 Stars
It's not often that a sequel is even better than the original, but it does happen, and in this case, it most certainly does. The action gets right into it in this pulse-pounding spy thriller, having Jason Bourne on the run once again, still trying t...(read more) o figure out who he is and why he is being hunted. Non-stop action and suspense. A terrific ride.

Hellboy 3.0 Stars
I resisted seeing this movie for years, mainly based on the title. However, it is more of a fantasy than anything else. Straight out of a comic book, this very stylistic tale of good vs evil is amazing to look at to say the least, but lacks a real substance underneath. Worth seeing for just the visuals alone.

The Notebook (2004,  PG-13)
The Notebook 3.5 Stars
Nice love story set in both present and past times. The story does tend to drag in the middle, but redeems itself in the end. Contains quite possibly the saddest ending I have ever seen in a movie.

Ocean's Twelve (2004,  PG-13)
Ocean's Twelve 2.5 Stars
This sequel lacked the charm and the fun of the original. With basically the same plot and the same group of characters, it just doesn't hold up to their first outing.

The Terminal 4.5 Stars
This is one of Spielberg's best. Tom Hanks gives one of his best performances in this simple yet elegant film that documents the life of a man trapped at an airport terminal for almost one year. Beautifully written, this subtle masterpiece is definitely worth watching.
