Labyrinth (1986, PG)
SOOO AWESOME!!!This is definitely my favorite movie ever (aside from all the Star Wars movies) . To all you people out there who thought this was bad, you suck, The Labyrinth is amazing, it is wonderfully crafted!!David Bowie did a great job as Jareth the Goblin King. I was watching this for like the 12th time and my step-sister looked at me after David Bowie came on the screen and said " you know that's David Bowie right?" I just smiled and looked at her and said "why do you think I love this movie so much?"And seriously man...David Bowie is the definition of gorgeous!!!:)Jennifer Connelly is such a great actress. The music in this movie is wonderful, I get the songs stuck in my head all the time. Jim Henson was a genius, he was so very creative, he brought the magic of puppets to the world. This movie is awesome, I recommend it to people who like 80's movies, fantasy movies, or people who just like movies!!Cause you won't be disappointed with the sheer cleverness of Jim Henson's mind showing through this fantastic movie!!!"Don't say that truth hurts little girl...cause it hurts like hell"LONG LIVE BOWIE!!!!Its the 80's I know...it's got some cheesiness in it...but look past that and focus on the fantasy! |

Great movie, good storyline.I like mafia history..."I want his wife dead,I want his kids dead,I want his house burned to the ground!" 'You know what sport I like thats a team sport...baseball...well around here somebody hasn't been apart of the team"...as Robert De Niro savagely kills a guy with a baseball bat...ahhh good times...good times.:) |

Classic movie...another masterpiece of teenage life by John Hughes.:)I would love to be in a movie like this...I love the stuff that they go through...and I love it when they all start whistling that song...I also love this movie because of the drama that's in it...it's not over done and it's not grrrrr kind of drama...and I love it how the least likely couples end up together in the end..."Eat my shorts"!!!Great line. The quote by David Bowie in the beginning is one of my favorite quotes.GOTTA LOVE THE 80'S!!!!!!!! |
