Imaginary Heroes (2004,  R)
Imaginary Heroes 5.0 Stars
This movie is becoming one of my favorites. The plotline is great esp. Emile Hirsch's performance.
-------------
(Tim and Vern talking in a hospital patient lounge)
Tim: "What happened to you?"
Vern: "Well I've been trying to relocate to a higher plane of life, unsucessfully."
Tim: "You have to cut up and down not across."
Vern: "Yeah, if you don't mind bleeding slowly for five hours."
Tim: "Why?"
Vern: "Because there is nothing here that I even remotely care about. I've got nothing to fight for, and if I don't want to live here why should I have to, and I don't care how much better off I am than everyone else, thats not the point."
Tim: "I think you're my new hero."
Vern: "You know one of two things happen when you meet your heroes. Either they're assholes, or they're just like you are. Either way you always lose."

Me Without You (2001,  R)
Me Without You 5.0 Stars
The best thing I liked about this film was the soundtrack. ITS AMAZING! The plot was great, a bit intense. I found myself disliking Marina for the way she treats Holly. My favorite part in this film is when Nat hides where Holly is hiding while playing sardines and she frightens him. Its there that she admits, like him to her, she forms conversations with him in her head.

Marina (crying to Holly): "There's no me without you!"
------
Younger Marina and Holly screaming together: "Harina"

Stigmata (1999,  R)
Stigmata 5.0 Stars
I love this film. Gabriel Byrne is Great...i love him. The plotline is excellent. I have been facinated with Stigmatas when i read about Saint francis while studing Pope Gregory IX and the Crusades.
The soundtrack is also great. All the songs are awesome My personal favorites are DAVID BOWIE's "The Pretty things are going to hell" and "Indentify" by Natalie Imbruglia.---------
Frankie "Split a piece of wood and you will find me. Look beneath a stone and I am there."
