If its not the Aliens of the series it is at least the Ghostbusters II. AWESOME. silly moments with helicopters aside, this movie is way less cliche than the original and yeah. totally rocks.

and plus it doesnt totally rip plot elements off every cool sf book out.

It's got freakin' Harrison Ford in it. Up against Gary Oldman.

the Empire strikes back aside, the best sequel of all time. James Cameron rocks.

Fairly great rock 'n' road movie. some decent acting makes a fairly decent portrayal of bad politics.

"Its magical" - lovely.

So many drugs, but hilarous and awesome. the rotoscoping looks excellent and really sets the tone of the whole thing. woody harrelson was class. the RDJ was his usual smart fasttalkingness.

GODD STUFF

Jack Nicholson was awesome. perhaps a little too stylised on the whole tho, making it rather tedious for anyone wanting a shred of seriuosness.

much better than Burtons first outing. this is just about the least annoying Danny DeVtio has ever been. so yeah. that was nice. liked the atmospherics. and Tim Burtons signature snow. always a crowd pleaser, that stuff.

Wow. this is great. really quite enjoyable. Its pretty much what star wars couldve been like without the force. kind of. really well thought out.

this movie is awesome. its just so new zealandery. the greenies were hilarious, the sheep were vicious and the plot was fallacious; brilliant.

the making of feature is pretty entertaining also. looks like they had heaps of fun.

the best SciFi movie of all time. established the look of the future, imitated constantly.

can you think of a downside?

very stylistic. keanu is more wooden than any stake.

a really nice bit of work, some solid direction and a grrreat cast come together really well.

one thing i learned tho; dont ever describe it as a high school detective movie. it does Brick a gross injustice. if you get the idea... kinda.

SEQUEL, GOOD.

awesome movie. better than the terrific original in so many ways. its just disappointing james whale didnt get another chance to make more movies like this.

my only complaint would be the lack of the titular charachter. shes only in the last 3 mins. classic look but still, a bit of a waste.

Oh yeah. Awesome movie. i think the setting was the best aspect. its really absorbing. itll be very interesting to see ow the production design dates... some nice plot things going on too. although some of the motivations were a little under explained.

pretty good. but man, everybodys smoking. all the time. ive never really noticed it like that before. but yeah.

i like that bandage. its niice.

Possibly the best zombie movie ever. Beats the remake. Great effects. Headshots galore.

Quite a patchy piece of work. there is a lot of the usual Tarantino sitting around talking. which is allright. but then its starts to drag. which is a shame. but never mind that, its all quickly forgotten when everyone goes nuts on the road. AWESOME.

That is some mad action. Zoe Bell was awesome.

Hardcore. this movie is relentless. callahan just keeps on with the solid grittiness that pretty much sums this movie up.

Hilarious.

entertaining and watchable. a classic in every sense. neverltheless it is thouroughly let down by some terrible bats and two inexplicable armadillos. what kind of in-joke is that?
...oh and look out for lucy's plot hole. shows what happens when you make a movie based on a play based on a book and have a director that hates.

heh. this is very interesting. some of the acting is 'orrid. thought reinfeild was more good-er than the one from the english language one.

If you can endure and follow the first hour of the alan smithee cut the rest is awesome. otherwise its all a little pointless. doesnt quite do the book justice but it was back in the day...

Not quite the ultimate masterpiece i had expected. not that its bad, on the contrary it is wildly entertaining with plenty of crazy stuff going on to keep it interesting. some nice effects and a great setting. Lee Van Cleef is awesome.

Oh man. its like Ghostbusters but with serial killers and Michael J Fox. the NZ locations are so obvious and funny if youve been there. yeah. pretty good. its no braindead.

The trailer claims it has better effects than hollywood. and it delivers.

It still looks awesome with some of the most convincing miniature sets ive ever seen.

the plot is delightfully insane. everything stays just on the right side of cliche.

And then, of course, there is the subtext.

Its all fairly obvious.

this thing is great. great bond. great evil plot. great.

10 points. hands down. massive. oh so massive.
