I'll never understand why so many people laud this sappy, melodramtic piece of shit.

I'm not a gushing fan boy of Frank Miller, I firmly believe he's a hack, except for Batman:Year One and The Dark Knight Returns. It's all style and and no substance, something you can expect from Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller. It might be the most faithful comic book movie of all time but it's certainly not the best.

Finally, somebody agrees with me on Good Will Hunting.

I'm with you on The Birds and Crash, but the rest I either don't agree with or haven't seen. Gump gets a little too much love, but Gary Sinise and Tom Hanks are both excellent in it. The screenplay panders to Baby Boomers through most of it, but there are great moments to be found... and Zemeckis has an eye for visuals. I found the newsreel splicing to be better in Woody Allens Zelig, to be perfectly honest.

OK. Most of these movies I haven't even seen, but I love old shows like "It's a Good Life", and I like John Wayne. I'm with you on "The Nightmare Before Christmas" though. And Rocky must be really bad, but I've never seen it.

Just because you hated it, it doesn't mean that it's overrated.

You should at least state WHY you hate so many movies. With such an "expansive vocabulary," I wonder why you don't comment all of the listed movies. Hmmm? And I bet you don't even know about the allegory in "Ladri di Biciclette." Ignorance is bliss.

Well he probably doesn't even care about the allegory if he doesn't like the movie. Your ignorance is shining like a beacon for all to see, my friend OMG222.
