i cried at the end~British film---a totally different way of stating the story but deep reflection and understanding of humanity, yes, humanity~what a pity for Cee and Robbie....i 'm always feeling terribly sad for two persons who love deeply with each other but cannot get together in the end, much more because of being treated unfair and unjust~OMG...sad..but it was history and life~ |

Life will tell us everything~i love one of the comments left in a Chinese forum about this movie:ai dao fen li cai xiang yu(i just can't type chinese,oh...),which means they begin to know each other until they are going to say goodbye to each other, love from both of them comes too late~~ |

P.S. I Love You (2007, PG-13)
it's good as a whole. But actually i don't think it's may a right choice to put Hilary Swank as the actress of heroine... She is good, acts pretty well ,but still some weird feelings on the part of her even if she wears colourful or very "art" clothes in the movie, also has that kind of husband, everybody said she is hot or attractive...i mean she is just not the type....ok, never mind. |

yes it's a little bit hard for me to understand...but i know it's sth like fairy tale, a adult's, and the most beautiful one. Dad lived all his life in his own fairy tale, he is therefore happy , even simple and pure to the world. But what makes him so? what let him wanna live in a fairy tale?it's what i'm not clear about...any way, it should be a kind of movie of Tim Burton's...understandable:)~ |

Accepted (2006, PG-13)
You know what, we have to remember this, it's incredible----Bartleby Gaines: You know what? You're a criminal. 'Cause you rob these kids of their creativity and their passion. That's the real crime! Well, what about you parents? Did -did the system really work out for you? Did it teach you to follow your heart, or to just play it safe, roll over? What about you guys? Did you always want to be school administrators? Dr. Alexander, was that your dream? Or maybe no, maybe you wanted to be a poet. Maybe you wanted to be a magician or an artist. Maybe you just wanted to travel the world. Look, I - I - I - I lied to you. I lied to all of you, and I'm sorry. Dad, especially to you. But out of that desperation, something happened that was so amazing. Life was full of possibilities. A - and isn't that what you ultimately want for us? As parents, I mean, is - is that, is possibilities. Well, we came here today to ask for your approval, and something just occurred to me. I don't give a shit. Who cares about your approval? We don't need your approval to tell us that what we did was real. 'Cause there are so few truths in this world, that when you see one, you just know it. And I know that it is a truth that real learning took place at South Harmon. Whether you like it or not, it did. 'Cause you don't need teachers or classrooms or - or fancy highbrow traditions or money to really learn. You just need people with a desire to better themselves, and we got that by the shit at South Harmon. So you can go ahead, sign your forms, reject us and shoot us down, and do whatever you gotta do. It doesn't really matter at this point. Because we'll never stop learning, and we'll never stop growing, and we'll never forget the ideals what were instilled in us at our place. 'Cause we are SHIT heads now, and we'll be SHIT heads forever and nothing you say can do or stamp can take that away from us! So go! |

Passengers (2008, PG-13)
not much of feeling at the beginning when i saw the ending, and actually i have to admit that.....yes i did't even understand it at all ! So then i searched some comments and articles about it, and finally i got that it's about a story which was told in other world---the one where dead people live, and Claire is also one of the accident victims of the air carsh....Eric and Claire were on that plane which was down at last. They sat together and had good time talking with each other, everything is on their way to come out a beautiful crash between two young guys. But destiny didn't give them a chance to make these happpen, they all dead in the air carsh. However, Claire didn't want to accept this fact , so just as what Eric said at the end of the movie, all people who loved her came back to help them through,to help her face everything and continue to lead a good life in her "new" world.....OMG this movie is so different. When i was a kid, i always hope that there is indeed an other world existing for dead people, so that i will not be lonely or feel cold after my death, caz i still have friends and families there, so i will have nothing to worry about now and also won't afraid of death. So when i figure out what this movie's "story" is, i was surprised that someone had already made my very personal thought real in a movie! It's always happy to know that someone else in other part of the world has the same idea with you,it seems like they can read your mind.... |

Revolutionary Road (2008, R)
People live on hope and confidence ,right? i can understand April's feeling of despair...Dreams are good things, but trust me, when you are having it, during your grown-up, there must be someone who is gonna to tell you what is life, what is reality ...of course it's not their fault, cause there have already been told what life itself is....Hope and despair, life and dreams, what these matches! how magic they are! |

Leaving Las Vegas (1995, R)
2 desperate people, one love between a drunkard and a prostitute... why we have to clear the reason if they are such despairing like what is showed in the movie? The filmmakers just want to tell us they....are.... indeed very hopeless, they are both, that's why Sera and Ben choose each other in the end..... Despair, i know it very well... |

Sideways (2004, R)
It's the Best Writing and Adapted Screenplay in Oscar in 2005, and tons of recognition had been giving to this movie all the time. But actually i have no special feelings about it, i'm totally out of wine-lovers. But there is sth i want to write down here, some film review i saw from chinese movie-lovers----the way they taste wine is the way they treat their life. At first Miles don't know how to taste life but wines, but from being knocked at the door in the first scene of the movie to actively knocking other's door in the last scene, Miles finally step much forward and begin to learn "taste" a better life out of his wine bottles. |

He's Just Not That Into You (2009, PG-13)
This movie is not what i was expected it supposed to be, i mean i thought i'll put it under my "My Favorite Movies" list, but actually i'm not. It tells about relationship between men and women. oh here is the very end words, i like it----"Girls are taught a lot of stuff growing up: if a guy punches you,he likes you. Never try to trim your own bangs, and someday you will meet a wonderful guy and get your very own happy ending. Every movie we see, every story we're told implores us to wait for it: the third act twist, the unexpected declaration of love, the exception to the rule. But sometimes we're so focused on finding our happy ending,we don't learn how to read the signs, how to tell the ones who want us from the ones who don't, the ones who will stay from the ones who will leave. And maybe this happy ending doesn't include a wonderful guy, maybe it's you, on your own, picking up the pieces and starting over, freeing yourself up for something better in the future. Maybe the happy ending is just moving on. Or maybe the happy ending is this: knowing that through all the unreturned phone calls and broken-hearts, through all the blunders and misread signals, through all of the pain and embarrassment, you never, ever gave up hope. " |

Feeling Minnesota (1996, R)
Again!! It's not like what i thought before!! Weird movie...Direcotr maybe have a different but weird way to express love, anyway it's not what i like and understand...oh my Keanu, it's just so weird to see you have that passionate sex with Cameron in the movie, you know that? It seems that you don't that fall in love with her but you have sex with her, and heatedly!weird, weird, weird!! Yes today's topic is WEIRD! |

It's about relationship & love between sisters. But actually what impressed me most is the beauty of Cameron, she is just incredible at that time! The movie is so-so,just a normal one. Oh by the way, am i too harsh if i wanna say that i really think the older girl Rose is ugly? Because i indeed think so... |

The Family Man (2000, PG-13)
Nicolas Cage, a very special man, forever like a riddle for me. This movie focus on choices. "what f i chose that one, who i'm i now, and what i'm doing now..." "If i didn't go to London at that time, what will we be like today..." some "if" things like that...yes i always think about this too. we always love to think about what everything is life if we make the other decision in the past. but there is no things for regret unfortunately. Jack just think about past, and the movie make him in a that life of his another choice 19 years ago----a common middle-aged man as a tyre-seller with a great family especilly a fabulous wife as well as friends, but just without money. they are not rich but have love in life. A successful fanancial leader Jack have everything but love, that's the difference. Life is never perfect, but this is it, real life... |

The Edge of Love (2008, R)
don't understand, don't understand, don't understand! I know the problem is mine. It's a story of British poet Dylan Thomas, who is very talented at his poem but have very jumbled private life with 2 women---Vera and his wife Caitlin. Vera and Dylan know each other when they are kids. They had love, yes they had,but just on the beach of 15-year-old. Dylan married Caitlin,Caitlin loves Dylan very very much, Vera fall in real love with William, but for Dylan, his love is alway a mess. He pays all happiness, normality of life to his talent as a poet, that's the way i believe in which masters or great people can be somebody in human's history, that's why they are special, that's why they are so different from us,everything is not for free, you have to pay for that. |

Rumor Has It (2005, PG-13)
I only want to say---Jennifer gets very nice figure, all the time these years!!! And also the actor who confussed her(Sarah),her mother and her grandmother,Kevin Costner,is very very charming in the movie even if he is not young any more! He has good figure too and gentleman temperament ,which impressed me a lot. |

Fireflies in the Garden (2008, R)
It's slow, hard to understand and focus on, so it's to some degree boring to me...But Ryan Reynolds, he is handsome to death!!!! The movie goes about a strict and even almost mental-disordered father, a sweet, generous, dedicated mother and a poor boy Michael with miserable memory of childhood. "Michael Taylor (Ryan Reynolds) is an author who has channeled his painful childhood memories into his novels. With some reluctance, he is flying home for his mother Lisa's (Julia Roberts) college grad...( read more )uation. After a lifetime of putting everyone else first, stroking her husband's (Willem Dafoe) massively insecure ego and raising her children in spite of that, it's Lisa's turn. What should be a moment of great celebration turns into a tragic reunion when Lisa is killed in a car accident, leaving father, son and family to pick up the pieces. While preparing for their mother's funeral, memories are relived and secrets are revealed which will test the family bond. After a childhood of hiding in his father's shadows, protected by his mother, Michael must confront his past and find an understanding of his family, his father and himself." How terrible a father the man is! What a lovely mom for Michael ! But things turn into a bigger tragedy with his mother's death, michael's angel finally leaves him and flies away...Even though, everyone has to learn face, to face life,to move on... |

Wicker Park (2004, PG-13)
I like this one even if i was totally confused for quite a period of time in the beginning because it makes a different order of the story...Josh Hartnett, this could be the first movie that leads me to this handsome guy, because in fact when i saw Pearl Harbour, i even didn't know his name, and at that time i remebered it seemed that i put more attention to Ben Affleck lol... Josh is very different, his eye,his face, but still very american. Love is....sth can drive people lose their mind, and that's where betrayal comes from...sucks but understandable. |
