This is one of the most badass films of 2007. Bale and Crowe play great off of each other, but Ben Foster, like in any film he is in, overshadows them by far. Really small part for Luke Wilson, more of a cameo actually, and Peter Fonda does a good job at playing a character we're supposed to hate.

Wow, just wow. This is one of the most amazing films I have ever seen. Paul Thomas Anderson'd directing was phenomenal, and Daniel Day Lewis delivered one of the best performances in any film to date in my opinion.

Stylish movie based off the classic tv show of the same name. Directed by Clark Johnson, with the screenplay written by one of my favorite writter/directors, David Ayer. The movie is about a S.W.A.T. team who has to transport an international criminal. Colin Farrel, Samuel L. Jackson, Michele Rodriguez, LL Cool J, Josh Charles, and Brian Van Holt play the characters who consist of the team. The team have to transport an international criminal played by Oliver Martinez into federal authority, while facing a great struggle because the criminal has stated to a reporter that he would give one hundred million dollars to whoever would free him. Jeremy Renner plays a former S.W.A.T. member, who was Farrell's old partner, who was discharged for misconduct. Renner takes up the criminal's deal by helping him escape from the law, and back to his own country. Ashley Scott plays Farrell's girlfriend, and Ayer has once again cast Noel Gugliemi, but this time as a prisoner. Character actor Ken Davitian play's the criminal's uncle, and the criminal's assisstant is played by Dominic Lombardozzi. The Bishop Don Magic Juan has a brief cameo. The director of the movie makes an appearance as LL Cool J's partner, and the original S.W.A.T. leader from the classic t.v. show as a S.W.A.T. truck driver. The music was one of the highlights of this film. Alltogether a fun action flick that requires hardly any thinking.

This movie had me the moment I saw the trailer. While the movie itself was good, the trailer was even better, it is one of the best trailers I have ever seen, the way they edited it together with "Put you on Game," by Lupe Fiasco playing throughout was amazing. But enough about the trailer, I'm reviewing a movie here. The film started out great with a nice feel to it, and kept that feel to it throughout, yet at about halfway through they tried to cram in too much story in too little time. The character building was lacking, and the scenes kept changing so rapidly, everything is happening so fast that if you aren't paying attention you will miss something, like the also recent "Vantage Point." The film starred Keanu Reeves as the main protagonist, who is part of a team consisting of Amaury Nolasco, John Corbett, and Jay Mohr. They are all headed by Forest Whitaker. Together their team cleans up crime in LA, whether they have to plant or destroy evidence, they get the job done. Chris Evans, Martha Higareda, Cedric the Entertainer,Hugh Laurie, Naomie Harris all have major roles. David Ayer also cast his usuals, mainly Terry Crews and Noel Gugliemi, but also Cle Shaheed Sloan, Kenneth Choi, Michael Monks, and Emilio Rivera. Rappers "The Game" and "Common" both are key characters in the film, and very good acting on Common's part. I also recognized Jernard Burks from "Four Brothers." With all the faults in mind, I still would have to give this movie an 8/10, it was very entertaining, and the lighting and cinematography were superb.

WOW! I went to see this today after watching "Street Kings," and was completely blown away. The trailer for Street Kings was better than the film itself, but in this case, In Bruges was better than the trailer had led me to believe. The film was AMAZING. Definitely my favorite film of 2008 so far. The preview made it seem like a dark comedy and nothing more, but it had alot of substance, character development, and a great story. The film was directed by Martin McDonagh, who in 2007 made Six Shooter, a film with Brendad Gleeson which one an oscar for best short film. Because of it's success, this film was able to be made. The ending was fantastic, very dramatic, and the music in the main chase scene at the end was gripping. It is a tragedy film, with comedic elements, all well brought to the screen. It stars Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson as two hitmen waiting in Bruges for a phone call from their boss, played by Ralph Fiennes...they are out at the pub when he calls, after he specifically told them to be at their hotel, and he gets very upset. Then a series of events transpire and everyone has to make a choice.

A great british caper. This film is based on the true story the most infamous bank job in history, ammounting up to more money stolen than The Great Train Robbery itself. Jason Statham and Saffron Burrows are the two lead stars.

Very entertaining thriller that fells like a Bourne movie at times. The film starts out with the President getting shot, followed by two bombs exploding. The film then rewinds 23 minutes back, and shows the event from the vantage point of Dennis Quaid. We then see four other vantage points, but here's the catch, each time the film rewinds 23 minutes back, so we keep seeing the same event happening from different places, and each time we learn a little more of who is bad, and who is good. The movie rewinds 5 times, each time from a different character's person's view. They are: 1.Dennis Quaid, 2.Eduardo Noriega, 3.Forrest Whitaker, 4.William Hurt(The President), and 5.Saïd Taghmaoui, Edgar Ramirez, Ayelet Zurer, and Matthew Fox(The last rewind has four vantage points.) Sigourney Weaver and Zoe Saldana both work for the News, and Bruce McGill and James LeGros both work for the president. It starts out very nice but then at the conclusion things start happening extremely fast and it's possible to miss something if you're not paying full attention. Alltogether a very entertaining movie done in a very unique way.

WOW, that's all I have to say. I just got back from the movies, I went to go see Iron Man for a second time, and there was a room that said *SPECIAL SCREENING* and oddly no one was guarding the door. I walked in the theater, sat down, and waited for about 20 minutes, then people started coming in. I had no clue what the film was, when it started rolling I recognized the first scene as that from the scene attached to the "I am Legend" showings in IMAX last year. My mouth dropped, I couldn't believe I was actually watching the new Batman film. I won't ruin anything for anyone but let me tell you that the ending has some of the most insane stunts and visual effects you will EVER see. What a badass movie, even better than Batman Begins. Heath Ledger is AMAZING as The Joker. Christian Bale was great as usual, and the action scenes are incredible.

A thouroughly enjoyable popcorn flick. This movie has some AMAZING special effects, and great visuals. The race sequences are almost all CGI, except for the drivers themselves. If you are looking for just a fun time at the theaters then go see this. Matthew Fox as Racer X is very cool as well.
