movies i need to see

Darren Aronofsky labors awfully hard to get across a pretty simple message in The Fountain. But his efforts are so ethereal and extreme, it's almost impossible to turn away.

i saw this film and was not impressed. Wow are we really surprised to find out that the media are being owned by fewer and fewer people or corporations? Nooooooo! what was even more funny were the reactions the directors (artists..sorry) had when their films were given an NC-17 rating.An NC-17 means no Ad dollars from the promoters. They really do believe they live in a free world where every idea they have they can just put it up on the screen. The truth is they can put any idea up on the screen, but with an NC=17 rating ahhhhh no advertising dollars and no marketing. they must edit some of their work (film) to achieve an "r" rating. So what? they'll still come out with non-rated version on dvd and we all can see their vision pure and in it's original form. kerby Dick is a whiner.

it's just like reality: only in your dreams do you get the girl. A strage film, but an entertaing one. cool camera work. the story is a little wierd, a little more was needed i think.
