Predictable throughout, and the plot was lacking. This movie could have been so much better, We Own the Night felt like Phoenix and Wahlburg were going for a departed part II but less complicated. On the lighter side of things, Duvall was great as usual and Phoenix and Wahlburg deserve mention as well. Enjoyable watch if you want to watch what we have already seen in many other movies as of late. |
