1
Office Space (1999,  R)
Office Space
If I don't review the movie...I'll I'll burn the website to the ground. Great stuff from Mike Judge. He especially hit spot on with the little manboy waiter who was sooo annoying. The movie acurately depicts the doldrum existence suffered by workers who have too many bosses and much too much work. I'm not sure if you got the memo...its a great movie.
2
The Princess Bride (1987,  PG)
The Princess Bride
One of my three "date movies" in my collection. Mandy Patinkin gives and awesome performance as well as does Andre the Giant. A movie romantic enough for the girl and funny enough for the guy.
3
Happy Gilmore (1996,  PG-13)
Happy Gilmore
My favorite Adam Sandler movie. It was one where he didn't costar with Drew Barrymore, and didn't act like a goofy version of Lenny from Of Mice & Men.
4
The Breakfast Club (1985,  R)
The Breakfast Club
Are you kidding? Someone asks me, Hey Tony, what was "the" 80's movie. It has to be The Breakfast Club. This was the first video I ever rented, and I did so at the appliance store we got our VCR from. This movie is good because it is STILL relevent. Everyone who watches it sees their highschool years and can pinpoint exactly who in their class each of the characters were. John Hughes' best contribution to movie history.
5
Lucky Number Slevin (2006,  R)
Lucky Number Slevin
I hate Josh Hartnett. I dig Lucy Liu. And it is my belief that Bruce Willis is this generation's John Wayne. Besides all of that this movie came off great because Hartnett was really good, Willis was underplayed, and Lucy was fashionable window dressing. This movie deserved better than what it got.
6
The Prestige (2006,  PG-13)
The Prestige
I cannot gush over this movie enough. Just wow. Wonderfully acted by Jackman and Bale.
7
Batman Returns (1992,  PG-13)
Batman Returns
Batman....good. Catwoman....purrrfect.
Penguin....What in the name of ? What was Tim Burton thinking? Penguins with rocket launchers, while funny, are a lame villian mechanism. Okay sequal and at least there is no Val Kilmer.
8
Phone Booth (2003,  R)
Phone Booth
Very Hitchcockian and the end is a suprise. Otherwise no breakout performances, but a well executed concept.
9
Blade (1998,  R)
Blade
The first one was good. One of Wesley Snipes roles where he is the good guy that doesn't suck. Stephen Dorff was excellent as the upstart vampire as well. Kristofferson was a hoot.
10
Unbreakable (2000,  PG-13)
Unbreakable
Well thought out. Well plotted and shows a unique understanding of the relationship between good and evil. Also everyone gives an outstanding performance.
11
The Last Boy Scout (1991,  R)
The Last Boy Scout
This movie is my favorite action movie. It almost plays as a parody of the Die Hard films.
12
Road House (1989,  R)
Road House
One of those movies you break out when the guys are over. Loaded with machismo and stupid attitude. Kung Fu fighting with a feathered highlighted mullet? Whats not to love?
13
Kids in the Hall - Brain Candy (1996,  R)
Kids in the Hall - Brain Candy
Most comedy troops don't translate well to screen, but Kids did an exceptional job.
14
Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie (1996,  PG-13)
Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie
This movie is a big laugh from begining to end. My friends and I quote it like dorks.
15
The Phantom of the Opera (2004,  PG-13)
The Phantom of the Opera
I have seen the musical, loved it, but I loved the movie too. Joel Schumacher did a great job. Gerard Butler was incomparable.
16
Grease (1978,  PG)
Grease
Koff Koff....This is my favorite movie of any genre of any kind of all time. It is the reason I grew sideburns. The cast had excellent chemistry. The songs are a part of history. I saw the musical and still like the film better. My favorite character is Rizzo. When I first saw it, I thought there was nothing cooler than singing and dancing in a black leather jacket. Twenty nine years later, I still do. Grease is the word.
17
Dirty Dancing (1987,  PG-13)
Dirty Dancing
Okay...I love this movie alright?!?! Next....
18
Chicken Little (2005,  G)
19
The Transformers - The Movie (1986,  PG)
The Transformers - The Movie
This was the last movie I cried at...not counting Finding Nemo. I was young and the Transformers were my world at the time...to see Optimus die was tragic. All in all my favorite animated film.
20
The Incredibles (2004,  PG)
21
Finding Nemo (2003,  G)
22
Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003,  PG-13)
23
Sin City (2005,  R)
24
Spider-Man (2002,  PG-13)
25
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971,  G)
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
Ha HA! No Johnny Depp! No Tim Burton THIS IS THE REAL DEAL! This movie is a childhood favorite, and Gene Wilders defining role.
26
Saw (2004,  R)
Saw
This movie rocks if you like a well plotted horror film. Yes it is gory, and I'm not a big fan of gore but if you don't jump or gasp in the final minutes....check your pulse.
27
Batman Begins (2005,  PG-13)
Batman Begins
Batman Year One. The supporting cast really lit up the screen here. I'm not sure they needed to cast Micheal Caine and Morgan Freeman, but it didn't hurt.
28
Saw II (2005,  R)
29
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989,  PG)
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure
This is the first movie me and one of my best friends saw together. I'll always love this movie. Rock on Wylde Stallions!
30
A Knight's Tale (2001,  PG-13)
A Knight's Tale
This movie was awesome! It combined modern elements to the heretofore retold story of impoverished boy made good.
31
Mean Girls (2004,  PG-13)
32
Pulp Fiction (1994,  R)
Pulp Fiction
Content aside. The movie making was gripping and the story was encompassing. Tied together nicely in the end.
33
The Departed (2006,  R)
The Departed
Gangs of New York is in my opinion the better work. This was okay and unfortunately got an Oscar out of duty instead of worth.
34
Old School (2003,  R)
35
Zoolander (2001,  PG-13)
Zoolander
Break dance fighting. Still hate Ben Stiller though.
36
Garden State (2004,  R)
Garden State
I really wanted to see this. While watching this, I wanted to see anything else....except Jimmy Hollywood, it still sucketh.
37
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (2004,  PG)
38
Akira (1988,  R)
39
The 13th Warrior (1999,  R)
40
Der Krieger und die Kaiserin (The Princess and the Warrior) (2000,  R)
41
Batman (1989,  PG-13)
Batman
WOOHOO!!!! I love this movie for a lot of reasons. 1.) Jack Nicholson. 2.) Prince soundtrack and 3.) it started the whole wave of Super Hero movies. And yes I'll take a truck full of Elektras and The Phantoms to get a Spiderman 2.
42
Batman - Mask of the Phantasm (1993,  PG)
43
Batman & Robin (1997,  PG-13)
Batman & Robin
This movie is soooooo bad. I have seen Gilbert and Sullivan plays that were less over the top.
44
Batman Forever (1995,  PG-13)
Batman Forever
My two favorite Batman villians are:The Riddler and Two-Face. Imagine my suprise when it was announced that both would be in the 3rd Batman film. Imagine my horror when I saw what was put to celluloid. ACH! Tommy Lee Jones and Jim Carrey tripping over each other trying to outdo Jack Nicholson's Joker (Leave that to Heath boys), all the while looking like bad Frank Gorshin rip offs. I think anyone who thought casting Jim Carrey as a genius = good movie should be forced to watch Gossip Girl.

X-Men
I bought a ticket for 9 different showings on the same day. How many people can say they actually lived out a childhood fantasy?
58
X2 (2003,  PG-13)
X2
What can I say but YEA! I have waited my entire life for an Xmen movie, and the sequal was good too. I love the Nightcrawler opening sequence and the cameo by Colossus made me giddy.

Godzilla
Boo Boo Boo and Hiss!!!! This is not Godzilla! Godzilla is a man in a big rubber outfit kicking the beejeezus out of another man in a big rubber outfit with some sort Aesopesque morality tale at the end. Even Jett Jaguar says this movie is a cowpie.

There is a fine line between brilliance and over the top. This movie doesn't walk it it tap dances all over it throwing itself across it many a time.
