I loved the Kevin & Perry sketches on the Harry Enfield show. This movie wasn't quite as funny but it was still great. Kathy Burke is extreamly funny. Rhys Ifans finishes off the cast nicely as well. On the Dvd it even gives you some of the sketches which I highly recommend should be watched. They are all very funny and you're more likely to like them than you are the film.

I used to watch this a lot when I was younger. It's close to the perfect children's movie. But on top of that it isn't completely aimed at kids. John Candy was a brilliant comedy actor and everything he does, in my opinion, appeals to adults as well. Seriously enjoyable film with an odd plot that just from reading you know you're going to not only enjoy but find it extreamly funny as well.

Very funny film. Jack Black at his best and Gwyneth Paltrow just completes it. The plot is great and even though it's a comedy it kind of manages to get a moral point across, which is not something you're expecting when you're wetting your pants. Which is likely to happen when you're watching this, it really is full of laughs. A must see for all comedy fans.

Very funny film with a great cast. I've not seen Borat ye t but if it's nearly as good as this one i'm sure i'll love it. Sacha Baron Cohen is an extreamly funny guy. I remember when I first bought this film, I watched it over and over again for ages. Martin Freeman is a really funny guy and he's great in this. The plot is stupid but you can't help but laugh.

I used to watch the original quite a lot when I was younger. It was like a dream come true when it was announced that Johnny Depp was going to be playing the character of Willy Wonka for the remake. I like that they changed the film quite a lot and didn't completely stick to what happened in the original. It gives it a completely new feel about the film. I prefer Johnny Depp's interpretation of Willy Wonka to Gene Wilder's interpretation. The young actors that play the children do an excellent job. Especially Freddie Highmore. He really is a great actor and will go on to be an even greater one. A must see for all, definatly not just a kids film.

Pretty decent comic book movie. Ben Affleck is surprisingly good at playing Daredevil. The plot is solid and entertaining as well. Colin Farrell is just great especially with his broad Irish accent. It's a decent film, and if you're into comic book movies like Batman and Spider-Man then this is a must see.

I love all the Bourne movies. They're entertaining and enjoyable. The plot, it has to be said, is just brilliant. I've not read the books yet but I certainly intend on doing so. I thank the writer for these brilliant movies. Matt Damon is perfect as Jason Bourne. Julia Stiles does a pretty good job as well, for the short appearances she does make on the screen. I could watch these films over and over again, and never get bored with them.

Just as great as the first one. It is usually hard for a sequal to live up to the original but this one pulls it off quite easily. It has just as many thrills as the first one, if not more. Matt Damon is perfect for the role of Jason Bourne and I honestly can't see anyone else playing the character as well as he does. The plot is excellent and extreamly entertaining. A must see film for all.

I put off watching this film for ages. I didn't read any reviews about it or even know what it was about. I thought it was just a stupid old western. Oh boy was I wrong. This is pure comedy genius. I didn't even know this had Gene Wilder in it. Seriously funny film that has to be seen at least once by all.

As a child I couldn't get enough of the fat cat. I think even now I can't get enough of him. Bill Murray was the best choice of voice for him as well and I thank the guy that came up with the suggestion. However, I was a little disappointed. The plot is weak and stupid. I can't stand Jennidfer Love Hewitt which kind of ruined the movie a little. I didn't put me off Garfield though. I still love him.

I love that with each new Harry Potter film, they get better and better. This one was excellent. The characters develop really well and the new characters introduced are all excellent. I have to mention Alan Rickman because once again the guy is brilliant. David Thewlis is brilliant as well. Emma Watson's character really develops well from the last film and I think I like her even more. Rupert Grint is really funny once again. I love Tom Felton's character in this film as well. Gary Oldman does a great job as Sirius and i'm looking forward to seeing him in the next few films.

I think all the Harry Potter movies are brilliant. They stay pretty much faithful to the books which is definatly a good thing. Credit to the director for that. I like that you get the visual side to the characters developing that you don't get quite as much of in the books. All the characters are great and the actors play them beautifully. Especially the kids that started out as unknown actors that hadn't really done much acting before. Rupert Grint is a brilliant actor but I love the way he especially plays Ron. A funny guy that I think will go really far in the industry. Emma Watson also does an excellent job. I actually prefer these characters to the character of Harry. Not quite sure why but I do. A must see for everyone. Not just a stupid kids movie, I'll recommend reading the books as well, because they're excellent as well.

A lot of people say this film is a load of rubbish. Perhaps it's a little too long but other than that I think it's a decent film. The director's cut is even better. The history is fairly accurate, more so than many other films. The acting is very good. Colin Farrell's performance is above average and I don't see anything to complain about. I read that loads of people have a problem with all the actors having Irish accents. First of all I love the Irish accent so it didn't bother me, but I read somewhere that it also represented the difference between the Macedonian's and the Greek classes. Val Kilmer did a brilliant job. I also cannot finish writing this review without mentioning Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. He isn't mentioned in the cast list and certainly deserves it. He is a brilliant actor and plays his character beautifully. I think people shouldn't be so critical of this film before seeing it. Don't have preconcieved ideas of it either. Watch it and make up your own mind.

Slightly stupid but continuously funny film. The laughs keep coming and you rarely get a chance to catch your breath before they are throwing more at you. Steve Carell is very funny and along with Paul Rudd and Seth Rogan they make a great team. A decent film I you fancy a night of laughs.

One of Jack Nicholson's worst films and yet another stupid pointless comedy from Adam Sandler. I don't know why I bothered buying it. Expectation was low anyway but it even managed to go beyond that. Nicholson's acting wasn't bad and he fitted the character well. However you didn't like the character one bit and you didn't really sympathise with Sandler's character either. Not exactly what Sandler was going for I think. It started off in an alright way but by the end I was bored and just wanted it to finish. Much like many of the Sandler comedies. Not a film I would recommend. It just isn't worth that one and a half hours of your life.

I don't know why but I really did prefer this one to the original. The acting is pretty much the same but the plot is just so much better. The characters are just so much more defined and just so much more interesting. Edward Norton is just brilliant as the villian. They couldn't have chosen a better actor in my opinion. A brilliant film that is a must see for everyone.

Really enjoyable animated film. I love the voices in this film. They fit in really well with the characters and make the film really fun to watch. David Schwimmer's character was really fun to watch. A hypocondriact girffaf. Reminded me a lot of one of my friends. The others were great as well and it's great fun to watch and completely worth it.

Not a bad film. I was surprised that I liked it. I wasn't expecting to. The plot is actually pretty good. It's sad in the beginning but the happy ending makes up for it. The characters are interesting and the actors give good performances. Julia Stiles is a decent actress and she plays her character well. It's a very heart felt film and you really feel for her. She expresses the character's emotion very well. A decent feel good film that is a good watch.

I don't really know why I bought this film. Yes, it was cheap but that really isn't the point. I knew it would be rubbish and I don't even like Hugh Grant or Sandra Bullock an awful lot. To start with there really aren't many reasons to like it anyway. The acting is poor an a big let down. The plot is just stupid and you shouldn't expect anything from it. There is nothing more too it and you could probably guess what was going to happen before even watching it. There aren't many reasons to see it are there. I wouldn't recommend this film. It would just be a complete waste of time and money in my case.

I think this film is just about as good as the first one. I really can't decide which one is better because there isn't much in it. Tom Cruise is back as Ethan Hunt. Plays him brilliantly as well. Not really a complicated character but I think he plays him very well. The acting is good and the plot is just as strong as the first time round. Good and enjoyable action film that is a bit of a no brainer and those kinds of films are always great to watch every now and again.

XXX
(2002, PG-13)
I don't quite know why I love this film so much. It is mindless and yet so enjoyable. I could watch it over and over again without getting bored of it. Vin Diesel is brilliant and the character is just perfect for hi. Samual L. Jackson is alright but it isn't exactly his best performance. But there isn't much more he could have done with the character. There are a fair few laughs as well which is always a bonus. Such as the scene in the opera theatre.

I love the Mummy movies. When I was younger I had a thing about Egypt so I was always watching them. Brendan Fraser is just perfect for his character as is Rachel Weisz. I love John Hannah's character as well, he's so stupid but also very funny. I think that Omid Djalili finishes the cast off quite nicely. The guy never fails to make me laugh. He's been in loads of films but never seems to get credit for them.

The beginning of this one isn't quite as strong as the beginning to the first one. However, after about 20 minues it really picks up. The fighting scenes in this one are definatly a step up from those in the first. I felt this one was just slightley better in the way of comedy. John Hannah makes me laugh by doing the slightest little thing and in this film, his character is a little more developed and definatly gives more one liners for everyone to laugh at. Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz do a great job, as they did in the first one. Their son, played by Freddie Boath did a good job as well. The Rock only got a small role to play at the beginning but he does make quite an impressive Scorpian King.

Pointless compared to the entertainment level that I got from The Mummy movies. I don't like that studios try to squeeze every last penny from a film and this is a prime example. They should have left well enough alone. I'm not yet convinced about Dwayne Johnson's acting ability. So far we've discovered he can grunt and run about with some form of weapon. This film doesn't prove me wrong either as that is all he manages to do. I don't think he can honestly act. The plot isn't exciting or thrilling and to be honest forgetable because if you asked me to give you a brief outline of what goes on I probably couldn't tell you. I got this film in a box set along with the Mummy films and I only watched it once. It wasn't that long ago but as I cannot remember much about it I think it shows that it didn't leave a clear impression on me. Not a film I would recommend. Go see the Mummy films instead.

A lot better than I was expecting it to be. I think it's one of those films you have to watch a couple of times to really enjoy it. The plot is great. I think its like a new twist on the cops in trouble kind of thing. The performances are great. Jamie Foxx is excellent. Tom Cruise looks weird with gray hair but he plays the character very well. I liked Mark Ruffalo's character as well, even though he isn't in the movie for that long. A good watch.

Another great animated film by Pixar. I love their animation. This is just as great as all the other as well. The plot is great and the character are very clever and interesting. Some great actors doing the voices for them as well.

I can't deny that this film didn't make me laugh the first time I watched it because it really did. Maybe not at all the points it was meant to but it did nonetheless. The plot is stupid as you probably already know, so don't expect much from it. The Wayans brothers do make me laugh although I know plenty people who hate their comedy. I think if you go into this film with no expectations then you will find moments of it funny. But nothing more than that. I can't say I was disappointed because I knew it wasn't going to be an excellent film, which it was far from. It's an easy going film that doesn't take itself seriously so I find it hard to slag of too much.

Hitch
(2005, PG-13)
A disappointing comedy that isn't worth seeing. Will Smith is truly awful as are most of the other members of the cast. I would say that Kevin James is by far the best but even that isn't great. You can't help but laugh at some parts but others are just awkward. Eva Mendes is pretty bad as well. The plot is stupid even for a comedy. I think by the end of the film you are meant to, in some way, feel sorry or sympathy for Will's Smith's character, however I really didn't feel anything other than annoyance from him. Definatly not a film I would recommend.

Awful film. Bit like a take off from Sister Act but rubbish. The acting is awful and the singing isn't great either. Cuba Gooding Jr. is awful. He let himself down and i'm beginning to wonder if the guy can actually act at all. Beyonce should stick to singing because she can't act either. I had when people aren't satisfied with what they have so they get into films because they're already famous. Fair enough if she could act but she can't.

Not one of Ben Stiller's best films. He's not as funny as he usually is. It is the type of film Jennifer Aniston does though. If you like her other films you'll like this. Dabra Messing is a really funny woman but you don't get to see much of her in this and when she is in it she's playing a pathetic stupid woman. Philip Seymour Hoffman is a brilliant actor but I can't understand why he chose to do this film. The plot is a little stupid and only a little entertaining.

When it comes to comedy, Jim Carrey knows what he's doing. The guy really knows how to make me laugh. This is a must see film for everyone. The acting is nothing special but the comic lines certainly make up for that. A must see for everyone.

The first one was slightly funny. Yet another sequal that lets everyone to do with the film down. Sandra Bullock is alright at most but her character isn't as likable as she was first time around. I suppose one film about her was slightly enjoyable but by this second one your just bored with the character. She wasn't that great to begin with. Regina King's character is more likable as she is basicly what Bullock's character was in the first one. By the end you don't really like her much either. The rest of the performances are forgettable except William Shatner who really shouldn't be in the film in the first place. Not a film I would recommend even if you liked the first one. I can't believe I bought this.

I bought it because it had Matt Damon in it. Obviously it wasn't his best performance. To be honest I wasn't expecting it either. It is a decent comedy that is worth seeing at least once. I suppose it's just a usual Farrelly brothers film.

I have yet to find another film that can make me cry. This film does it every time even if i watch it back to back. Mel Gibson is excellent although parts of his accent is laughable. But none the less he is amazing. This film makes me proud to be Scottish. Every Scot should see this film and those who aren't should as well. The passion is this film is unbearable at times. FREEDOM!!!

I've owned this film for about two years now and it has taken me this long to watch it. I don't know exactly why, I had heard loads of good things about it but it just never really appealed to me. I thought i better review it now before I forget about it and it takes another year to get round to doing that. I realise now why people make such a fuss about it because it was a pretty good film.
