I had to see it with all the surrounding hype!!! I haven't read the books (although I want to).
Okay, so Twilight is kind of cool. It has a simple but interesting plot, and memorable characters. A unique vamp story. But Twilight moves by too quickly...relationships are underdevolped and something is missing in the script. But overall I thought it was pretty cool. My dad absolutely loved it though, he was raving about it lol!!!
Also, Twilight was filmed close to where I live!! The field where they play baseball, my mom has a home video of her dancing there when she was 17!! Lol :D Me & my dad are going to go to Forks sometime soon he said...I'll bet it's gotten a lot of visitors since Twilight came out!

The beginning half is hilarous (I love Justin Long's role omg!!), the second half - not so much (but it's really sweet, and that makes up for it). It drags half way through, and presents the annoying idea that great sex must equal true love, but it's overall funny with a heart warming story underneath.

Eyes Wide Shut is very VERY slow-paced, but it's worth sticking around. It gives us a good look into human sexuality...I'm not sure I quite understood the whole thing, but I thought it to be overall a very good psychological drama. Tom Cruise gives a great great great performance.
