Magic (1978, R)
It's been nearly 29 years since I seen this movie. The phobia against Ventriloquist dolls has seem to faze me at this moment. Magic is one of the early 70's thrillers which stars the great Anthony Hopkins in his young years. Starring as Corky the ventriloquist that has a slight condition that seems to make his alter ego "Fats" the dummy his only companion in this chiller. Anthony Hopkins is as sinister as his Hannibal the Cannibal character, as he makes "Fats" become his murderous self as he kills unmercifully in this thriller. Great 70's classic. |

Eaten Alive (1977, R)
Well, part of one the movies I saw in theatres a long time ago! I saw this flick when I was 6. Imagine that! But still, Tobe Hooper keeps it creepy and sinister as the Texas Chainsaw Massacre flick, only this time is a lonely old vermin out in a run down hotel with a pet crocodile that eats everyone. Somewhat humorous in some scenes, and we get to see "Freddy" aka Robert Englund in his young days. A perfect scary flick for a typical Friday night show. ;) |

Grease (1978, PG)
One of my favorite cool musicals. The fact that John Travolta can sing and dance pretty good with his swing moves, made me fall for the Danny Zuko he played. Just lovable characters all around in this cool rock musical. Olivia Newton John is awesome as Sandy and potrays her as the innocent girl that finally gets to be cool in the end. The HS dance scene is the best with great music numbers. Stockard Channing will always be known as Rizo and she is great as the head of the Pink Ladies. Just a classic and I love it!!! One of my favorite all time movies to watch. |
