My movie diary (2009)

Different from most of the vampire films I ever saw. The acting was okay, not great. Lots of emotions flying everywhere but generally a decent movie. Probably won't want to see it ever again though.

I thought this would be a fun one but I was disappointed. I felt bored half and hour into it. Very different from the novel, but even then it could have been better.

Haven't seen anything like this before. Really cute and different.

Was not completely impressed. The special effects were good but the ending was especially weak. I reckon those who read the books, like me, would find more fault with this installment. However, I must agree that it is the best one out of the six movies made. Maybe the last 2 installments will get it right.

A fusion of ideas I am not sure worked well together. Still, it was entertaining and I could not predict the ending at all.

Not horrible, not great. Even though it was predictable I liked the pairing of Heigl and Butler. It made for some funny moments worth watching.

I usually like Keira Knightley films but this one was a bit out there for me. It was just one mangled mess of love, hate, jealousy, anger, pain. and other feelings. Maybe that was what they were going for but it was a bit too much for me.

Just loved this movie!! Different and so beautiful. McAdams and Bana are awesome together. If you need a tearjerker, this is it people.

Cute film. Loved Bullock's acting. Once again she is able to change her style. In this case becoming the partly obsessed dedicated admirer.

Very predictable film. There was no doubt in my mind how things would turn out nor any real sense that it was a thriller.

What a beautiful little story! Loved it so much. Had humor and touching bits intertwined in the story. Pixar never disappoints.

Gosh, this was so bad. I really tried to see the point of it all but I think I fell asleep before the point was made. Love Hayden, hated the movie.

I think this film was brilliant especially the acting by Butler - the ruthless, yet honest anatgonist. Yet, when I found out how Butler did everything, it was somewhat of a letdown (honestly, I thought his method would be more flashy). However, I thought the ending was simple yet effective and that redeemed the entire film for me.
