Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
Holy fuck, I loved it so much!! I liked it even more than the first one, and that's saying a lot! Awesome, awesome, awesome! GO SEE IT NOW!
3

My personal favorite of the Monty Python films.
5
Kôkaku kidôtai (Ghost in the Shell) (Shell Mobile Force) (1996,  R)
6
Sphere (1998,  PG-13)
Sphere
I love this movie!! The ideas of the story are very intriguing. I also enjoyed the book a great deal.
7
The Lost World - Jurassic Park (1997,  PG-13)
The Lost World - Jurassic Park
The book was definitely better in this situtation, though I still really enjoyed this movie.
8
Jurassic Park III (2001,  PG-13)
Jurassic Park III
Even though it's not even based on a book, it's still pretty good. It doesn't fall apart like so many pathetic sequels.
9
The Mist (2007,  R)
The Mist
Wow, I really loved this. King's horror stories have something that most horror movies don't, and this is a very good example of that. Instead of completely focusing on the gore and horror, the film also shows a lot about how people will manipulate the fear of others and use religion to justify horrible things.
10
Harold and Maude (1971,  PG)
11
Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001,  R)
Hedwig and the Angry Inch
Really tragic story. The movie itself was great, but I LOVE the soundtrack. I get mad at the character Hedwig a LOT throughout the movie, but I feel sympathy for the shitty life she had. Plus she knows how to ROCK.
12
Elizabeth (1998,  R)
Elizabeth
Cate Blanchett is such a wonderful actress!

The movie was very interesting and informative (though I shall have to do some reading to verify the information). It showed the barbaric brutality with which catholicism murdered anyone who didn't follow the catholic religion, for one thing. It shows how religion was basically the ruling factor in the government of the time, and how it almost kept Elizabeth from becoming queen.
13
The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975,  R)
14
Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007,  PG-13)
15
Moon Child (2004,  Unrated)
16
Tonari no Totoro (My Neighbor Totoro) (1988,  Unrated)
Tonari no Totoro (My Neighbor Totoro)
One of my favorite movies when I was little! I still love it.
17
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004,  R)
18
Hellboy (2004,  PG-13)
19
Hellboy II: The Golden Army (Hellboy 2) (2008,  PG-13)
Hellboy II: The Golden Army (Hellboy 2)
Although I liked the first one, this one was a hell of a lot better. I think it had better graphics, for one. Also, there were a lot more interesting creatures and beasts, which is always fun. Plus, come one, Seth Macfarlane as Krauss is just awesome (not to mention the character himself is quite interesting and amusing). Voice of Krauss = voice of Klaus on American Dad :P

Bam Bam and Celeste (2007,  Unrated)
Bam Bam and Celeste
Loved it! I laughed so much! Of course I loved Cho and Daniels (especially Cho, she's one of my idols), but I was NOT expecting Alan Cumming and that just made my day. He's probably the one who made me laugh most.
21
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005,  PG-13)
22
North & South (,  Unrated)
North & South
Not to be repetitive, but this miniseries really is quite comparable with Pride & Prejudice (with Colin Firth). They share some qualities, but this one is distinct enough that it doesn't feel too similar to be enjoyable. I really loved it, it was great fun to watch. I'm really a sucker for these period films! XD
23
Margaret Cho - Notorious C.H.O. (2002,  Unrated)
Margaret Cho - Notorious C.H.O.
I love Margaret Cho! She is so blunt; it's quite refreshing.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989,  PG-13)
33
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008,  PG-13)
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
The plot completely surprised me. I did NOT expect that in an Indiana Jones movie! However unexpected it was, it was still as awesome as I'd expected from an Indiana Jones film. It stars some awesome actors and actresses, including the amazing Cate Blanchett.
34
Star Trek (2009,  PG-13)
