The Dark Knight (2008, PG-13)
Love, love, love Christian Bale. He is amazing! Heath Ledger was incredible in this one! On the downside, I thought it was a bit too focused on the Joker. Whether it was like that in the beginning, or just to show off Heath Ledger as a tribute I don't know, but I would've liked to see a bit more of Batman. (it is after all a Batman movie.) But either way, the movie was great and I would love to watch it a million times more. |

Sex and the City (2008, R)
I think there has to be a warning sign on this movie, saying that you have to be an emotional cutter to go see this newly-dumped! It was so sad1 But at the same time, there was the normal goofyness of Samantha and Charlotte and the irony of Miranda. Carrie is always great no matter what. The thing that still amazes me, is how well Sarah Jessica Parker managed to get into the character. It's as the show's still running. She just IS Carrie. To be recommended to anyone who's a sucker for love! |
