I wanna see this because "Hard Boiled" was fanfuckingtastic, and I heard that the script here is stronger, John Woo rules, Chow is the epitome of cool and the climatic church shootout a sight to behold.

I wanna see this film because the Gospel of Matthew is my favourite of the gospels and Passoilini's bare-bones, neo-realist interpretation of Christ as the fiercest, greatest social(ist) revolutionary sounds thrilling.
