Movies I watched in 2008

Jimmy MacElroy (Jon Heder) já se tornou, para mim, um marco da comédia contemporânea. Esse filme me surpreendeu por cumprir a premissa de ser caricato e hilário.

Ah sim... agora sei em que fonte Allen bebeu para fazer Match Point. A auto-inspiração, nesse caso, fez bem - embora Crimes e Pecados seja superior a Match Point.

Ótimo filme. Joe Wright está no caminho certo (basta o belo plano-sequência na cena da praia, com os soldados caminhando atordoados, para constatar isso). Embora o elenco esteja ótimo, Keira Knightley, mais uma vez, se mostra uma atriz despreparada para papéis mais densos. Se ela conseguisse mudar suas expressões faciais de acordo com a situação de sua personagem, pode até se sair bem em dramas. Mas, por enquanto, acho que ela deveria atuar em papéis menos exigentes em filmes como Piratas do Caribe.

O maior defeito dessa adaptação dos quadrinhos de Stan Lee é a dimensão que deram a Hulk. E ele ainda por cima "voa". De forma geral, é uma boa adaptação com toques dramáticos, ao estilo de X-Men.

I can't believe I watched this film! The story would be better if it was less idiot and less disgusting (but I have to admit, some nerds jokes were funny).

I don't think it would be so good without the wonderful cast - not just Bale and Crowe, every single actor is great in this film. In my opinion, it could be less moralist.

I've watched only five Visconti films,and I loved them!
Anna Magnani is terrific as a mother who wants her daughter to become an actress. "Bellissima" criticizes the cinema industry in a dramatic way that only a director like Visconti could have done.

The greatest things in this film are the actings and the soundtrack by Phillip Glass. The screenplay is poor, it just tells us the story without a good definition of the characters, but their actions. What motivates Sheba to have an affair with the young student? Only desire, her boring life? Very superficial film.

Good film - not just because I'm a Colin Firth fan. Everett and Firth singing 'Lady Come Down' is funny.

Belíssima adaptação da obra de Edmond Rostand. Um filme poético e muito bem realizado, romântico ao extremo.

I don't have much patience with this kind of movie. It's a pseudo-poetic action film. The visual effects are good, although there's never blood on the floor (does it evaporate like alcohool?). Zack Snyder should only direct videoclips because he's out of breath at telling long stories and he thinks slow motion is the greatest thing in an action movie - if he was John Woo, it could be...

Cool!

I missed Ben Whishaw. He plays such a small role in the film, but he's fantastic as Arthur Rimbaud, the poet.

Not another serial killer movie. "Zodiac" is a fantastic film about criminal investigation, media and fear. To be watched with your eyes (and mouth!) wide opened.

Filme que toda mulher adora!

Mark Darcy é o homem com quem eu gostaria de me casar. Colin Firth está perfeito!

Funny movie. The death scenes and jokes are nice. C'mon, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are really cool!

Roteiro do soberbo Charlie Kaufman, com atuações memoráveis de Nicolas Cage, Meryl Streep e Chris Cooper. Sem falar na direção criativa de Spike Jonze.

Filme para todos que adoram cinema. Um dos melhores roteiros já escritos, é um filme que encanta até os dias de hoje.
