movies i watched in 2008

my new favorite movie of all time. the action is so over the top and amusing and also kick ass. the plot is alright i guess but thats not why i watched it, it was for the non stop action and creative gun fights

awesome action movie with some really cool twists

one of my favorite musicals ever, mostly because the who is my favorite band but they really turned a amazing album into a excelent rock opera

a great biopic that is is more controversal than other biopics about musicians lik the doors, ray and walk the line. alex cox does a great job as director for his 2nd movie if i am corect, his 1st being repo man which was also great. gary oldman gives a amazing performance as sid vicious and chole webb gives nearly as good a performance.

a lot like the condemned but disturbing and with a better story but what the condemned has that battle royale doesn't is stone cold steve austin kicking some major ass

a lot like death wish but has more background to the story and more character development. both jodie foster and terrence howard give great performances

amazing! ellen page should get the best actress oscar for sure. this i probably my favorite comedy from 2007. unlike movies like superbad, this movie is a comedy with loveable characters, great dialogue and tons of laugh out loud moments. i highly reccomend this movie to everyone i know

as far as van damme movies go it has points where its better than most others, like van dammes acting and the story was good too. but the problems i had were no martial arts but then again this isn't that type of movie. the gunfights were pretty cool for a straight to dvd movie. if you like van damme this movie is worth a watch

the greatest musical i've seen and in my opinion, both johnny depp's and tim burton's best work yet

i actually liked this one the best of the trilogy. the action was cool and funny and the jokes kept me laughing throughout the movie. i especially like the end when they both punch the guy from the airport lol

offers some funny moments but all around a dissapointment. billy bob thornton is the same as he was in school for scoundrels, just different occupation

an ok movie with lots of flaws. only watch if u r a true van damme fan

even at 61 years old stallone kicks some major ass

goriest movie ever and freaking hilarious. the zombie baby was really funny and when the priest fought some zombies and said "i kick ass for the lord" lmao

pretty far from the original in quality and story but still pretty interesting.

a very weird movie that was kinda dissappointing because it was a bit slow at times and well not hard to follow but just weird idk but robin williams is interesting to see doing a serious role

one of the greatest cop movies ever. This movie kept my interest throughout the whole movie. Pros: Russell crowe gives a great performance as does guy pearce cons: a little too long but whatever and I don't think kim basinger's performance was oscar worthy. All in all I highly reccomend this movie!!!

amazing! it was a lot more violent and bloody than i imagined and way better than the version with the rock

one of the funniest movies i've ever seen. i loved the scenes in the airplane flying upside down and the part with the pudding and coins. better than most comedys in recent years. this is the first charlie chaplin movie i've ever seen and now i wanna see his others like modern times

daniel day lewis gives an amzing performance in there will be blood and i think he has a very good chance at the best actor oscar. a lot of ppl said this was boring but suprisingly it kept my attention for the full 2 hours and 40 mins. the ending was a bit weird but it was good. when i went to the theater, unlike a lot of ppl i didn't make high expectations because its nominated for best picture, i just expected an interesting story about an oil tycoon. another thing, i've seen people say that they don't get what its about an oil tycoon, the oil man vs the preacher, the oil man vs himself, and many more, well after seeing it i can say its all of those in one epic film. one more thing to add to the list of things i liked about this movie is the cinematography, it was amazing and just blew me away and the score was very fitting and at times a bit annoying but it went great with the feel of the movie
