Movies I Went To See In 2007

Not nearly as good as I wanted it to be. The plot lacked substance and the chemistry between Cage and Mendes wasn't that convincing because of the obvious age difference. Some of the acting was lacking and it was kinda cheesy. The character development for the villains was lacking. I don't understand how the hell Mark Steven Johnson got hired to direct this film. I almost liked this one better than "Daredevil" though, ALMOST.

Very disappointing, too many flaws and plotholes. It seemed as if Sam Raimi messed some things up purposely, to avoid the studio wanting him to do another Spidey film. The only thing that redeems this film is how vastly entertaining it was at first.
Part of me sincerely hopes that this is the end of the Spider-Man franchise, it would be far too difficult to dig themselves out of the whole they dug themselves and I doubt that Tobey or Sam will sign up to do more sequels. I really hope this is the end, after seeing this film a few times I know how Horrible it is.

Very entertaining, although a little corny and cliche at times. Pretty much what I expected from director Michael Bay, who's style hasn't evolved much at all. Also, Optimus Prime's voice and dialogue was irritating at times, especially his narration at the end. The plot was a little thin but hey, look at the old crappy cartoon this movie is based on.

Good film, one of the best remakes I've ever seen. In some ways it's superior to the original. For one, they actually developed Michael Myers as a character. Rob Zombie finally made a film that didn't suck ass. The ending could have been better though.

Good film, very entertaining. The suspense is great, they did a great job building the tension from beginning to end. The climax was a little predictable to me but it was still good. Overall the concept was pretty original and very interesting, I might look for the original graphic novel to compare it to this film adaptation. Also, I'm definitely buying the dvd when it comes out.
