A tactile movie! I wanna plunge my hand inside a bag full of beans to feel the sensation! Unforgettable! After the sixth time I've seen this movie...I chose to add half of a star! Definitely, the best one I've ever seen in my life!

Into the Wild (2007,  R)
Into the Wild 4.5 Stars
Wonderful and touching movie. It follows pretty well the novel, giving the spectator a sense of adventure and deep thoughts. The soundtrack is really enjoyable. Hal Holbrook did a great interpretation! While watching, sometimes happens to thinking about being there in the wild with Chris. It scares me...but it also attracts me! It's just a question about grabbing the chance with no fear. I hope that one day I'll be strong enough to do it!

Manhattan (1979,  R)
Manhattan 4.0 Stars
In this movie, neurotic psychology seems to be the engine of every narrative occurence, revealing only at the end that passion and love, with their controversies, constitute, in reality, the factual matter of life events. Summing up with a quote from the movie: "You rely too much on the brain. The brain is the most overrated organ."

Marlon Brando: amazing. Al Pacino: fierceness in his eyes. A wonderful movie that has shown Italian Mafia all over the world!

Cloverfield (2008,  PG-13)
Cloverfield 3.5 Stars
It really made me scared! The hand-held camera effect is fantastic, the creature is "nice" and the movie is not too long and exhaustive. You can decide whether the monster is still alive or not!I think it is!Right now, somewhere in the world!

The Butterfly Effect (2004,  R)
The Butterfly Effect 3.5 Stars
I really aprreciate the filthy and dirty atmosphere at the beginning of the movie and the intertwined plot looks absolutely surprising. On the other hand, Italian dubbing is a shame and, towards the end of the story, effects become more important than causes making the movie less unpredictable and a little bit boring. The happy ending is a bullshit. An interesting surprise!

The Kite Runner (2007,  PG-13)
The Kite Runner 3.0 Stars
"Less touching, less stunning" (than the novel). I agree with the sentence I read somewhere in the reviews. Good actors. Vibrant soundtrack. The screenplay could be better. The movie completely misses the scene of the blood in the bathroom.

An Inconvenient Truth (2006,  PG)
An Inconvenient Truth 3.0 Stars
Interesting documentary. Clearly, the point of view is not objective but some truths are displayed with sufficient scientific evidences. Too much evaluated in the global warming debate. The Inconvenient Truth is just one tile in the Climate Rubik's Cube.
