an all time classic , it's hard to find a strong and great romance nowadays

watched it in the cinema and the men in Hong Kong with the power to scream made me deaf , really in the movies with the loud voice i couldn't handle it .... but overall it's an ok film , liked the different powers they all had , Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning were great here .
if you like the series Heroes you'd like this movie although i felt they stole some ideas from the series

brilliant movie with a great story , acting and direction ... there's nothing more to say just go watch it if you haven't seen it yet , this movie has one of the best battle scenes i've ever seen .

in the part where Commodus starts describing to Maximus the way his son and wife were tortured when his army killed them made me boil i wanted to get in the screen and just choke Joaquin Phoneix

P.S i hardly hate a war movie, they are always so powerful that you gotta love

this movie makes me tear every time i watch it

this movie surprised me it was a period movie but full of funny scenes , it's about a certain time in Ireland ... i loved the James Strang and Anne couple more than Garrett and Catherine . the part where James speaks in italian was nice , here it is :
"- Strang: [in italian] I pity those who have not looked upon your face. How barren their dreams must be.
- Anne : That's beautiful. What does it mean?
- Strang: What?
- Anne : ...What does it mean?
- Strang: oh... well... it's an old Italian proverb
- Anne : Yes, but what does it mean?
- Strang: well, well... it means... well it actually means "Landlord, bring me another bowl of your finest pickled eggs"
- Landlord : Right away sir "

sweet hallmark movie about what the parents - in this story a mother only - goes through when they have a child with genetic abnormalities , it's a very nice drama that i enjoyed and i loved the way her brother in-law was secretly in love with her in a very gentle way ....

great performances from Campbell Scott and Kim Williams ( side note : who is the wife of Brad Paisley my favorite singer ever , lucky her :> )

this was the first comedy movie i watched - i guess it was at 4th grade -
and i laughed out loud in during the whole thing , Sandra Bullock is a great actress , she has her own charisma which make the movies she's in extra special ...
it has some memorable scenes and i like watching it .... although it's only about an FBI agent going undercover as an beauty pageant , as simple as that but it's fun to watch

ok movie , nothing memorable though ... of course the first movie was way better but this part is a one time watch but it's nice to see Gracie Hart again ....

funnier than the first ...... i love Puss in Boots he's so adorable

a good boy and girl movie , for it discusses about the issues between both of the sexes , a sweet story with some funny parts .

you just gotta love Gerard Butler in this film though he's the dirty type of guy :>

a meaningful movie with a brilliant cast , though its 3 hrs i enjoyed every second of it

it's a mix of a mystery with psychological thriller kind of film , i enjoyed it a lot , i mean Mr. Brooks is one sick guy - addicted in killing random people - this whole movie was well built with a witty script and good editing + Kevin Costner & Demi Moore's comeback in a movie that i liked . but i think there was no need for the sex scene in the beginning , now i can't let my young friends see this ...

a boy and a girl's bodies gets swapped , they then go through their life for a couple of days as the oppisite of who they are and learn more about the other gender.

it's actually not a bad movie , it was nice with some funny moments, just give it a try you'll enjoy it ..

a simple story about two brothers who are different from each other and the journey each one of them leads on .. a nice movie to enjoy the fly-fishing scenes and to see one of Brad Pitt's earlier movies.

it kind of reminds me of Legends of the Fall ( it also has Brad Pitt with a similar character to the one he plays in this movie )

i watched this just by reading it's tagline "Sometimes the greatest journey is the distance between two people " and of course because it had Edward Norton in a role unlike the rest of his other movies ... it is definitely one of my top favorites , it has a great storyline and romance with a sad ending .

even in the scenes that was filled with silence between the couple you could feel the emotion and make up a whole dialogue in your head just by their face expressions...

it's a very underrated movie that should be appreciated by more people

it's a cool animated film and with movie stars doing the voices is a bonus , i mean it even has Robert Deniro as the boss of the mafia gang , what else could you ask for ?
every time i watch it i laugh like it's my first time seeing it , it lets you dive in the fish world in a funny kind of way ( they even have Krispy Kreme down there )

hilarious ... it's a very awesome movie with a nice story
i cracked up at the tiger's lullaby the guy with the glasses (Stu ) played on the piano , loved all of the characters and it has funny quotes
it's a film worth watching
though i'm not sure making a sequel for this movie is a good idea ( we'll wait for the trailer to come out )

that was a nice way to start a movie , this is a very awesome dark comedy film that i enjoyed and loved the acting of Colin Farrell - he deserved his award - his character ( Ray ) is a character i'll remember for a long time , God he hated Bruges , i like how he talks about midgets ....

liked the ending , i really didn't see that coming although there were signs through out the whole movie.
it's a nice psychological thriller - which i love watching just for the twists in the end - if you like this you'd also love Hide and Seek & Secret Window , you know the kind of movie where you're convinced that the killer is someone but in the end it turns out the killer is a double person or whatever ... you get the point

touching story , it must be so hard to see a person you love die from cancer in front of you , knowing this would be your last time together ...
excellent performances from both Meryl Streep & Renee Zellwegar .
i cried in this movie but not as much as in Stepmom ...i actually watched this when i was mad from my dad and mom but after that i changed my feelings towards them

not the greatest movie out there but it was still fun to watch ,
it shows us some of Jesse Jame's adventures in his early life in a fun way not like the new movie with Brad Pitt ( which is a great movie ) .
Kathy Bates wasn't much in this movie but the scenes she was in were funny ..... oh and Colin Farrell looked hot here

every time it comes on tv i have to watch it , i know that a lot of people hated it but it was a nice Bollywood movie to me ...
it's an adaption of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice , meaning you still have the same characters but in a different setting (India)
the music are great too , it's a kind of musical with lots of catchy and fun songs...

nice movie with lots of twists that made me glued to the screen
a movie about blackmailing two innocent people - Charles and Lucinda - ( or at least one of them is )
i guess in the end Charles learned his lesson the hard way to never cheat on his wife
the ending was cool too

out of the Saw series i've only watched the first 3 parts and i do give the director credit for the gruesome scenes though i wasn't that scared

i laughed a little but hated the concept , i mean it's a comedy there's no need for a stupid twist in the end and i hated the woman ...

WOW i just watched this movie last night and loved it , i will definitley watch any future movie that combines Ron Howard with Russell Crowe for i also loved A Beautiful Mind ....

i think this movie is for both genders: for males to watch ( it has the guyish stuff like boxing and the struggle of a man responsible for a family ) and it's also good for females to watch ( for the great chemistry between Russell and Renee and the love between them that never changed during fame or the depression time )

my fav scene was the one in the table when his daugther was hungry for another plate to eat so he told her he had a dream that he ate a big feast and he's stuffed and then gave her his plate .... so touching

oh it's based on a true story which makes it more interesting

good dance movie , Antonio Banderas added his charm to this role ... it's inspired by a true story about a dance teacher who volunteers to teach a bunch of high school kids ballroom dancing; the tango scene was one hell of a dance .

Sometimes What You're Looking For Is Right Where You Left It.

the sweetest romantic comedy , i watched it so many times , i think it's nice to be engaged with a guy but married to some other guy too that you forgot about . Reese had to choose between Patrick Dempsey and Josh Lucas , hard decision but i would definitely go with Josh - her husband in the movie - he was such a charming fella .

it's a drama about a disfigured guy with a haunting past who helps out a little kid to pass his exams and by spending time together they will learn some lessons in life from each other ... the kid was great and Mel Gibson of course was awesome he also directed this film too

pretty good , i watched it without reading the novels before or even seeing the trailer and i liked it , such a great picture , i enjoyed looking at the landscapes and was actually into knowing what will happen next , i loved the polar bear and it's sharp voice .
it's not one of the best fantasies but still it's worth watching

interesting idea for a thriller but i didn't like the ending much it ruined the movie for me ... but overall it's a good film.

in every horror movie they have to bring something to make you scared of ( like cabs in The Bone Collector , hotel rooms in 1408 .....etc ) well now you can add the mirror in your room to the list of things to think twice of.

a cute fairytale kind of movie , it's a story that has a curse in it and about finding yourself ....etc
i liked it a lot though i'm not sure adults will like it , James McAvoy looked so adorable in this movie , give it a try you'll love it

when i was a child i used to love buying the big magic kits , you know the ones they sell in Toys R Us for 30 bucks and at home you try and try to do the tricks but you can't because you don't have the smooth hand of a magician well i've always been fond of magic and the shows that come on tv , and then The Prestige and The Illusionist came out the same year so 2006 was one of my happiest years ...

well apparently i wasn't watching closely , for the twist in the end shocked me and made me realize how blind i was , i should have figured it out ..... but what an incredible and captivating film is this ?!

Christopher Nolan set a very great gothic mysterious dark environment to suit with the plot of the movie with a great cast who played their roles perfectly i've watched it so many times and i always love it even more than the first time ...

i remember i saw this on disney channel and i also remember crying , yap Shia LaBeouf performance was so powerful portraying a mentally ill twin brother.
this movie is actually one of disney channel's good films , it's such a touching story i really liked ....

an entertaining simple funny movie, i like the way they brought you their plan during the last 18 months by flashbacks .
but the one thing that's still bugging me is where did Clive get the folded paper from , that was left unexplained it could be a plot hole but anyway i enjoyed it . i loved the scene in the end where they were disappointed and shocked of how they were played by the others ( that was a nice scene )

Clive Owen has been doing a lot of movies lately i hope he keeps up the good work i'd like to see him in more films.

not one of the best dancing movies , it was okay but it lacked some more dance scenes considering it is a dance/music film.
you could watch it if your bored and have nothing else to do , there's nothing special about this one plus it has some lame scenes.

a good one with nice costumes , Emily Blunt did a great job and it also has Rupert Friend ( remember him Mr. Wickham from pride and prejudice )

i felt the first part of the movie was a little slow maybe because i don't know much of their history and i wasn't that interested about the uncles but the second part concerning the queen and prince Albert was great to watch ...
in the end it was nice to read how the queen mourned her husband for a long time

an hallmark movie that stars Teri Polo and Andrew McCarthy , it's about a guy and a woman who are set by their friends to meet by applying in some kind of a magazine , he's still upset over his wife's death and she's depressed that she has a boyfriend who isn't planning on marrying her .

i love watching a movie that's set in the country with horses and ranches and all , and this is one of them that had that setting but i still think this movie could have been better.

funny and charming ... it's the magical kind of movie that the whole family will love , one of my friends made me watch this when i was at her house ( we were supposed to see Prime but she didn't like it and i think one of her young brothers was with us too ).

well the screenplay was written by Emma Thompson who plays the Nanny in the film too , it also has Colin Firth who i adore and like seeing his movies .
they're making a second part Nanny Mcphee and the Big Bang in 2010 Ralph Fiennes will be in it .

wow, this movie brings you a very serious issue ( short-term memory loss ) and present it to us in a funny sad kind of way where you'll cry and laugh throughout the movie. it has a nice soundtrack too

this is Barrymore and Sandler's second film after The Wedding Singer and they are great together on screen .

a movie with a few good laughs . it's a nice film about 3 men ( Ben Stiller , Matt Dillon & Lee Evans ) who are in love with one woman ( Cameron Diaz ) and each one of them will do anything they can to have her .
oh i forgot in the end you'll find out that they were 4 men actually - Chris Elliot being the 4th -

one of Disney Pixar's good movies .
the whole movie was a nice adventure , you just gotta love Dory she's the funniest of them all.

one of the best teen movies out there with a great cast , story and soundtrack . ofcourse it's a remake of Shakespeare's play The Taming of the Shrew in a modern way.
the scene where Heath Ledger sings " I love you baby " is one of the most memorable scenes from the film.
oh and right now they are airing a new series based on this movie , i haven't given it a try yet

a nice tale of a woman and her daughter who move to a village where she opens a chocolate shop where she finds herself hated by the mayor and so he and the rest of his town boycott her and the shop (simply because the townspeople are the type that like to have the same routine with nothing new and they don't like the fact of a woman with no father for her child staying with them)

it's a sweet and delightful movie to watch ; since i'm addicted to chocolate i just had to love this film + it has Johnny Depp in a very small role as the gypsy who is one of the few who befriends the mother since the gypsies are rejected by the village too.

it has Michael Mann as the director + two legendary actors (Robert De Niro & Al Pacino ) enough said .
it's the best 3 hours to spend watching a masterpiece like this , i was actually rooting for De Niro's character as a thief to succeed in all his missions .
great action scenes , story , dialogue and performance from the secondary actors as well as the lead stars.

the scene that has both the detective and the thief in the coffee shop was one of the most amazing scenes ever , and i loved Robert De Niro here he looked great and did great as he always does in most of his movies

when the movie started i thought the story was gonna be about a girl liking a perfect guy she meets in a coffee shop but then suddenly the guy is killed by a car accident .... the story later begins about death taking the shape of a person - who happens to be the guy who died - to learn about earth and take away the life of Anthony Hopkins.

it's a creepy idea but it turned out to be a lovely film , Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins are awesome together. i loved how out of all the food in earth Death was amazed by peanut butter and ate it by spoon , that was fun to watch

it's a british comedy starring Hugh Grant & Rachel Weisz
i find this movie kind of boring and lame i didn't enjoy it much , usually in movies with young children i like them but in this one i hated the kid a lot that i felt like killing him .
and in the menu of the dvd they bore you with the duck in the film like he's the star of the movie.

a sweet light film written and directed by Bonnie Hunt .
it's about a guy (David Duchovny) who starts to have feelings towards a woman (Minnie Driver) who happens to have the heart of his earlier wife from a heart transplant

it must be really hard to be put in a position like his to have the heart of your own love and wife in the new person you're starting to like , if your in a mood of a nice light movie then this one is for you

it's a 1958 movie based on Tennessee William's play , it's about events that happens in one day ( Paul's father's birthday ) where the whole family is gathered and they start to sort out their problems and try to overcome a haunting past.

Paul Newman and Elizabeth Taylor were great playing the married couple who are distant from each other in feelings and emotion . Burl Ives was also good playing the Big Daddy who faces his son(Paul) demanding to know why he's acting so different.

the word " mendacity " is repeated so many times in this film since it is actually the theme of the movie (it gives me a headache hearing it a lot) still it's an excellent piece of work

i know there's a lot of bad reviews concerning this movie but i actually found it to be quite entertaining and a fun ride , it's so nice seeing all these people move from one place to the other .

to teleport anywhere seems awesome , the whole world will become lazy though ; even if i were able to jump to another country i'll still ride a plane because i just love airplanes and i won't like to miss experiencing that evey time i feel like traveling .

Sam lives with his son in Seattle , Annie lives in Washington and engaged to Walter.

i won't spoil the story ; it's about two people who totally don't know each other but eventually find out that they are soulmates.
Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan have great chemistry on screen although they're seen together only for a couple of minutes , it's directed by Nora Ephron (she also directed You've got Mail and When Harry Met Sally)

it's a nice movie that makes you feel like you're watching a classic film from the early 1900's

Edward Zwick , well after i watched Blood Diamond he became one of my favorite directors. he brought a great cast into this movie , although i'm not a big fan of Tom Cruise as a person he forced me to like him in his role as Algren who's an American Captain who was supposed to destroy the Samurai people but the Emperor of Japan takes him and asks him to train his army , later Algren starts to love their culture and try to defend them even from his own people.

great action , acting , cinematography and SOUNDTRACK that was composed by the one and only Hans Zimmer ; in this movies score my personal favorite is Spectres in the Fog , it's just a brilliant piece of music i love to hear.

" - Higen: Will you fight the white men, too?
- Algren: If they come here, yes.
- Higen: Why?
- Algren: Because they come to destroy what I have come to love"

this is one of the few animated movies that i wasn't raised with as a child - since of course it came out when i was older - that i actually loved , whenever we play the dvd my younger brother gets bored and leaves me alone but i'll stay glued and watch the whole thing again without getting bored.

great voices by Brad Pitt ,Catherine Zeta-Zones and Michelle Pfeiffer (when the characters first start talking you can match the actors with their voices right away). it's an amazing DreamWorks film with a great story and animation about the legend of Sinbad and his adventures at sea ; it has it all action , friendship , wit and humor.

" - Proteus: Do you have a plan?
- Sinbad: Uh...how about try not to get killed? "

a sweet light funny movie about a naive actress (Delysia) who's using three men : one just for his house , the other to give her a role in a film he's prducing and the third (Michael) who loves her and wants to marry her.
Miss Pettigrew is a governess who comes to work for Delysia and gets to look at life in a different way.

Frances McDormand and Amy Adams were great and Lee Pace was a treat to look at and funny. it's a feel-good movie with some humor that you'll enjoy.

" - Michael: Ice pick?
- Delysia: It's in the drawer. Somewhere! Ice in the Fridgedair?
- Michael: I want the pick for murder, not ice. "

Cry Baby is a movie with a weird story and characters , even the actors sometimes they act in a stupid way ; despite all that it's still a fun movie to watch especially for those who love musicals. i mean it's about a guy who can shed only one tear from his left eye and the girls just love it (now do you see what i meant by weird ? )

Johnny Depp was ok but remember it wasn't him who did the singing. the song "Please,Mr.Jailer" was stuck in my head for a few days..
oh , the hate between the two families kind of reminded me of Romeo and Juliet ....

a regular story about a girl (Daphne) who goes on a trip to meet her father for her first time. it's a nice movie to watch with the whole family , i've watched it more than once since it comes on tv a lot.

i'm not a huge fan of Amanda Bynes so i watched this mainly for Colin Firth and he was awesome as the father who suddenly discovers that he has a daughter ; but i hated the boyfriend (Oliver James), he's so lame and can't even act.

a romantic comedy about a lawyer (Lucy) and she works for a millionaire (George) who she disagrees with the way he runs his job ... but throughout their times together she'll experience the feeling of love for her first time.

this movie is directed by Marc Lawrence (who also directed Miss Congeniality). Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant were amazing on-screen, each with their own charm.
my favorite scene is the one after the tennis game where she needs to use the bathroom and they had stop in the middle of the traffic to run to a trailer that's in front of them.

" - Meryl Brooks : Come on, I've known you since Brownies, and the only time I ever saw you cry was when Bush won.
- Lucy Kelson : Which one?
- Meryl Brooks : Well, both of them. "

a good tale about the journey Heinrich goes through , he's a mountaineer going with a crew to set a record but things go wrong so he and another climber (Peter) go on their own and end up in Tibet where Heinrich befriends the young Dalai Lama and treats him like his son whom he've never met.

a fine movie with good actors, though it's kind of slow which actually fits with the flow of the story, still it's enjoyable to watch. though i wonder why China banned Brad Pitt from visiting the country after filming this film !

Tropic Thunder is a movie with lots of stupid scenes that somehow made me laugh to the point where tears started coming down. it's about a bunch of actors who think they are filming a war movie but in fact they are living it for real and left alone to face the enemies and traps with no help from the crew.

Ben Stiller wrote and directed this movie as well as starring in it ; from the cast i mainly enjoyed Matthew McConaughey , Tom Cruise (though he had a small part) and ofcourse Robert Downey Jr. who did a great job playing the australian guy playing the african american dude.

" - Kirk : I know who I am! I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude!
- Kevin : What?
- Kirk : You're a dude that don't know what dude he is! "

a fun and entertaining movie , it took me a long time till i finally got the chance to watch it , Tim Burton did a great job creating the characters in this film. i just loved how dark and gothic it is with a story about Halloween and Christmas told by songs.

" Jack : ..... and since i am dead , i can take off my head to recite Shakespearean quotations "

a bittersweet story about a brother (Benny) and his mentally ill sister (Joon) - who he takes care of and tries to protect her from any harm - . in a poker game Benny loses and is obliged to take care of a player's cousin (Sam) who's very strange and acts like he's Buster Keaton (i haven't heard of him before but i read he was an comedian) , anyway after that Sam and Joon slowly fall in love.

it's a very heartwarming movie with lovely performances from Aidan Quinn as the overprotective brother , Mary Stuart and of course Johnny Depp who made this film extra special by playing the innocent and charming Sam.

P.S. it's not a movie for everyone's taste , that's why i don't recommend it to anyone who doesn't appreciate a simple film like this but it fits my taste very well...

" - Joon : Did you have to go to school for that?
- Sam : No, no, I got thrown out of school for that. "

again Hallmark brings another sweet film; it's about a widower (Leah) who marries her brother-in-law (Jake) but they live as roommates since they weren't planning on marrying each other for they are both very different.

i enjoyed it and i actually learned stuff i never knew about the Jew's religion , this was a cute film that will let you smile in the end , and the doctor - Jake - looked very handsome especially when he's wearing a suit.

what a disaster ?!
i won't even bother telling you what this movie is about (actually i don't even consider this a movie). i watched it just because i read Adrien Brody's name but God i got bored like hell with the terrible story and people trying to act ...

so basically if you were bored and watched all the movies you have on dvd , on tv or even online and you had nothing left but this film DON'T EVEN THINK about seeing it ; trust me it's just total garbage

very good western movie with brilliant performances from both Robert Duvall and Kevin Costner.

Open Range is about Charley (a former killer), Boss (the leader of the crew) and two other members who are pushing a cattle; they stop near a town, events happen that leads to one of their members getting killed by the Sheriff's men so Charley and Boss decide to take justice into their own hands.

there isn't much of action in the first half of the movie but you do get to know the characters more and enjoy their conversations. there's only one gunshot in the whole movie and it was awesome to watch.

i got the chance to see it last week in the movies and i recommend you go and watch it. it was my first 3-D experience and i thoroughly enjoyed the feeling of the water coming close and the food raining and Flint's face coming near you, although i must admit that at first i thought there was nothing special with the 3D but later when i saw the trailer on tv i noticed how different it was.
a nice movie about a scientist (Flint) trying to invent new stuff but always fails and causes a disaster (it kindda reminded me of Chicken Little , with the father being disappointed from the son and then the son tries to save the world and in the end everything goes fine...) ; i loved how colorful it was and it's actually funny in parts even for adults.

during the movie i thought Andy Samberg did the voice of Flint and convinced myself that i was right but in the end credits i was surprised when i read that it was Bill Hader and that Andy did the voice of Baby Brent...

" - Paula : Just tell me how much he owes and I'll pay you back.
- Carl : So far , it's about 1.3 million dollars "

Catch me if you Can is a cat and mouse movie about Frank Abagnale who impersonated a real doctor, lawyer and co-pilot while he was still young and stole lots of money from the banks by fake checks.
Frank must have been very bold to do risky things like this but hey he lived his life... and you can't fully blame him because he was so disappointed from the issues between his parents, he needed to break through and try to succeed on his own ( I nearly wished to do some of the stuff Frank - the most wanted criminal then - did .... ha i wonder if this is the moral / lesson that they were aiming for in this film ?! )

it's directed by Steven Spielberg and he did a fine job, with stunning performances from Leonardo DiCaprio - who lived the role in a believable and great way - and Tom Hanks - who i'm not a huge fan of but he was great as Carl the FBI agent trying so hard to catch his prize - ; oh and i liked the scene with Jennifer Garner in where she ended up paying Frank 400 dollars for sleeping with him instead of the other way around.

so it's about a young man who lives his life believing he's Don Juan the greatest lover in the world, when one day he tries to attempt suicide, so a psychiatrist tries to cure him but ends up being infected by the young man's beautiful words of love.

it's a cute movie starring Johnny Depp with a mask, young and with an accent where you just have to fall in love with him. Although the ending is kind of confusing ; we don't know for sure if he really is Don Juan or not but the way i understood it i think he isn't. oh , and i loved Bryan Adams song (Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman) it was nice.

a very sweet movie that i pop in the dvd player whenever i'm bored and feel like watching a light film; Reese and Mark were great in the scenes they were together. a lot of my friends thought it was a lame idea for a film but i actually like the whole ghost aspect in movies and this is one of my favorite ghost stories. and i loved the scene in the restaurant where Mark is trying to save a guy from dying (that makes me laugh everytime)

i also read the novel (it's original title was If Only it were True by Marc Levy) the book was a fun read but it focused more on the dramatic side and the guy's history; unlike the film which showed the romantic comedy side. i recommend reading the book and watching the movie, they're both very enjoyable.

first of all i'll have to make it clear that i know nothing about poker and still i liked this movie. it starts with Mike telling us a few stuff about poker and how he stopped gambling when he lost all his savings in one game, after about half an hour Edward Norton -Worm - finally shows up (i don't like Matt Damon so i was waiting for Ed) anyway Worm comes out of prison and has a lot of money to repay so Mike helps him out by his skills in poker (Worm is good in poker only by cheating); i'll leave the rest for you to watch.

i learned a couple things of poker, and after a week i watched Lucky You and learned even more (Eric Bana in that film explained some stuff in more detail). all in all Rounders is a cool poker movie with good performances from John Malkovich and Edward who made the character Worm interesting to watch, though he's a careless and irresponsible guy you just wanna slap.

a beautiful journey of a wild stallion who has a mind of his own; the whole animation and story is amazing and fun to watch.
there isn't much talking in the movie but Bryan Adams songs is quite enough for expressing the feelings and emotions ( his songs and Hans Zimmer composing made this film even stronger); it's just a great DreamWorks movie about horses that i love.

originally when i first watched it in the theaters we were supposed to see Spider Man (they both came out the same time) but because the movie wasn't suitable for my younger sister the woman there suggested Spirit and i'm glad she did because it was great in a big screen, though i still think watching Spider Man in a big screen would have been a good experience too.

i laughed out loud in lots of scenes watching Chuck and Larry, i know that this movie didn't do good but i enjoyed it and made me laugh through the 2hrs of this film.

well it's simply about a guy who drags his friend into pretending to be a gay couple in order to get some benefits, and then funny events happen that will at least make you smile. Adam Sandler and Kevin James were both good but i didn't care much of Jessica Biel.

the Mask of Zorro is a very fun movie filled with sword fights, adventure, romance and funny scenes. i've seen it so many times because my young brother is addicted to Zorro so whenever he's watching it i sit with him and watch my favorite scenes; i love the song from the soundtrack "I want to spend my lifetime loving you" very much.

Anthony Hopkins was great as the old Zorro who's retiring and training Antonio Banderas in becoming the new Zorro and of course Antonio fits the character perfectly, Catherine Zeta-Jones did well too as the daughter of Anthony and she looked beautiful and original here. i know that there isn't much of Zorro fans but i actually like the character and his witty ways in fighting his enemies.

not bad as a sequel for The Mask of Zorro where we get to see Zorro and Elena separated with an adorable son who loves Zorro not knowing that it's his own father ! and it also has Rufus Sewell as the bad guy. it has a couple of funny scenes but overall i think the first part was greater, still this was nice to watch. oh i forgot to mention how i love the name Alejandro

a plain movie with no laughs considering it's a comedy !! it stars Courteney Cox and her husband David Arquette .... nothing special but it's nice to watch just once.

yah i know there's lots of unrealistic scenes like how the protagonist never gets shot or stopped ...etc , but i actually enjoyed it and for an hour and a half movie it was filled with great action scenes and a story that kept me on the edge of my seat ; i even bought it for my parents to watch and they liked it.

Liam Neeson was amazing as the father who searches for the people that kidnapped his daughter. it was actually nice to know about the traffickers and slave trade that happens in certain countries....

- Marko : [translates paper] "Good luck".
- Bryan : You don't remember me? We spoke on the phone two days ago. I told you I would find you. "

of course i love this movie; i watched it many times when i was a child and i still love it now as i did years ago. it has just a beautiful story about a street urchin falling in love with a princess and a Genie that can grant him 3 wishes, it's filled with characters that stays with you forever like Aladdin, Jasmine, Abu, Jafar, the magic carpet, Iago and Genie.

great songs especially "A Whole New World" i never get tired of that song. every time i see any movie with Robin Williams i always have his picture with his voice as Genie playing in my mind. there's two sequels for this part but in my opinion this one is the best, back then it was a new and original story that was added to the other Disney classics.

it has Jafar back from the lamp and they make up a story from that; i didn't like it at all, all the characters looked different than the previous part (darker colors). so simply i think there was no need for this film.

this is the final part of the Aladdin movies and i found it to be a watchable film; i actually enjoyed it, unlike the second part. so in this part we are introduced to Aladdin's father who happens to be the king of thieves and we finally get to see Aladdin and Jasmine's wedding.

i've seen it more than once and would recommend it to see the characters back again but keep in mind that the first part is way superior than this one.

average film about two astronauts who change after being out of contact with NASA while on a mission in outer space; later you'll discover that aliens are haunting their bodies to rule the world !!

it's a weird story, but the movie didn't grab my attention much, i think it wasn't directed well and that lots of stuff were missing that would have made this film better. Charlize Theorn and Jonny Depp were good but the movie didn't help them much. but hey you get to see Johnny with blonde hair acting as both a good and mean person (he looks hot in this film ..)

directed by Ridley Scott ; yap Russell Crowe is with him again in A Good Year, which is based on a novel . well the movie was ok with a nice story of a man visiting his past; enjoyable with some nice scenes but i do feel there's something wrong with the way Ridley directed this film and the English accent didn't match with Russell , you feel he's trying so hard that you can tell that's not his original accent. but still it's a good movie to watch with your family in the afternoon.

quite awful , i was expecting it to be like Sweet Home Alabama (you know the concept of a city girl visiting a town with nice events going on) but no this was so boooring with dull acting. usually in romantic comedies i actually like the male lead's role; in this film i actually hated Harry Connick Jr.

even Renee Zellweger couldn't save this movie and it had absolutely no funny scenes whatsoever. Bottom line don't bother watching this, it'll be just a waste of time. the only thing that i actually liked is the wintry weather with the nice jackets..

after reading all the good reviews about this movie i actually expected to see an horror film that will make me say "finally a good horror movie that makes sense ..." but nope i felt that Drag Me to Hell was so lame and dull with not even one frightening scene; i don't see why a lot of people are making a huge fuss about this movie, is it because it's directed by Sam Raimi ?! well i liked his Spider Man movies but not his one . maybe because i expected more, i don't know...

at first the whole idea of the curse and stuff was good but later on i lost interest about the story; but i must say that Alison Lohman was ok but had some stupid lines like the one where she's in the grave yelling "i Christine Brown give ..... something...something...." ! , the only character i actually liked was Justin Long playing the boyfriend who doesn't believe in all the souls and curses happening .

well this is one of Jim Carrey's well known movies; it's about a lawyer who can't lie for 24hrs. Liar Liar is one of the 90's good comedies, i like watching this film and having a few laughs and of course it has Jim doing what he does best (standing in front of the camera and doing his comedic stuff that you can't resist). this film and Yes Man are both my favorite Jim's funny films with a nice concept.

i started the movie thinking that it's a boring film (because of what i read on imdb) but after the first few minutes i realized that it was actually quite enjoyable, i liked the whole father son relationship and the poker games; the only downside was the lack of chemistry between Drew and Eric (they didn't convince me as a couple and Drew annoyed me here). in the small little scene where Robert Downey Jr. shows up was very funny.

as usual Eric Bana looked great here and did a good job too along with Robert Duvall. this movie could be a little slow but it's still a nice watch, i even enjoyed it more than Rounders.

P.S the scene in where Eric is running for a bet and wins in the end but then Drew tells him that he lost by a second pissed me off, i mean come on it's only a second do you have to mention it !

Chicken Little... i loved this character, he's so innocent and adorable. this movie was entertaining with a nice story and soundtrack. Zach Braff did great as the voice of Chicken Little, that you feel it was made for him.

the scene where he sings "We are the Champions" was nice and i loved the creature Kirby :)

a story about a family, focusing on the two sisters and an old friend who comes back as a grown guy and loved by both of the sisters.

The Man in the Moon is the first film for Reese Whiterspoon and she actually did a great job for a 14 year old (she hasn't changed much, she looks just the same now); this movie is nice to watch in the afternoon but it really had a depressing ending - just when you get to love someone and think your life is about to start then lose it so soon - that's so sad, there were a few tears (but it wasn't strong enough to make me cry)

a holiday movie to watch in a winter night; it's about a woman who runs with her sister's children to another place where she pretends to be a relative of dead a member in the neighborhood to sleep in a house for a couple of days.

it has some cheesy moments but it's still a good watch, and the cop (David Conrad) looked well here and Carla Gugino did very good as the aunt who's trying to protect her nephew and niece from the foster care.

Sleepy Hollow is the third movie that teams Tim Burton with Johnny Depp ...it was a nice movie, i've always heard about the stories revolving around Sleepy Hollow but never knew the whole thing but now i do; this movie was dark with cool scenes of headless bodies; Johnny Depp did great as well as Christina Ricci and the little boy playing Young Masbath...

i loved the funny scenes where Johnny is scared and disgusted from tiny stuff and of course the fainting parts , oh and i liked the scene where he spends lots of time on the widow's corpse experiencing his tools :)

The Guardian is an interesting film that shows us how the guard rescue swimmers are trained (I don't think I've seen a movie that talked about this subject before) and it also shows the emotional side of losing a person close to you after all your attempts to save him/her and dealing with the aftermath situation.

Kevin Costner was great and Ashton Kutcher proved to us that he can act in a drama film quite good...the only thing i didn't like about this film is that it made me feel like it reached the end more than once, i mean after the students were graduated i thought the story ended but there was another chapter of the trainer and the student on a mission together and then again a whole scene of Kevin going back to rescue them...etc (i don't think there was any need for killing his character and i didn't like the whole talk of the legend of the sea who's saving people) but overall it's a good film.

so i've read a lot of people comparing this film to the story of Jane Eyre, that's why i gave Firelight a try but i didn't enjoy it much; the story is nice but i just never felt any sympathy for either of the characters and i didn't feel the love between them. even the scene where the daughter meets her child didn't get to me ...

i'm not sure what exactly do i feel about this movie, i felt it was trying to be like Crash in interconnecting the stories of the characters. but i like how it showed us what people are willing to do just to be able to stay in the states hoping for a better life, and i found the story about the Muslim girl very true because the government is always suspicious about any person who's an arab that they even accused her for being a terrorist just by writing an essay of her thoughts.

this movie deals with a lot of good issues but i don't think it's that powerful (Crash was way better dealing with daily issues and it didn't take any sides! ).

i like movies with time traveling , about becoming younger/older or swapping bodies. and 17 Again is a light funny movie about a desperate man who gets to live as a 17 year old once more.

i wasn't sure of this film when i read Zac's name but he did good here; the movie was funny in some scenes but it also had a good message in it. the scene with the father as a high school student with his daughter in the room was so strange and disgusting to me knowing that he's the father but thank god nothing happened or that would have been very gross.

Much Ado About Nothing is of course based on Shakespeare's play which i've never heard of before so i watched this movie knowing nothing of the story but i actually liked it a lot; at first it was kindda confusing with the old language and not knowing who's who but after about 30 minutes i got along and enjoyed it very much.

i never knew that Shakespeare did any comedies ! it was a nice funny story and i loved the parts where they try to make Benedick and Beatrice fall for each other. Emma Thompson was great, Denzel Washington and Michael Keaton did good too and of course Kenneth Branagh was amazing playing Benedick and directing this movie (he excels when it comes to Shakespeare's plays for i also loved the movie he did on Hamlet); Keanu Reeves did terrible here but in general the movie was a good watch.

The Island entertained me from start to finish; at first we get a look at the clones and then later we have people chasing two of the runaway clones. i loved the whole idea of a picture of how the future could be (it actually made me wonder if clones really do have feelings or not) , oh and it also showed some imaginable technologies but the touchable computer on table is already out this year...
Ewan McGregor looked adorable here and did great and i also liked Sean Bean and Steve Buscemi's characters.

when i was younger i used to be a fan of the series Sister Sister which had the twins Tia and Tamera Mowry, they star in this movie about two witches who unite together to save their mother.

remember it's a Disney Channel movie so don't expect anything special but still it's a good Halloween movie.

this movie was highly recommended by my friend, she even rented it for me on my birthday when it first came out on dvd so i watched it thinking it's gonna be extremely enjoyable with lots of street dancing but it wasn't that great of a movie; still it's fun to watch and enjoy but it's forgettable after a day or so (i really can't remember much about it now! )

Why in every dancing movie they have to bring you a person who's very special to the protagonist dying in order for him/her to go back dancing again ?!! i've seen the same idea used in Step Up and Save the Last Dance ....and many other films.

this movie is adapted from Thomas Hardy's novel under the same title (i watched it after i saw Tess of the D'Urbervilles 2008 mini-series which is also based on one of his novels which was great but so sad and depressing so i came in this film expecting it to be sad too but it was the opposite) so Under the Greenwood Tree is actually a nice and light story of a woman who's liked by three men but only one of them truly loves her... a regular movie with average acting but still it's a good movie to watch.

A Knight's Tale was a lot of fun to watch; you have nice jousting scenes that will make you cheer along with the crowd with a funny dialogue set in the old times with a mix of modern songs....

all the cast were ok; Paul Bettany was disgustingly good but i think Heath Ledger was a little bit dull playing his role in this film. all in all it's a nice movie to watch if you were in a good mood.
