Magicians (,  Unrated)
Magicians
I thought it was very funny in places. Loved the compere, and thought the relationship between the two was done quite well

28 Weeks Later... (2007,  R)
28 Weeks Later...
That's a really awesome poster there. The film itself is not as good as that poster, sadly. Plot holes! The army were ridiculously incompetent, which is, I'm sure, a poor reflection on the American army. Still, it would be a fine movie to watch with friends

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End (2007,  PG-13)
Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End
Loved it. Better than the other two, and funnier too
4
The Hitcher (2007,  R)
The Hitcher
This film wasn't bad at all. The victims were relatively smart: if the Hitcher wasn't so damned invincible they'd have been quite fine.
5
Zodiac (2007,  R)
Zodiac
I actually really enjoyed this. It was fairly long (2 and a half hours, I think), but it held my interest. The actors were marvellous, although I could have used more Robert Downey Jr.
6
Ocean's Thirteen (2007,  PG-13)
Ocean's Thirteen
Not as bad as it could have been. I saw it twice, anyway :S
7
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007,  PG)
8
Shrek the Third (Shrek 3) (2007,  PG)
Shrek the Third (Shrek 3)
Better than Shrek 2, although to be honest the whole franchise got very old very quick
9
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007,  PG-13)
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
By far the best adaptation; Umbrige and Luna were inspired, and it was only Hermione that ruined as per.
10
Transformers (2007,  PG-13)
Transformers
Way better than I was expecting, and I was expecting a lot :D The robots were fantastic, the humans were pretty cool- even the action held my interest and battles normally bore me.
11
The Simpsons Movie (2007,  PG-13)
The Simpsons Movie
I didn't want to be disappointed by this movie, so I wasn't! If you go and see this film hoping it will fail, in your eyes it will. I personally loved it and found it very funny throughout
12
Evan Almighty (2007,  PG)
Evan Almighty
Steve Carell getting hurt always makes me laugh. This film was mildly disappointing though, I was hoping it would be funnier.
13
Hairspray (2007,  PG)
Hairspray
Christopher Walken made this movie for me, and he was only in it for about 5 minutes
14
1408 (2007,  PG-13)
1408
Actually quite liked this. Although slightly disappointing at first, I kept thinking about it afterwards, and would definitely see it again
15
Hallam Foe (Mister Foe) (2007,  R)
Hallam Foe (Mister Foe)
This was sold to me as the most depaved thing ever, but it's actually fairly sweet in places, a little bit odd in others, and generally well done
16
Knocked Up (2007,  R)
17
Superbad (2007,  R)
Superbad
I've changed my mind about this film. At first I loved it, and I still do love the Mclovin'/Cops parts, but I thought it was too dark in places and a lot more could have been done with it. Not a very typical gross-out/teen/whatever movie though, so i'd recommend it at least once
18
Disturbia (2007,  PG-13)
19
Shoot 'Em Up (2007,  R)
Shoot 'Em Up
Easily the best film I've seen in ages. The adverts really put me off, but I heard many good things about it and I would really recommend it, especially to those that prefer absurd action
20
Death Proof (Grindhouse Presents) (2007,  R)
Death Proof (Grindhouse Presents)
Considering how long it was, it could have been quite boring, but I was kept fairly entertained the whole way through. Best bit of the film is the song played over the end credits, it's amazingly catchy
21
Run Fatboy Run (2007,  PG-13)
Run Fatboy Run
A lot of people were disappointed with this film, saying it wasn't as good as Hot Fuzz or Shaun OTD, but I thought it was really sweet with some really funny moments. Dylan Moran, someone who really doesn't do it for me most of the time, was marvellous in this film, as was Simon Pegg
22
Across the Universe (2007,  PG-13)
Across the Universe
Before going in I knew this was a hippy film, (:p) but I had no idea how massively surreal it would turn out to be. It was really strange seeing something so bizzarre on the big screen, but in a good way. The film itself was actually really good, although I think I mainly liked it as a Beatles fan- although even I thought some of the Beatles references were really contrived
23
I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (2007,  PG-13)
I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry
This film was terribly frustrating. When it focused on the gay characters/community it was partly sweet, partly gently funny; but when it focused on Adam Sandler's character it ruined it all by being perverse and crude
24
Halloween (2007,  R)
Halloween
Not only was it not as good as the original, it didn't even try hard enough to be controversial, which I thought it would. The back story to Michael Myers was *sort of* interesting, but then it resorts to usual slutty girls getting slashed to bits
25
Mr. Woodcock (2007,  PG-13)
Mr. Woodcock
This movie
a) has no plot
b) can't decide if Mr. Woodcock is a bad or good guy, and whether we should like it or not
c) has exactly one funny bit in it
(P.S Has Susan Sarandon completely sold out recently? I still cringe when I think of her in Elizabethtown)
26
Stardust (2007,  PG-13)
Stardust
Three words to describe why you should see this movie: Robert De Niro.
27
Ratatouille (2007,  G)
Ratatouille
Liked this very much. Thought it was very cute with terrifically funny characters. The short at the beginning was marvellous, if possible I'd recommend looking for that online
