Oldboy (2005,  R)
Oldboy
Different, but really good. The ending was disturbing.
2
High School Musical (2006,  Unrated)
High School Musical
I can't believe I actually watched this. There was one major flaw in the story - why wasn't Sharpay mad at the end? Her character totally changed in the last 5 minutes.
3
2046 (2005,  R)
2046
This made me sleepy.
4
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005,  PG)
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Really cool movie.
5
Tim Burton's Corpse Bride (2005,  PG)
Tim Burton's Corpse Bride
A little too musical for me, but overall it was a good movie. Visually enjoyable.
6
The Nightmare Before Christmas (2008,  PG)
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Watch the special features about how they made this before you watch the movie. You'll have a much better appreciation for this. Wow!
7
Wild At Heart (1990,  R)
Wild At Heart
I liked Mulholland Drive more, but this was very good. It wasn't as hard to follow as some of David Lynch's other movies. I loved the references to Wizard of Oz. They were fun to spot.
8
Half Nelson (2006,  R)
Half Nelson
Fairly slow moving and it seemed like nothing was really resolved.
9
Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring (2003,  R)
Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring
This was so different than anything I've seen before. It almost seemed boring, yet I couldn't stop watching. There is very little dialogue and it's sort of a 'life lesson' movie.
10
Permanent Midnight (1998,  R)
Permanent Midnight
I wish I had seen this before Ben Stiller was sort of typecast in his comedy roles. But he actually did a really good job of making me forget that. There are all sorts of interesting facts about this movie. It's a harsh true story, and very well done. I want to watch it again.
11
Videodrome (1983,  R)
Videodrome
Bizarre, trippy and strange. Definitely different. It had me squirming in my seat (which is very rare). I didn't really like the ending though.
12
Blowup (Blow-Up) (Blow Up) (1966,  Unrated)
Blowup (Blow-Up) (Blow Up)
Odd, and it took a while to get to the plot. It's fun to compare the similarities to Austin Powers though.
13
Cecil B. Demented (2000,  R)
Cecil B. Demented
I definitely haven't seen anything like this. It was twisted and crazy with a weird sense of humor.
14
Private Resort (,  R)
15
Brazil (1985,  R)
Brazil
Kind of hard to understand, but really neat to watch. Not as weird as I was expecting. Very different though.
16
Dead Silence (2007,  R)
17
Wild Hogs (2007,  PG-13)
Wild Hogs
I was expecting this to be kind of lame, but it ended up being quite funny.
18
Killing Zoe (1994,  R)
Killing Zoe
It has everything that sounds like it's going to be a crazy movie, but there just isn't much to it. It's lacking a certain energy.
19
Bottle Rocket (1996,  R)
Bottle Rocket
This was better than expected. It is a different type of humor. It was funny to see Owen Wilson with that hair cut. This was Owen Wilson's AND Luke Wilson's first movie.
20
Delirious (2006,  Unrated)
Delirious
I really liked this. I also liked Michael Pitt in this.
21
Teeth (2007,  R)
Teeth
Definitely something different! Sometimes funny, sometimes very disturbing. Not for everyone.
22
Casshern (2004,  Unrated)
Casshern
Not really my kind of movie. I didn't find it interesting.
23
Son of Rambow (2007,  PG-13)
Son of Rambow
Good.
24
Personal Effects (2009,  R)
Personal Effects
Pretty good.
25
Camping sauvage (Happy Camper) (2004,  Unrated)
Camping sauvage (Happy Camper)
Some funny parts. Overall pretty good.
26
Hamlet 2 (2008,  R)
Hamlet 2
Just a notch under being silly funny or haha funny. It tried to fit into one of these categories, but just wasn't there.
