Maybe because I was sleepy as hell I didn't enjoy it the way I should have. It was decent though, but like someone else said...at the end all I could think was..."This is it?"
I wasn't too keen on seeing this movie, but I said hey, why not..? I heard it would make me cry like a little bitch, and I guess I wanted to prove people wrong....well if I was a betting girl, I would have LOST! After it was revealed she was Allie, and she had dementia...it was about all I could stand...I started bawling and couldn't stop....so damn sad...I NEED A LOVE LIKE THAT!
As dumb as I felt all the characters were, and of course gave a chuckle that Paris Hilton's boyfriend was black...(snicker) I have to admit that even though I tried not to be entertained by this movie, I actually was. It was predictable, and so blatant...but I thought that the scenes with the house melting was actually pretty cool. Only thing that threw me for a loop was the fact that the guy who offered to give them a ride to town was not actually in on the plot.
I loved this movie, a bit of it was hard to swallow, precocious little girl, but the words coming out of her mouth, and her actions, and the savvy to just pop up on someone's doorstep, I find that very far-fetched...I love The Rock, i've never watched his wrestling career, but if someone had told me a pro wrestler could have turned into a convincing actor, I would have lost that bet. He's very convincing in a role that has him all about himself...lol. Very good movie for the kids.
Decent, got way better in the second half. I like Tracy Morgan on SNL, but 2 hours of his voice and acting was a bit much to take in. I'm just glad it didn't end with Cube "getting the girl" that would have just been over the top...*chuckle*
I've been hearing about this movie for a very long time, and just got the power to see it. I am so glad I did. I LOVE this movie, and was thoroughly entertained. Even Will was kinda hot in this movie...lmao! And where exactly was bob marley?
Not what I was expecting, I didn't think it was set in more modern times. I thought it was based in a more tribal settings. It wasn't as touching as I thought it was going to be, and I didn't get the point of her riding on a whale to her death....it was okay.
This is a really touching and beautiful movie. I can't believe it took me all these years to see it. Julia didn't look so hideously ugly in it, and I loved the performances of Olympia (nice name) and Shirley. Hannah was just weird and they never explained her turn to religion all of a sudden.
This movie fell a little flat for me. The characters were pretty much unbelievable, and they'd like you to believe that young black men really act that way...they do, but Bow Wow's version was just a bit over the top. There were a few funny moments, but not enough, and Steve Harvey's character was just not really funny. I'm glad I netflixed it and didn't go to the theater to see this.
Horrible movie. I like Dre as an actor, just did not enjoy this film at all. Snoop was horrible, and I would have enjoyed seeing him NOT act as himself...*rolls eyes* The funniest scenes in this movie of course had to be with Eminem. So boring, and worthless...my sister told me....
I love gangster movies. I love Italians. There are so many good quotes in this movie. It took ages for me to finally see it and I'm glad that I did. In a word...this movie is EPIC!
I don't know if it was because I was extremely tired when I saw this film, but it didn't really do it for me. I like car movies, and they're really fun, but this one wasn't too fun at all. No races really, and it just sort of plodded along. Meh...
Very cute movie. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Little predictable, but hell what movie isn't most of the time. Loved the special effects, and the storyline, and Ahkmenra was kinda hot....lol
It was decent....not as "thrilling" as it could have been....maybe it was because most of the dialogue flew over my head...didn't really know what was going on till the end....*shrugs*
Finally saw this movie...it was hilarious, I didn't think it would be as funny as everyone said it was though...I loved all the characters in the movie, and that's rare...Definitely worth watching more than once.
I thought it was funny in parts and I liked MM's southern drawl...SJP's little screams were getting on my nerves, but that's just because I don't like her too much. Zooey was awesome, because I like the deadpan mentality (i.e. Daria) Good date movie and something to see if you want to open the door to talk about commitments and "the next step" lol
It's hard being black to look at these types of movies without hating a particular race, but you try to move past it, and remember that it's (supposedly) not how we live today, and to learn and grow from past mistakes...Of course I have no idea about any football lingo, so all I can say is I know they won...hurray!
Not something I was expecting to touch me as emotionally as it did. That's what I get for watching holiday movies when it's not even a holiday. This movie had me wishing it were that easy to have a family come together. Couldn't help but feel a bit envious.
I still felt they could have gotten younger looking characters. It's very hard to imagine Blake Lively as anyone else, but a rich snob on Gossip Girl, even though she was big headed in this movie, it's just not the same...Jenna Boyd (Bailey) was really cute though.
I don't even know how to react to this film. I honestly like it and hate it at the same time. Seeing as how it is a film, and fantasy, I can appreciate it for it's artistic side, but seeing it as an outlet for some other sick minded shit, I am sort of angered by this film. I wonder who the parents are and how they rationalized using their kids in this type of film. I know for one that my daughter would never be in anything like this. Dumbfounded is all I can say....
Heart-wrenching, touching, and sad. I could see so much of myself in the protagonist. This movie captures what it's like to be an outcast very well. I wouldn't watch it again though, I don't need to be reminded of my life.
Seeing as this is a Finnish film, I'm guessing that would be why the actors didn't really display too many emotions? That was one of the first things I noticed, the lead male didn't display his emotions at times where it was warranted. Overall a good movie, but the ending was a little abrupt, even though I can only guess where they are going from there. Solid performances though.
Yeah, only because it had Sandra Bulllock in it....this movie is pretty terrible. I mean...the boy learns his mother his killed and not a single tear throughout the whole entire movie...the only one showing any emotion in the damn thing was Sandra...lol. Pretty bad....
Okay, he got her mugged and she is just going to accept the words "I love you" and fly away to a tropical island with him??? That shit is crazy! ONLY because it had Sandra in it at all is why I watched this movie!
My second time bending movie in a row....wow. This movie is actually pretty damn funny. I don't know what I thought it was about, but it obviously wasn't it. I'm glad I watched it.
This movie is surprisingly good. I didn't appreciate the "ghetto black folks" and the "bourgeois uppity black folk" but it was a very solid movie! Worth checking out.
FINALLY! A movie she's starring in...and it starts off with the first of many formulaic nerdy/hottie transformations. I love this movie, cause I love her...lol.
It was decent. Could have been a whole lot better...but nice effort. Jeff was reminiscent of a dude who is trying not to sound as retarded as he is....
A bottle of wesson as sensual oil....AHAHAHAHAAAAA Cause i'm a blond...the best song EVER made....lmao!!!! But my goal is to be a veterinarian because I love children....omg!! Jeff Goldblum was actually kinda hot in this movie. It was terribly cheesy and silly, but still overall a good movie. I laughed, so it achieved it's purpose...
It was crazy how all the guys had awesome asses! Another movie where she was regulated to be "the girlfriend" but she was still good in it. The movie made no sense at all...Who shot Pat? He shot himself! And no one seemed to care! lol
Sandra was stunning in this movie, even though she was a bit vulgar....lol. I thought this was a pretty good movie, and it was funny that she (Sandra) ended up with the weirdo in the movie. Pretty decent.
It took me a minute to get through this movie (2 days) and Sandra wasn't even in it for all of 15 minutes....and they KILL HER!!! *cries* She gone stop dying on me!!
This movie is so frustrating and sad! I felt so bad for the aliens who just wanted to go home. It's so funny how they can interact and talk with each other, but not use each others languages. I didn't get parts of the movie, and was left wondering a few things. But I'm sure there will be a sequel and it will all be explained then. Great movie with lots of gory parts....
I'm so biased...these movies will never be as good as the books. The first one was the best one. I was surprisingly entertained by this movie, but I will always prefer the books.

Well me wanting to find a good horror flick to actually SCARE me and not just gross me out...it was decent...my only question was how did Mike know who his sister was and how did he find her? But whatever....it was decent....

I found this movie hilarious and crazy...I'm so pissed that a lot of my co-workers think I embody the crazy angry white chick who exposes her hairy crotch to people (I do NOT have a hairy crotch!) Anyway....she was the only person who had me laughing out loud...loved it!

Having never seen a single National Lampoon movie, I was entertained and laughed a lot...the premise of the movie was unbelievable and kinda sad, but it worked in a weird way. Of course the ending would TOTALLY not happen on anyone's campus, but hence the power of hollywood.
I love Jackie Chan and I love the humor he brings to his movies as well as the action. I'm also fond of the fat dude in the movie as well....good times...
Since I barely remember seeing the anime and I've never read the manga, I'm not too biased about it. Being a Jackie Chan movie, I knew it was going to be slapstick and kinda goofy...but I enjoyed it for what it was.
I was forced to watch this movie...I am not a Van Damme fan, but I suffered through it. I thought Lela Rochon was pretty, but I didn't like they had Rob Schneider in it. He just looked out of place....
Decent try with a few laughs, but nothing like the first movie, and the fact that they had my "twin" as the hostess and not waiting tables kinda left me sad....would have been better if she was on the floor...but a good effort
I've seen this movie before and watching it again, it was cool to see the parts I didn't remember. It was cool seeing Summer Glau before she was a big bad terminator robot chick...but funny that she was playing an unaffected "robotic" character again....
This movie was EPIC!!I! I loved it. This is one of Brad Pitt's best roles ever. I loved everyone in this film. I'm definitely going to see this one again and again, and probably own it.
This movie was funny....Couple of laugh out loud drop your jaw moments, but the story itself was full of holes but damn entertaining....worth it just for the funny fucked up dialogue and the parts where you try to test your wit trying to figure out what was supposed to be there.
I was very hesitant about watching this movie. I will say that I had never planned on ever watching this movie. Upon the request of my sister, I popped it in. Having never read the books probably helped it some. I actually really enjoyed the movie and thought it was well played out. I will probably be in line to see the second installment.
