I would rate this third overall in the series.It loses some points because the ending basically rehashes the ending of A New Hope,i.e. the Death Star run and subsequent destruction of the DS.That being said it's still a great film with a lot of strong stuff in it:the Jabba the Hut scenes,Yoda's death scene,the Emperor,the final Vader vs Luke confrontation,etc.Speaking of Luke,what is up with Hamill's hair in this?It looks like he got a bowl cut by Stevie Wonder,or maybe Lucas wanted to save some money because of all the effects and cut it himself,I dunno. |
