Stepmom (1998, PG-13)
I just gonna say WOW for this movie... A beautiful portrait of broken family from Chris Columbus... It's just great... The cast... They were brilliant... Especially Susan Sarandon, she's portrait like a true mother who got a cancer.. So sad... Almost makes me cry... Julia Roberts shows great act too and so does Ed Harris... But they two just like a 'beginner' in front of Susan Sarandon... She's the central attention for this movie... And the two kids, played brilliantly by Jena Malone and Liam Aiken... They two shows a nature act like a kid in the broken home condition... They're shows that they have futures in Hollywood... A great movie with great cast... I just loved it the first time I see it... |

The Faculty (1998, R)
I really didn't expect this movie is an alien invasion theme movie just like 'Invasion Of The Body Snatchers', but it's pretty nice... And I really shocked when knowing the cast, they can have Josh Hartnett, Elijah Wood, and Salma Hayek... The story itself just too close to the teenagers life so I think the adults not really enjoying it, but I enjoyed it... This movie really thrills me, just like what I got when I watched 'The Invasion'... Nice teens alien movie, it's pretty thrills me and the story itself pretty shocked me... |

A good reborn for the hero in mask, Zorro.... Antonio Banderas played it great... And having Anthony Hopkins in this movie have a great effect too... And the charming Catherine Zeta Jones... she's great... the thing I don't like from this movie is the script... They didn't get it well... I think the script could have better than this and the reborn thing... shouldn't take a very long time I think... |

Actually, it wasn't that bad... This movie about robbery in bank or houses, just doing okay... George Clooney himself really proves that besides he good at the politics movie, he also good at the criminal movie which is robbery movie... But the story didn't going pretty well, that just makes me a little confused... Yet George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez acts, still disappointing.. |
