Movies To Review

Good movie. Sad but happy at the end. Good twist as well.

One of the better horror movies.

Well I know i loved it...

Not the best Superman movie but not a bad attempt. Bradon Routh wouldn't be my first choice as Superman and Clark Kent but his performance was average. Kate Bosworth did a good job as Lois Lane but it was nothing special. A must see for super hero movie fans but other than that I would recommend it as a must see. Nothing compared to the Christopher Reeve films.

Not as good as the first one but still a fairly good movie.

Was only really interested in seeing this because of the cast. I'll pretty much watch anything Drew Barrymore is in and recently i've been enjoying quite a few of Mary Stuart Masterson's films.
For what it is, it's not bad. Obviously it's far from good and if you're looking for quality western then perhaps you better look else where because I doubt very much that many people would describe this film as quality. But if you're looking for cheap entertainment and are prepared to suspend disbelief then this is as good as any.
The film follows four prostitutes who are forced to go on the run after one of them shoots a local man. In most westerns you really wouldn't expect much to happen after an incident like this. But with a religious crowd gathering a large following, they demand justice. As the girls flee, they are followed by a couple of, what can only be described as, bounty hunters. They attempt to make a fresh start, by stealing from a bank (not in the way you'd expect but still). After this point, things get a bit contrived as the writers begin the throw in way too many details than is necessary.
One of the girls is taunted by men she used to roll with. Another discovers her land is not rightfully hers without her husband. There is also love interest thrown in and problems with a dead father. I don't think they could have given the characters more ghosts if they tried.
It is only really explained why one of the girls is able to shoot like a pro and ride a horse better than the professionals in the film. I guess all the others just have natural ability with this sort of thing.
The performances aren't terrible. They're not great either. For the most part all of the actors involved, i've seen them do better.
Still, even with its flaws, I didn't hate it. Can't say i'll be watching it again any time soon though.
