  Galeocerdo's Rating My Rating
1
Inception (2010,  PG)
Inception
Like most of the rest of the world, I am eager to see Christopher Nolan's follow-up act to his career-defining megahit, even if it means Batman 3 has to wait.
2
Iron Man 2 (,  Unrated)
Iron Man 2
This will be a disappointment if it is anything less than a significantly bigger, better payoff of its predecessor's glimpsed potential.
3
Cemetery Junction (2010,  Unrated)
Cemetery Junction
Ricky Gervias and Stephen Merchant.
4
The Tree of Life (2010,  Unrated)
The Tree of Life
An immensely ambitious new project from a talented filmmaker who likes to explore new territory in his medium. This might be everything Darren Aronofsky couldn't quite manage with The Fountain.
5
Alice in Wonderland (2010,  Unrated)
Alice in Wonderland
I suspect this will be like a blend between Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Burton is best when he takes risks, and this does not strike me as being particularly audacious, but I admit it piques my curiosity.
6
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I (2010,  Unrated)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I
His last two films were more than adequate, but I won't trust that David Yates was the right man for the job until I see it. And I hope John Williams gets a chance to cap his own original score.
7
Silence (2010,  Unrated)
Silence
This could be a masterpiece if it ever sees the light of day.
8
The Wolfman (2010,  R)
The Wolfman
The cast alone will be worth the ticket price, and it's an old school remake of a horror classic. What's not to like?
9
The Green Hornet (2010,  Unrated)
The Green Hornet
I was disappointed to hear that Stephen Chow left the project, but Michael Gondry is an interesting director, so I am still curious.
10
Shutter Island (2010,  Unrated)
Shutter Island
The latest from Martin Scorsese. A possible Oscar nominee?
11
Toy Story 3 (2010,  Unrated)
Toy Story 3
Pixar does no wrong, and I trust that the cast and filmmakers wouldn't attempt this unless they were sure they had something.
12
Robin Hood (2010,  Unrated)
Robin Hood
An excellent cast and a good director looking for a comeback.
