welll i think everyone knows what this movie. is ranked number one on alot of best movie liists in my top 2 along with pulp fiction. the corleone family and there business are not willing to sell drugs and this starts a war with other gangsters. brandos second best performance as vito corleone won him his second oscar th rest of the cast is very good as well . espescially duvall . a must see if you like films and havent seen this movie there is something wrong with you

top 5 coppolas 2nd masterpiece has deniro taking over brandos spot as vito when he was young and his rise to power. deniro won his second oscar portraying vito doing hois whole performance in italian only speaking a couple of english words. the film overlaps young vito and present day michael as the new godfather. a classic like the first some going as far as to say its even better then the first

well where do i begin. i was soo happy before i watched this movie.if you know me then u know that deniro is my 2nd favorite actor and pacino is my 3rd. when i watched the trailor it didnt look like a bad movie. i mean deniro and pacino together so u expect the movie to just be ok, i saw a quentin tarantino interview before where he said that if these two actors were to make a film together the film wouldnt hoild up it would never be good. these two are two of the best actors who ever lived so if they were ever together in a movie the movie would not be good. now i know that tarantino knows his films but i just didnt 100% believe it. i knew to an extent what he said was true but i had high hopes. i mean they were together in heat well sort of. only like 5-10 min together onscreen. but they were both in the film and it was an ok movie,(a 4 out of 5 star movie)so when i saw the trailor for righteous kill i was so happy for one the first pairing of the two legends were they are together the whole movie and not only that but they are friends in the movie. the trailor doesnt look bad it made me want to see the movie right away. i mean obviously i would have seen this movie no matter how bad it looked. i dont care if it was an hour and a half long and had deniro and pacino walking in the woods i still would have seen it.so about the movie. deniro and pacino are two veteran detectives who frame a criminal thta gets away with murder because they cant stand to see him get away with it. then the killing of criminals starts. SPOILER BELOW: so deniro starts letting out his rage by killing thse scum criminals or so we think. but this leads to one of the dumbest twists ever in a movie. is wasnt him it was actually pacino framing deniro. soooo stupid. that alone took my rating down from an already low 3 star to a 2 and a half. i wanted to give it higher just because the star power from these two icons but i just couldnt. i hate to say it but tarantino was right. ( should of known he would be right he really knows his movies)for this movie to of been able to hold the power of deniro and pacino it wouldve neede to have been written by a screenwriter that has as much talent as a writer that they have as actors. and directed by a much better director then avnet. as the acting goes it wasnt anywere close to either of ther ebest but it also wasnt there worst. deniro was the better of the two though actng out his agression. he also had the bigger and better part. but like i said it would have been better if deniro would have been the one doing the killing like we were led to believe. pacino was just ok in a somewhat smaller leading role. its not ther fault the filmed isnt good. or actually maybe it is because they are soo good the film cant keep up with them. but im sure it will make its money in the box office. who doesnt want to see deniro and pacino together?? ohh and another cool thing 50 cent near the end right before he gets shot and hes on his cell phone he says u miss me. the phone that he uses in the movie is the same cell phone i have right now, same color and everything. its a katana 2 phone through sprint black and grey. when i saw him with the phone up to his ear i was like whoa thats my phone .lol no matter what worth a watch !!!!!!
