Punisher: War Zone (2008, R)
I loved the comic book so much. Punisher was one of my fav Marvel comic anti-hero's. I loved the last Punisher movie as it was Punisher brought to true life were this movie War Zone is so so true to the Marvel Knights comic book. Over the top out right violent vengeance! Heads exploding, people impailed on spikes, guns, guts and out right Action. |

Daredevil (2003, PG-13)
Its Mavel comic book hero Daredevil's turn to be brought to life from ink to screen. A blind man that has advanced highten senses due to a toxic waste accident as a child dawns a red leather suit and devil mask to put the fear into the thugs and bad guys of hells kitching. Daredevil known as the man without fear is a layer by day and a crime fighter by night. Haunted from the murder of his father he seeks revenge on any lowlife he can find untill he can bring down the King Pin of crime. Daredevil wasnt the most popular comic book for Mavel, it had more of a cult folwing from fans and was a little shocked when it was picked for Marvel's next movie. |

Batman Returns (1992, PG-13)
DC's Dark Knight returns to face more than one villan in the streets of Gothham this time. Such a dark and sinister movie the way that DC intended Batman to be not the bright Adam West Batman hear (although Adam West was a great Batman). Danny DeVito is so amazing in this film his best performance ever! |

Spider-Man (2002, PG-13)
The first Spider-man movie since the very poor Amazing spiderman movie some time ago. I see this the day it came out being the huge comic book geek that i am. I was keen to see if they would keep to the original story line of how Spider-man got his powers. Well what can i say not only did they keep it along the same line they made it better! Also bringing the Green Goblin story to life right from the start. Althogh i wasnt to keen on the Green Goblin 'flight' suit as it looked like a Jap kids program reject, Willem Dafoe was an amazing villan. This film made Spider-man evers onces hero of choice and also brought Spider-man into the futre by making this movie a little darker than the comics ever were. I thought that would be a major problem for Marvel films as Marvels comics were so shiny and full of goody goody super heros that abided by the law (apart from a few i may add 'Wolverine, Blade etc), which i fell wouldnt have looked right in todays day and age. Look out DC comics looks like MArvel may have a darker side! |
