G.I. Jane (1997,  R)
G.I. Jane
Demi Moore does the most amazing and daring performance of her career in this powerful action film.
2
Gallipoli (1981,  PG)
Gallipoli
Fantastic story of two champion runners who volunteers as soldiers in 1915 to see the worlds. Really sad at the final scene by losing one of soldiers through the shoot-out war.
3
Game of Death (1978,  R)
Game of Death
The climactic 20 minutes of Bruce Lee in action fighting Kareem Abdul-Jabber and Danny Inosanto are thrilling. But the rest of the film is not.
4
Si wang ta (Game of Death II) (1981,  R)
Si wang ta (Game of Death II)
I like the final battle - Bruce Lee's brother vs his best friend turned killer - the most fastest and longest martial arts.
5
Gangs of New York (2002,  R)
Gangs of New York
Brilliant story of friendship, love, loyality and revenge on the mean streets of 1860's New York. Daniel Day-Lewis makes an excellent performance as the villian.
6
Garage Days (2003,  R)

Spectacular Aussie comedy on sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll. Pia Miranda's cool in her 'angry management' performance.

Ghost (1990,  R)
Ghost
Amazing popular film that surprises you, delights you and makes you believe.

The Ghost and the Darkness
What a true breaktaking and thrilling with courageous two hunters hunting the 'beast'.
13
Ghost Rider (2007,  PG-13)
Ghost Rider
This is getting more exciting than the director's latest Marvel movie, Daredevil. The scenes of Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage) who transforms into Ghost Rider look fantastic with cool special visual and effects including his 'hell-motorcycle'. The locations where this movie was filmed are familiar around at my hometown, Melbourne, pretending to be called Texas, USA.
14
Ghost Busters (Ghostbusters) (1984,  PG)
Ghost Busters (Ghostbusters)
Packed with great gags and amazing effects, this is a wonderfully infectious movie with Murray, Weaver and Moranis giving particularly enjoyable performances.
15
Ghostbusters 2 (1989,  PG)
Ghostbusters 2
There are some reasonable gags, the fun is all a touch deja vu.
16
Giant (1956,  G)
Giant
Absolutely 1956 epic about a cattle-ranching family still packs a punch. Although the lead performances by Elizabeth Taylor, Rock Hudson and James Dean are amazing in their character from 20s to aged "older" with make-up.
17
The Gift (2000,  R)
The Gift
Amazing psychological thriller and Cate Blanchett makes a riveting performance by using her clairvoyant talents. Also good mesmerising performances from a talented emsemble cast.

Interesting true story and it's the women's "Once Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest".
19
Gladiator (1992,  R)
Gladiator
Great illegal boxing sequences.
20
Gladiator (2000,  R)
Gladiator
Excellent epic story of a general became a slave, then became the gladiator. Russell Crowe has a better performance in this movie.
21
Go (1999,  R)
Go
Frenetic 24 hours in the live of some LA twentysomethings, as seen from several points of view. But others may find it too much like a junior "Pulp Fiction".
22
The Gods Must Be Crazy (1980,  PG)
The Gods Must Be Crazy
This is the first time I watched a South African comedy film - wonderfully, screamingly and tearfully funny.

Goin' South
Amusing comedy-western that Jack Nicholson also directed.
25

Pierce Brosnan's debut 007 role was incredible. I waited to look forward for the next Bond movie after 6 years, that was long delay.

The Good Girl
Jennifer Aniston is better than 'good' in this critically acclaimed comedy.

The Good Son
Astounding thriller and quite alike "The Omen". Macaulay Culkin makes a good performance as evil kid.
30
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Il Buono, il Brutto, il Cattivo.) (1966,  R)

The Goonies
My favourite childhood film that makes me laugh heaps. Excellent adventure movie for kids.
32
Gorgeous (Boh lee chun) (1999,  PG-13)
Gorgeous (Boh lee chun)
With several fight scenes - the two with the agile Allan are mini-classics and Jackie's one with baseball bats is highly inventive.
33
Gothika (2003,  R)
Gothika
Amazing insanely creepy.
34
Grand Canyon (1991,  R)
Grand Canyon
The Lawrence Kasdan's unlifting drama film is quite alright, but "The Big Chill" is the best Kasden movie of the year.
35
Graveyard Shift (1990,  R)
Graveyard Shift
Boring and bit creepy of a 'monster'.
36
Grease (1978,  PG)
Grease
This is my very best muscial movie of the 1970s, excellent and cleverly blend toe-tapping songs, these characters are so hilarious and reckless. John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John are perfect in their performances as the lovesick high-school couple. Stockard Channing is terrific, too.

More scarier since USA's remake "The Ring".

Surprising comedy and good choice for Julia Stiles because she's so beautiful than Selma Blair to give a better match for Jason Lee.
51

A Good Year
Great funny, touching, romantic and lovely film about an Englishman (Russell Crowe) who finds his soul when he loses his heart to a French beauty and inherits a vineyard in the South of France from his late uncle.
