Pale Rider (1985,  R)
Pale Rider
Eastwood returned to his western film since "The Outlaw Josey Wales".
3
Panic Room (2002,  R)
Panic Room
Good psych-thriller cult film as Jodie Foster did a great job by protecting her teen daughter in the hiding place away from the intruders.
4
The Paper (1994,  R)
The Paper
Great ensemble comedy-drama about a New York Daily tabloid newspaper with Michael Keaton as an editor who has a few hours to get the scoop on a murder and stop cost-conscious managing editor Glenn Close from printing a sensationalistic cover that implies two innocent youngsters are guilty.
5
The Parent Trap (1998,  PG)
The Parent Trap
My favourite Walt Disney's funny family movie and Lindsay Lohan did good performance in her debut film as a pair of twins.
6
Paris When It Sizzles (1964,  Unrated)
Paris When It Sizzles
Good comedy-romance tale of a screenwriter and his secretary who act out story scenarios in an attempt to knock out a script in 48 hours.
7
Passenger 57 (1992,  R)
Passenger 57
Slam-bang action film is an airbourne variation on Die Hard. Featuring a strong lead performance by Wesley Snipes, this little gem is so exciting, funny, suspenseful, and packed with great bits that you don't dare take your eyes off the screen for a second.
8
The Patriot (2000,  R)
The Patriot
Two thumbs up for Mel Gibson's war epic. I couldn't stop crying at the scene of the hero's younger daughter called him "Papa!" at finally before he got ready to leave and continue the war mission. How emotional.
9
Patriot Games (1992,  R)
Patriot Games
One of an excellent thriller and Harrison Ford is one of the best Jack Ryan character in Ryan thriller films based on Tom Clancy's novels.
10
Patty Hearst (1988,  R)
Patty Hearst
Strange true story of the kidanpping of an American Princess as I believe what happened to her.
11
Payback (1999,  R)
Payback
Mel Gibson makes an unstoppable force in this nasty tale of a burglar whose chutzpah is larger than his common sense, and who stubbornly takes on the entire big-city criminal empire in order to retrieve what he perceives is his share of a recent heist. The story is wholly improbable and violent as hell, but Gibson's irresistible... even as a bad guy.
12
Paycheck (2003,  PG-13)
Paycheck
Fantastic futuristic thriller that combines spectacular action with a spellbinding mystery of what director John Woo made. Ben Affleck and Uma Thurman are very coooool team-up in their actions including car/motorcycle chases and fight scenes!
13
The Peacemaker (1997,  R)
The Peacemaker
I always watch the best scenes of George Clooney and Nicole Kidman chasing after a nuclear terrorist around New York City that thrills me.
14
Pearl Harbor (2001,  PG-13)
Pearl Harbor
Wow, what a thrilling war and great story of love, loss and heroism with two boys' adventures in the World War II. I was little sadly and cried a bit at the final scene about losing one of best friends and pilots during the war.
15
The Pelican Brief (1993,  PG-13)
The Pelican Brief
Brilliant suspenseful adaptation of the bestselling novel by John Grisham. Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington are the perfect pairs by finding the truth behind the killings of two Supreme Courts justices.
16
Perfect (1985,  R)
Perfect
Quite average comedy-drama, but Jamie Lee Curtis looked bloody hot.
17
The Perfect Score (2004,  PG-13)
The Perfect Score
Fantastic comedy-drama of six students decide to break i n and steal the answers to a crucial high school exam. Of course, on the poster that I believe this film is like The Breakfast Club meets Ocean's Eleven.
18
The Perfect Storm (2000,  PG-13)
The Perfect Storm
Unbelievable true disaster story in this dramatisation of the events that befall fishing boat Andrea Gale and its crew is a major washout.
19
A Perfect World (1993,  PG-13)
A Perfect World
Eastwood and Costner confront each other from opposite sides of the law in this movie. Costner has a great performance as a person escape and the father figure with a young hostage.
20
Pet Sematary (1989,  R)
Pet Sematary
Bit weird of Stephen King's pet graveyard horror flick. The only truly horrific things there are the dialogue and acting.
21
Pet Sematary Two (1992,  R)
Pet Sematary Two
After burying the corpse of animals and people in the local Indian burial grounds, then that frightened me a bit when they resurrected as the evil. Better than the original.
22
The Phantom (1996,  PG)
The Phantom
Billy Zane did a decent job of looking like a believable square-jawed hero, but there was just no way to dress someone in purple spandex without them looking like a ribena mascot.
23
The Piano (1993,  R)
The Piano
Incredible tale of mute pianist on a marshy New Zealand isle and this has mix of high romanticism, melodrama, erotic perversity and stylistic modernism. Holly Hunter makes an excellent performance and more impressive with use her sign languages without her voice in this film.
24
The Pick-Up Artist (1987,  PG-13)
The Pick-Up Artist
Ladies' man Robert Downey Jr. puts the make on gutsy Molly Ringwald with lines Cleopatra would have recognised. Downey displays as much charisma as a pot plant and would have trouble picking up a cold. Proof positive that it is possible to have Danny Aiello, Dennis Hopper and Harvey Keitel in a film and for it still to be unbearably tedious.
25
Pink Cadillac (1989,  PG-13)
Pink Cadillac
Clint Eastwood's cool as a master of disguise to nail his target.
26
Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003,  PG-13)
Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl
Very thrilling and amazing high-seas adventure of pirate movie I ever see. Johnny Depp's character is great and funny.
27
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006,  PG-13)
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow is really funny in this swashbuckling film as what I think he is the most favourite character of Pirates of the Caribbean films. I was very surprised at the end scene who appeared and survived from the original.
28
Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End (2007,  PG-13)
Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End
Gee... what an amazing adventure of pirates and really good funny with Captain Jack Sparrow could do better than Captain Barbossa. This prequel is getting more better and exciting than the sequel only - plenty of wild rides and swordfighting. but in the pirate council scenes make me so confused.
29
Planet of the Apes (2001,  PG-13)
30
Planet Terror (Grindhouse Presents: Robert Rodriguez's Planet Terror) (2007,  R)
Planet Terror (Grindhouse Presents: Robert Rodriguez's Planet Terror)
This Robert Redriguez cult film is huge thriller and also funnier as well as less about 1970s exploitation than it is early 1980s video nasties.
It boasts all the hallmarks of that genre veteran in addition to the crazy sensibilities of Italian zombie/virus shockers of the 1970s and 1980s.
Complete with scratches, major print damage and a missing reel that gave me the real memory when I was a kid from watching the film at drive-ins. Rodriguez ensures his Grindhouse offering looks authentic.
Amazing ensemble cast including Rose McGowan is the mostly fantastic performance as the leg-gun-toting heroine and looking very sexy.
31
Pleasantville (1998,  PG-13)
Pleasantville
That movie reminds me the classic B&W TV sitcoms like "I Love Lucy" and "Leave It to Beaver".
32
Police Academy (1984,  R)
Police Academy
This incredible and raucous comedy is really hilarious. When Lt Harris (G.W. Bailey) acceidentally jumps off the motorbike through the horse's ass in his head that makes me can't stop laugh including a bunch of unlikely recruits at the Police Academy. HA! HA! Can't shut my mouth. HA! HA!
33
Huang gu shi jie (Police Assassins) (Yes, Madam) (1985,  Unrated)
Huang gu shi jie (Police Assassins) (Yes, Madam)
Michelle Yeoh and Cynthia Rothrock kick it up into the red zone in this searing action-thriller.
34
Ging chaat goo si (Police Story) (Jackie Chan's Police Force) (1985,  R)
Ging chaat goo si (Police Story) (Jackie Chan's Police Force)
The bestest one of 1980's Hong Kong action-comedy film with Jackie and his awesome stunts and fast-actions in the shopping mall.
35
Police Story II (1988,  PG-13)
Police Story II
Coolest Jackie Chan police movie, loved the scenes of Jackie's punch onto his enemy's shattered glasses four times.
36
Poltergeist (1982,  PG)
Poltergeist
Marvelously ghost story, sort of Close Encounters of the supernatural, it's a scary story about the light of a suburban family whose home suddently becomes a house of horrors.
37
Poltergeist II: the Other Side (1986,  PG-13)
Poltergeist II: the Other Side
They're baaaaaack! Fine scary ghosts, but spectacular special effects and excellent ensemble acting.
38
Poltergeist III (1988,  PG-13)
Poltergeist III
They're baaaaaack again and it's the final chapter for the evil Reverend Kane and his terror followers. Cool heart-pounding suspense and scary special effects. I felt really sorry for poor innocent young actress Heather O'Rourke who died so young during filming this movie production.
39
Porky's (1982,  R)
Porky's
Really hilarious and the best comedy teen adult flick of the 1980s. I couldn't still stop laughing while Kim Cattrall is howling while having sex with a coach in boys' change room. And an ugly and fat female coach talking to the principal to find the 'tallywacker' who perverted her girls' shower, I followed three male coaches who was also guffawing.
40
The Poseidon Adventure (1972,  PG)
The Poseidon Adventure
This film is great disaster, highly imaginative and lustily-produced meller that socks over the dramatic struggle of 10 passengers to save themselves after an ocean liner capsizes. Gene Hackman is the best performance as a free-talking minister who keeps his cool and assumes leadership of the small group.
41
Xun cheng ma (The Postman Strikes Back) (Patrol Horse) (1981,  R)
Xun cheng ma (The Postman Strikes Back) (Patrol Horse)
Great epic adventure of heroism set in the early days of the Chinese Republic, this Hong Kong film is an engaging mix of drama, intrigue and red-blooded fight-action. I thought of Chow Yun-Fat and Leung Kar-Yan are the best fighters as two of four heroes who embark on a secret mission.
42
Practical Magic (1998,  PG-13)
Practical Magic
Deliciously wicked and sweet entertaining story! Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are devilishly sexy as the spell-casting sisters doomed to be single for the rest of their natural life... and Stockard Channing and Diane Wiest are also enchanting as their aunts that have raised them on chocolate cake and midnight margaritas! Aidan Quinn rounds out the superb cast as a detective determined to find out the truth behind the disappearance of a wanted killer.
43
Predator (1987,  R)
Predator
Too violent, but some great effects of a shape-shifting alien.
44
Predator 2 (1990,  R)
Predator 2
More hunting than the original. Danny Glover's great in this film against the shifty one from Outer Space he called it a ugly motherfucker.
45
The Presidio (1988,  R)
The Presidio
Fantastic murder mystery with police detective Mark Harmon and military provost marshal Sean Connery investigating a murder on military base. Forgot the plot and enjoy seeing Connery excel in a tailor-made role.
46
Presumed Innocent (1990,  R)
Presumed Innocent
Cool mystery story of Ford, on screen with that haircut, is accused of murdering his ex-mistress.
47
Pretty in Pink (1986,  PG-13)
Pretty in Pink
Cool John Hughes' teen comedy picture with Molly Ringwald again of the 1980s since Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club.
48
Pretty Woman (1990,  R)
Pretty Woman
Julia Roberts and Richard Gere are my favourite couple stars in this hot comedy film.
49
Primal Fear (1996,  R)
50
The Principal (1987,  R)
51
Private Benjamin (1980,  R)
Private Benjamin
This comedy is at its best in the first half, when Goldie Hawn, as a spoiled Jewish princess, joins the army. The last part of the movie gets a little heavy on the message end, but Hawn's buoyant personality makes it easy to take.
52
Proof (1991,  R)
Proof
A bizarre but superb drama on the emotional games three people play, wittily and pereceptively captured by novice writer-director Jocelyn Moorhouse and acted with total conviction and sympathy.
53
Proof of Life (2000,  R)
Proof of Life
Terrific romantic-thriller as this is my best one of kidnapped / rescue story of the movies in the history.
54
Project A (1983,  PG-13)
Project A
Jackie Chan's the best fast, furious and non-stop action and team-up with Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao. The three greatest Hong Kong action legends were incredible as these are like brothers.
55
'A' gai waak juk jaap (Project A, Part II) (Jackie Chan's Project A2) (1991,  PG-13)
'A' gai waak juk jaap (Project A, Part II) (Jackie Chan's Project A2)
Jackie Chan at his most reckless and brilliant: the danger level involved in each of his amazing stunt-sequences is quite simply off the seale!
56
Project A-Ko (1986,  Unrated)
Project A-Ko
Really funny and great entertain as one of my bestest Anime & Magna. I really love A-Ko's actions against her sworn enemies to protect her little friend from different world. C-Ko is driving me little crazy like she acts as a little girl, not teen girl.
57
The Protector (Tom yum goong) (Warrior King) (2005,  R)
The Protector (Tom yum goong) (Warrior King)
WHOA! OW! WHOO! AMAZING Thailand martial arts epic film with Tony Jaa since Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior. Jaa is terrific and more better than Hong Kong's Jackie Chan and Jet Li in his incredible fight scenes. He delivers "bone-breaking thrills and amazing gravity-defying action" performed without stunt doubles, wires or CGI. I love final showdown of battle scene between Tony Jaa and Nathan B. Jones that gave me a big jaw-dropping.
58
Psycho (1960,  R)
Psycho
Janet Leigh did a great performance in the motel shower scenes. And the final scene creeps me out.
59
Pulp Fiction (1994,  R)
Pulp Fiction
Writer-director Quentin Tarantino spares the viewer little in this tale of the underbelly of L.A., where philosophising hit men and techno-druggies live on the thrill-packed edge. This cult movie is bloody fantastic and that shot John Travolta's career full of adrenaline.
60
Pump up the Volume (1990,  R)
Pump up the Volume
Awesome teen comedy of the mystery young disc jockey.
61
The Punisher (2004,  R)
The Punisher
This new Marvel anti-hero seems better than Dolph Lundgren's 1989 film because of the costume and non-stop action.
62
Punisher: War Zone (2008,  R)
Punisher: War Zone
What I think of Ray Stevenson as the new title role from Thomas Jane (who played in the 2004 flick) is perfect and he's built like a machine in several action scenes.
This tale based on the Marvel comic book is essentially just death and destruction from the opening frame - and it's awesome! Dominic West is good as Jigsaw, but I felt he might have hammed it up a bit in a few scenes. His "Jigsaw" make-up looks great as creepy like the following The Punisher comic book as the anti-hero's arch-enemy.
63
Prime Cut (1972,  R)
Prime Cut
Sissy Spacek made her film debut in this sleazy but energetic crime thriller about big-times gangsters and the slaughterhouse they use to convert their enemies into sausage is a highly entertaining gangster film with co-stars Lee Marvin and Gene Hackman.
Michael Ritchie takes iconic actors like Marvin and Hackman, who only have to be visible to make an effect. He puts in lots of destruction of property, and neo-Nazi blond bad boys falling by the score. There's shotguns and submachine guns and carnivorous farm equipment and 18-wheel trucks and all sorts of unlikely weapons. And the usual movie dichotomy of country good, city bad is stood on its head, with agriculture fairs and cornfields and sunflower fields as dangerous to life and limb as you could hope for (paging Alfred Hitchcock!).
And young Spacek looked so beautiful and hot in her nudity scenes. Whooo!
