Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Well this was quite a fun Harry Potter film. actually I liked the film better than the book. (while reading the Half blood Prince? I kept falling asleep?NOT A GOOD SIGN!) This one quite cute & sweet. The Hogwarts students are in their awkward crush phase & Lovely Highlight & my sentiments exact.. Hermione: I think I?m going to vomit? (about Ron & Lavender & speaking of Ron? YEAH QUIDDITCH IS BACK!!!! & Ron (like we didn?t know already) ROCKS! & from seeing the first movie (before starting to read the books) I can?t believe how they?ve grown! (NON-READERS SPOILER) PRe-movie anxiety? Will I cry When Dumbledore dies? Yes Will I scream out like someone I know upstate did when Cedric got Avada Kadvra?d to death? NOPE! (spoiler over) For once it was long enough to fit what we remember (usually I don?t remember every little detail like some do, BUT I had no complaints & I didn?t think of anything that should have been in there. It was pleasing (other than Lavender? OMG! She?s not real but annoying! LOL Draco looks like a pole-vaulting Stick he?s so tall. With that.. I?ll just say A!

Twilight
What else woudl I want to see LOL

A little disappointed but SPOIKER if you didn't hear already. Rob Pattison's song he wrote sounds pretty nice.
However parts comeoff stale & there's some things that just don't seem right to me from the movie. Not sure if the acting was all that great either.
196
Devour (2005,  R)
Devour
Revolves around a character named Jake Gray (Ackles) and his friends that have been playing a deadly game called "The Pathway", which eventually spirals out of control and threatens a worldwide epidemic of violence. Oh yeah & Twists at the end.
this is somewhat a freaky movie. Kinda like Stay Alive w/ a twist. Martin Cummins from Poltergeist the legacy is in about 5 minutes of this. (to me doesn?t look like he?s aged much if at all since the 90s! He plays Aiden. (he?s in it cloaked in a hood Jensen
?s character removes & toward the end in a really lux looking house. The movie is ok. & looks funny to see Jensen in it. The movie is from 2005 & I?m guessing that?s the year after Supernatural started. Actually Started the SAME year! Actually The series started in 2005 as well.
197
Macbeth (2006,  Unrated)
Macbeth
another sam Worthington movie (some weird wardrobe he had. the green shirt i like & don't at same time but there was some crazy suits & toward end he's got a freaking kilt thing on!! (good thing I already saw him in one in previews for clash of the titans but a leather one.. I would have fallen on the floor! Done modern (like Romeo & juliet w/ Leo Dicaprio) Not ure what to make of it. But w/ Sam (Macbeth) playing lead I really wasn?t bored. & the part I knew I?d love (& might gross me out?) the Double Double Toil & Trouble part..(well was kinda gross? the table w/ the ingredients on it. Then seeing them drink the concoction had a gag reflex. As already mentioned Sam?s wardrobe was interesting. (One of my amazon purchases) for the witchy part I?ll give it a B For movie wadrobe etc stuff. (& the fact that somehow I understood MOST of the actuall poem? I?ll go B
198
Rogue (Rogue Crocodile) (2008,  R)

(lol you would have been laughing at me watching.. every time sam went into water (or dog got near it) I was like oh no no no!!! Don?t eat the doggie or the hottie!! Its about a Crocky?but a big one. (kinda Lake placid like but if you don?t watch for the movie.. at least watch it for the BEAUTIFUL Landscapes!!! The ending somewhat surprised me?(at least to man vs. Beast) this I think I have to give the least a C highest a B

Marco Polo (2007,  Unrated)
Marco Polo
ian Somerhalder stars as Marco Polo.
Adventure of marco Polo. (I'm bad at History so wouldn't ahve a clue as to if its somewhat based on the history books or not) & well put any of my fave actors in a movie w/ a subject that usually bores me... I'll pay attention. (too bad they couldn't do things like this in school!)

To me the story was interesting. I LOVED the costume of the Kahn empire the travels were interesting as well. Plus the adventure lasts over 2 hours. A 20 year old marco ends up having to stay in the empire for his life. Was not a boring one, for the Emporor found uses of Marco to travel here or there for him.B for Ian?s beard in the movie ?.F. You could tel l it was so fake I saw glue!!

Lords of Dogtown (2005,  PG-13)
201
The Tournament (2009,  R)
The Tournament
Was ok Ian Somerhalder has abotu a total of a half hour in it.
He's kinda a Crazy one in this. He's one of the Assassins, but off his rocker
suppose to be from Texas & has a jacket that made me think.."wanna Be Elvis" (lol)

The movie moves along, its 1 1/2 hours not the best but at least averagely entertaining.
202
Star Trek (2009,  PG-13)
Star Trek
Liek 12 rounds pretty much non stop action w/ jsut the right amount of brething time in between.

I was never into star Trek when I was a kid. My parents watched it I only remember a little here & there. I do howeer know that most if not all the characters use their tag lines at least once in the movie. & Wonder in the series if James Kirk also had a thing for Green women. There was one part I tink I got confused a bit then figured it out. (I think it?s the twist I heard about that the Journal News says ?doesn?t work & from which the film never completely recovers.? Total Entertainment . There?s plenty of action drama & humor throughout the movie. Let?s say You?ve got an action scene for 5 minutes they give you about 10 to catch your breath, Have a laugh & start over from there. (not that it actually goes in a cycle but if not in all some of the action is so intense one scene I swear I was actually holding my breath! Eric Bana (from the first Hulk & the ?Other Bolyn Girl) playing the angry Romulan leader Nero does a pretty cool villain but does need a bit more snarl & meanness. You really cannot recognize who it is until you find out who plays the character. oh & what?s up with the Romulan ship? it looks like a giant spikey hybrid of an octopus & jellyfish.

from the journal news?.

?The source of his vendetta against Spock, & the entire Federation, is revealed as the film progresses (doesn?t it work that way most of the time?!!? duh!!) & it?s a crucial part of that distractingly perplexing twist we mentioned earlier? (what movie were these people watching? another version cause they must be stupid cause the ?twist? is kinda cool & to me not much of a ?twist? .. that?s usually something you don?t see coming. unless its done so smoothly that it doesn?t seem so to me. It didn?t distract me, I wasn?t perplexed really by anything in the movie unless you want to count the one spot that took me a few extra seconds to catch but don?t recall that part that happened. The movie was a lot of fun (my dad even had fun & I want to go see this in the theater again.. maybe I?ll see what I do on Thursday!!!

a Few excerpts from the Journal News review?

?Tickle & provoke purists but might make neophytes to feel a bit lost.? (I never felt ?lost? ) Having said that?, ?Abrams clearly aimed to appeal to the broadest possible audience with his dazziling visual spectacle while also leaving plenty of easter eggs for hardcore fans to find. ?He efficiently & satisfyingly presents the back stories of the men who wil become Capt. James T. Kirk, & the Half Vulcan Half human Mr. Spock and puts them on a collision course with each other, which ups the excitement early. Officer Uhura Zoe Saldana gets to do more than Nichelle ichols ever did on tv Chief Engineer Montgomery ?Scotty? Scott (Simon Pegg Hot Fuzz) in a Lively bit of casting. Reliable helmsman Sulu (John cho ?Harold & Kumar movies) showing he can do more than comedy & the 17- year old supergenius Chekov (Anton Yelchin, doing an intentionally cartoony Russian accent as an homage, even though he really is Russian)?LMAO & boy WAS IT!!!
