Surf's Up (2007,  PG)
Surf's Up 5.0 Stars
Actually, a very very well thought up movie. It seriously had some of the best tone of a movie I have ever seen, the special effects and environment was just so well tented and detailed. I loved John Heder's character (ever since my hated of Napolean Dynamite, he's done pretty damn well) and once again a Shia Lebouf role I didn't despise, what is this world coming to? I still remember his dumb part in I, Robot and his stupid character in Constantine! The villain was probably the only weak point in this movie, which surprisingly was okay.

Beowulf (2007) (2007,  PG-13)
Beowulf (2007) 4.0 Stars
Really good movie, though it didn't go along with the books very well at all. I like how they did Grendel's character, and I loved the twist they put on the plot with that, until Beowulf became king, then the movie took a downfall. I know Beowulf wasn't perfect, but the mistakes he made in the movie seem a little outlandish for the kind of hero Beowulf is. Still the movie was fantastic!

A very well thought out anime of the surrealistic value. I loved this movie, though some parts of it could have had some more explanation than they did, you still got the idea of what exactly was going on. I haven't seen a good anime like this in a while.

A stunning come-back! These people really put forth their whole effort into this one piece of 1 hour and 15 minutes. I must applaud their great writing, and great quality to the animation itself. A definite DVD masterpiece.

It's good to have the old gang back! I loved this movie! It had all of the Futurama randomness you could ever want! I loved every minute of it! Even if it isn't coherent and is sometimes VERY complicated!

Justice League: The New Frontier 5.0 Stars
I loved it! This was a great movie that showed a great beginning to a brilliant franchise of DC heroes! I wasn't crazy about some of the new voice actors, but I understood why some of them changed, mostly because some of them had been in the business for so long. I wasn't crazy about Super Man's part in this, nor was I crazy about them lessening some of the roles of name super heroes, however the ones they did use were quite plentiful, so it doesn't take away from the score! Very good adaption!

Bee Movie (2007,  PG)
Bee Movie 4.5 Stars
A very feel-good movie. I like their sense of humor, and Seinfeld did a good job with the voice acting. However, John Goodman came in and stole some of the spot light ONCE AGAIN! I loved his cameo appearance as the opposing lawyer. There were also some other great guest appearances and some excellent CGI landscaping that make this movie great. The only thing I would change is the plot. I didn't really like the idea of bees going on strike, it was a little too much like Dr. Dolittle 2, and it was kind of a stupid over-antagonizing view of Bee Keepers. Other than that it was a great movie.

Even better than the first one! The computer animation is absolutely amazing, and the characters don't even change from the last one (other than the quality of their art of course), and the action and mech fighting sequences are undoubtedly some of the best ones since Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Make sure you rent/buy the first one right along with this one for a kick ass mini-marathon!

Appurushîdo (Appleseed) 4.5 Stars
A great piece of anime! I liked the plot line and I especially liked the characters. It didn't take me long to get use to the computer graphics that they made in this production, in fact I was very comfortable with it after a while, and more than once the special effects and the fighting moves from the heroes makes this movie worth watching all by itself! The only complaint I have is that I saw more than half of the plot twists coming. If you are into anime, do not miss this.
