Sinbad - Legend of the Seven Seas (2003,  PG)
Sinbad - Legend of the Seven Seas
Good movie...
This mostly traditionally animated motion picture demonstrates that computer special effects hasn't completely dominated the cartoon genre. The solid storyline and only the briefest of dummy moments inserted mostly for the kids, makes Sinbad an excellent offering for summer entertainment. Instead of fluff, we get creative animation with great computer effects as highlights, characters we can care about, and a storyline based on the most basic, fundamental moral premises - the nature of friendship and sacrifice, along with a strong female character. With few outlandish, quips except for marginal characters that provide a backdrop of comic relief, the use of humor with tact, and a delightful adventure and a moral tale that brings both sadness and hope, Sinbad brings back and more the classic animation motion pictures with vivid, bright, and glorious expression.
I like it.

Disney's Aladdin (1992,  G)
Disney's Aladdin
Good movie...
This movie has three elements that are important for an animated Disney movie: Great songs, a good villain and a great sidekick.
The songs and music in general are just great and very remarkable. Jafar is a great villain mainly because he is voiced by Jonathan Freeman who has got a good and scary voice. But what is maybe the best element of the movie is Robin Williams as the blue genie. The blue genie is like a joke machine that once it is started can't stop again and keeps you laughing.
The story is good and the pace is high. "Aladdin" is not too short and it's not too long, it's not too immature and it's not too mature, it's a perfect movie for the entire family with a wonderful love story and good animations with some good looking early computer effects.
I like it.

The Jungle Book (1967,  PG)
60
Kung Fu Panda (2008,  PG)
Kung Fu Panda
Very good animated movie...
The story was great and the background was beautiful, it really felt like an ancient Chinese city. The story is about Po, an overweight panda who is the son of a noodle maker, who dreams of Po following in his footsteps. But Po longs to be a ninja fighter. Po is as you know is a panda bear and the film's unlikely hero: as the bigger than life and completely lovable bear voiced by the comic genius Jack Black. Po is a Sweet but clumsy, bear who hears the news the ancient and long awaited dragon warrior will be named, so he runs (as much as he can) to hear who will be named at the celebration.
Without giving too much away, when an "accident" seems to name Po as the dragon warrior (much to the horror of Master Shifu (voiced perfectly by Dustin Hoffman) and the disappointment of Furious Five: Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Viper (Lucy Liu), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Crane (David Cross) and Monkey (Jackie Chan). Shifu must find a way to train him. One hilarious moment after another continues until Shifu recognizes Po's true driving force. This is just in time as the villain Tai Lung (Ian McShane), a snow leopard has returned as he believe is the true Dragon Warrior.
I really like it.
